chapter 20:

As Juna traveled deeper into the forest, she could sense a growing unease in the air. The trees seemed to be closing in around her, and the sounds of the forest had grown eerily quiet. Juna gripped her sword tightly, ready for whatever danger lay ahead.

Suddenly, a group of shadowy figures appeared before her, blocking her path. Juna could sense the dark energy emanating from them, and knew that they were not friendly.

Without hesitation, Juna charged forward, her sword gleaming in the dim light. The figures responded with a barrage of dark magic, but Juna was quick to dodge and counter with her own attacks. The battle raged on for what felt like hours, until finally Juna emerged victorious, panting and covered in sweat.

As she caught her breath, Juna couldn't help but wonder who or what those shadowy figures were. She knew that she would need to stay on guard as she continued her journey, for the dangers of Edondel were many and unpredictable.
