11 See You Next Time Master

There was a strange atmosphere surrounding the Alcorian Swordsmanship Academy, as players in full plate armor stand outside to guard with the Giant's Hand guild's emblem painted on the right pauldron. When I was about to walk past them to enter.

"Halt, none shall pass, for captain Lucius of the Giant's Hand guild is conducting official guild matters."

The guard blocked the entrance with his halberd, and the other guards have most of their focus on me now.

"I'm a disciple of the Alcorian Swordsmanship Academy, so whatever business you have with the academy, it is also my business."

They paid no mind to my words, and just blocked the entrance. Some of them were even snickering to themselves that I'm a part of the Alcorian Swordsmanship Academy.

"I said, move out of the way!"

I drew the [Emperor Alcor The First' Wrath] and activated the skill [Fiery Wrath of Alcor]. Blue Flames wrapped around the golden sword, and the guards pointed their halberds at me as they recognized the threat.

Then someone exited the door, and I saw through the slit of the door when it opened, was that they trashed the inside of the Academy.

"You're the noob who came to this academy, right?"

"Sir, Thorman!"

A man with long, wild, yellow hair stepped out of the door. His equipment is all rare, and he has two identical swords hanging from his waist, I've heard of his name before, a player known for winning all of his duels against players with dangerous bets on the line, like character deletion, item deletion, or lastly Title Bets, where one bet with their title, and if you lose, you permanently lose it, and the title of the person who won will get an upgrade.

"So, what if I entered the Alcorian Swordsmanship Academy?"

Thorman laughed when I asked that question. Then he unsheathes his twin swords and one of them at me.

"Because you'll be the last disciple of the weak Alcorian Swordsmanship Academy."

[You've received a request for a duel!]

Thorman is an expert in PVP. Fighting him will only lead to my loss, and nothing good will come out of fighting against a person who's never lost a single one of his duels, but his statements about me being the last disciple made me feel fury.

"I accept!"

[You've accepted the request!]

"That's more like it, I bet my item, [Durand's Tear]!"

"I bet, my item [Emperor Alcor's The First' Wrath]!"

Once we said our bets, the battle started. Thorman disappeared from his spot and appeared right behind me. With a grin on his face, without hesitation, he attacked me with the twin swords, but to his surprise, the bright blue flames wrapped around my body, and the aura resembled that of a roaring lion.

"Haha! That's an interesting skill you got there, but won't you drain your mana from the continuous use?"

The bright blue flames blocked his attack, and he jumped away to make some space. This time, he started calculating what to do. Thorman's class is Blade Dancer, a class that focuses on speed and unpredictable movements. Him jumping off means that the being grazed by the flames could deal a significant amount of damage to him.

[Mana: 2,212/2,222]

An active skill that remains active until the user doesn't have mana left usually consumes a lot over time, but because of that 'Mythic' title I got, the mana regeneration is matching up with the speed of mana consumption.

"Haha, how about this?"

[Blade Dance!]

A skill where the user attacks in a certain pattern 10 times, and with each successful hit, the amount of damage of the next hit will rise and when you're hit by it, you'll have the bleed status which continuously damages you over time, but that's if the attacks hit.

Like his class, the attacks came from all directions. My agility wasn't enough to match his, and I blocked only 4 of his attacks. The rest of his attacks I barely dodged, with 2 of them just grazing my skin, but it still counted as a hit.

[HP: 5,415/5,676]

[HP: 4,979/5,676]

[HP: 4,510/5,676]

[HP: 3,800/5,676]

[HP: 2,911/5,676]

[HP: 1,500/5,676]

Blood sprayed across the ground as wounds littered my body. The pain was enough for my vision to get blurred, but seeing how his damage was this much, showing the difference in power between the experienced and the inexperienced.

"This is the end!"

[Executioner's Dance!]

The executioner's dance is a skill that's not dangerous if you're at full health, as the skill shows its full potential when the opponent has taken damage, or at low health, as the damage of the skill scales with missing HP.

"Stop right there, protect the Descendant of Emperor Alcor The First!"

A familiar voice shouted out, as dozens of town guards went to my aid. With that, something miraculous happened.

[The Duel Has Concluded...]

[The Duel is a Draw!]

The only thing I learned in this duel is that Thorman is incredibly fast.

"Tch looks like you're off the hook."

The twin blades reached my throat, but it stopped once the guards intervened.

"Get away from the descendant!"

This is the third time I've heard of this. I'm a descendant of the first emperor?

[A <god> of 'The Unknown' is showing its long-lost name!]

[The <god> 'Uniter of Humanity' is protecting his child!]

Ah, one of 'The Unknown' <gods> is the first emperor, but why is he an unknown <god>. The wounds on my body started healing, and a golden barrier surrounded me, preventing any attacks that could come toward me.

"Hmm, a <god>, that is peculiar, apparently you're a <Demi-god> player, huh?"

"Sir, Lucius, we greet you."

"At ease, Thorman. I'll have to scold you later, anyway. We've collected the taxes, so let's go."

Lucius, one captain of the Giant's Hand Guild, is a player of magnificent accomplishments and was the only one in the game to have achieved a noble ranking of the count. Though there was one problem, there was blood on his shirt, gloves, and boots.

"Master!"

The barrier went down as I rushed toward the Alcorian Swordsmanship Academy. The blood on Lucius' could be his, but there was no wound on him, so the worst-case scenario is that the master was injured by him.

"Hmm, Rai? Why're you shouting?"

That was what I was expecting to hear, but the sight on the training grounds horrified me. Master whom I respected, and whom I honestly want to learn from, has both of his ripped off his body, and his heart pierced.

"Master!"

I held his body in my arms and started using the [First Aid] skill, but it was of no use, as he'd already passed away. Filled with rage, I stormed out of the building to kill Lucius, but once I got out, they were already gone.

"Where are they!?"

"Sir. <Chosen>, they've used a teleportation scroll."

The rage within me, isn't dying down, and I almost pulled my sword against the guard, but when I saw him, the guard who went with me to hunt the ogre, and the one who activated the beacon for the master and damned Giant's Hand Guild to come to save me.

"The... master is dead."

The guard, when he heard that, immediately called for the medics and the rest of the guards entered the academy. I, who was still in shock, received a <quest>.

***

"Sir. <Chosen>, I'm sorry about your loss."

I started walking away, the guards felt only pity, pity for the ones who angered an Alcorian swordsman, whose techniques become stronger through their emotions, and state of mind.

I walked, and walked, and walked. With no end in sight, the image of Lucius, and Thorman flashed inside my head, and anger filled my heart.

"I'll kill you f*ckers!"

I shouted out and the birds in the trees retreated as my voice reverberated in the forest, the local monsters showed up as they heard my voice, but as soon as they appeared, I unsheathe my sword and hacked away at the monsters.

This went on for hours, and they said that the forest around Alcor was a monster that butchers other monsters that exist.

***

"So, this is the place, huh?"

There are 2 dungeons around Alcor, well 3 now, the first is the Goblin stronghold, then the bear's forest kingdom, then the new one, Alcor's Dungeon.

"Oh, it seems like someone else found this place."

"Yeah, but what do we do brother?"

"No, problem, I'll handle this."

I heard the voices of two people, and they were in front of the dungeon. A woman with blonde hair and a nice body, she wields a staff, and next to her was also a blondy her brother from what I've heard, he has a shield on his back, and a hammer on the other.

"Hello, there you want to join our party?"
