69 Future Plans

/Eden POV\

After showing Ava & Yvir around the GOE i took them to my chambers as they fell asleep in my arms.

They were very cute, laying there while sometimes giggling in their sleep.

I walked slowly instead of teleporting there.

I mean, i was immortal so i'd like to enjoy some of life's precious moments instead of rushing anything.

Arriving at the room i saw Aya who just got back after running all over the place experiencing one of her favorite anime's world.

"Ah, Darling! You're back already?"

Aya saw that our children were sleeping so she quickly lowered her voice and made an apologetic face.

"Haha, don't worry about it. I put a barrier around them to block out noise so they can sleep peacefully."

Aya's face eased up a little before she came up to us and rubbed Ava & Yvir's cheeks.

"I'm about to go place them in bed, it's about time for our meeting with the floor guardians so i'll meet you in the conference room."

Aya nodded and gave our the kids one last kiss on the cheeks before heading to the meeting area.

I walked into the bedroom and carefully placed Ava down before putting Yvir next to her, they quickly turned towards one another and held hands.

I smiled before making sure they were okay and then i took my leave.

Now it's time for more serious matters.

I teleported to the room where we were to meet, seeing Aya waiting for me.

"They're already inside waiting for us darling."

I nodded before making sure i was presentable—who are we kidding? i'm always presentable.

The wide double doors opened for us as Aya and I walked in together.

Every floor guardian was here besides two—

Victim, guardian of the 8th floor.

Gargantua, guardian of the 4th floor.

Their presence was not necessary as they had more important tasks to attend to.

Aya and I walked towards the two seats of honor that were there for us and sat down.

"You may sit now, my guardians."

They all bowed before taking a seat.

"I've heard from Maki about recent developments while i've been away. The Silver Swords guild will not stand idly by as we've killed one of their Adamantine class adventures."

The guardians nodded in agreement before i continued.

"Aya and I will soon head to the nearest city to get more updated information." The guardians seemed worried after i said that.

"My Lord, with all due respect, we cannot allow you and Lord Aya to leave without accompanying guards." Demiurge was the first

"We are strong enough to protect ourselves but we will allow a small team of assassins with invisibility and high stealth skills to come with us. They must remain undetected." They were okay with this arrangement so they agreed.

After i concluded what i had to say it was Aya's turn, her first real appearance as a Queen.

"Hello, everyone. One of the biggest goals we have for Kaos is expanding and conquering. This means that not only will your power grow in the future, but also your responsibilities." Aya spoke very calmly, letting her godhood flow through her voice, projecting her nobility.

"I believe in you all and i know you will not disappoint us. This is all we have for todays meeting, is there anything else you would like to share?"

The guardians began to speak about projects that will help development of GOE as well as asking for permission to get them.

We sat there for the next hour before ending the meeting.

Aya sat on a sofa in the corner once they exited, a big smile on her face.

"How was that, my Queen?" I followed suit, laying down on the couch and resting my head in her lap.

She instinctively started the run her hands through my hair as this was a position we often found ourselves in whenever we relaxes.

"It was great! Being around all these characters i've only read about and seen online! More importantly, i'm their leader!"

The smile on her face got bigger and bigger, it made me smile as well.

"I'm glad you're enjoying yourself, Aya." We smiled at each other.

I closed my eyes and she did the same, continuing to play with my hair.

*Knock Knock*

Knocking on the door let us know it was time to go.

We stood up and left, opening the door to find one of the regular maids at the door.

"Lord Eden, Lord Aya, Miss Albedo has gotten the troops ready for your trip."

I thanked the maid before turning to see if Aya was ready.

Omni was always around so she took on babysitting duties and stayed watching Ava & Yvir.

She has a serious case of baby fever and i'll satisfy it at a later date.

For now, we go into the city.

I wonder if Yue will get along with Evileye?
