Chapter 9: bronze chest

I look around and find that Mark finished the last one. We then proceed to search the cave and find that there are three paths leading forward the cave is dark so there could be traps. So we move cautiously and then.

"Woosh"

A fire ball comes at us from the front it was about half a meter in diameter but Oliver is fine and then I notice something running from behind us I look at Kane and tell him, Mark, and Brian to handle the ones behind us while I run towards the wizard. The cave is dark so I try to make use of stealth until I am close enough but the wizard who was preparing another spell notices me when I am 5 meters from him and tells the three goblins that are guarding him to block me.

They run at me and I at them. One gobline jumps in the air and the other two comes at me from two sides. I ignore the two at my sides and trust my leather armor to block them and then with my longer reach I stab the jumping goblin in the head then the two other goblins slash at my legs but the cant go past my leggings armor. Then I find a fire ball comming at my face and I turn pale but Oliver comes to the rescue and places his shield in front of my face. Then I tell him to handel the two goblins while I run towards this goblin wizard. The wizard panicks and trys to throw some daggers at me but I dodge by rolling on the ground and then continue running towards it after I reach him I stab it in the neck and it dies instantly.

I don't focus on the screen and turn around to help oliver only to find that he killed the two goblins with his mace. I then go towards Mark and Brian and find that they killed three goblins. We gather ourselves and continue forward from now on Brian will focus on the shaman due to its week defense.

We continue forward and find a room to our left we enter and find 2 large goblins each wielding a meter and half club and they are about two meters tall there is a chest at the end of the room the room is about 10 meters tall and 10 meters wide.

"Oliver, Mark, and Brian you handle the right one, Kane you are with me we will handle the left one"

Kane and I charge towards the left large goblin. I notice that the goblin is slow but one hit and I am dead. So when I notice him begin a large swing I take a large step backwards dodging the swing kane goes forward and slashes its leg the goblin does a reverse swing and Kane is thrown away but he blocked with the shield so he is probably fine. I take the opportunity by going past the gobline from his right, the goblin is unable to react fast enough and I stab it in the back activating the one second stun and stabbing it in the lower end of its skull my short sword goes through and reaches the brain.

I look at the other hobgoblin and find it on its last legs there are three arrows in its chest and oliver takes the hits better than kane he dodges when he can and tries to decrease the force that hits him. He still takes some damage but he can handle multiple hits before its dangerous. Mark slashes its legs continuously. Then Brian's arrow hits the hobgoblin's neck which gives Mark the opportunity to give the hobgoblin a stab in its chest killing it. Mark then says "I leveled up".

I check up on Kane and find that he is alright so I go to the chest in the room and try to open it.

A mace once used by a wandring paladin. Enimes hit be it are slowed down for 1 second.

I gave the mace to Oliver which he receives with a smile.

Getting out of the room we continue and after killing some goblins we enter a large space where we find two hobgoblins, two goblin shmans and 4 small goblins there is also a room at the end of this space that is covered by some cloth.

I quickly pass the orders "Oliver you delay the left hobgoblin as much as you can, Kane and Mark you finish the small goblins fast then help at your judgement, Brian keep distracting the two shamans, their casting time is about 4 seconds, I will handle the right hobgoblin".

Just after I finish aaying that I rushed towards the right hobgoblin, kane and Mark quickly intercepted the small goblins. I anticipate the hobgoblin large swing by talking a step back, then I know it is going to do a reverse swing so I roll to the right quickly barely dodging its swinging range. I then rush at him and it tries to punch me with its left hand but I slash my short sword at it cutting its fingers then as it roars in pain I rush forward and cut its arm off. It swings its large club at me but at this range its large weapon is very easy to dodge, Itake a step to the left while lowering my head and then I cut its right hand holding the club of and then proceed to cut its head.

I then find a fire ball headed my way apparently Brian couldn't handle distracting two shamans at the same time so I react fast and throw my short sword at it it explodes 3 meters away from me. I then run towards the shaman take out a dagger I have bought and stab it in its left eye. I take my dagger and quickly go to the other shman and finish it off. Brian managed to distract it by firing arrows at it and forcing it to dodge. I then look around and find that the rest of the goblins are did, kane managed to kill the last hobgoblin by stabbing it in the back.
