Chapter 2

Suddenly, I felt someone pulling my head so hard as he flings me hitting my head so hard on the wall that immediately I became unconscious.

My eyes fluttered open as I found myself in a dark room. This time around there was no doll hanging on the wall.

As I spent some seconds blinking to regain consciousness I kept slipping in and out of it.

"Creeks"

The door creaked open as a man in his late twenties who looks very cute with a pair of blue eyes, walks in with a tray of food and a pair of new cloth. I positioned myself in a strategic corner of the bed, as I stare at the man who was already walking toward me.

Fear engulfed me, as he stares coldly at me.

"He angrily put down the plastic tray with a floral design carrying a porcelain cup and a saucer, with a plate covered with food."

"When you are done eating, you change into this cloth he said with a deep voice."

"So rude"

The man whose name was still unknown to me left immediately after dropping the tray. I stood up carefully opened the plate of food and munched on the food immediately.

"Mmmh the cardamom, and coconut cream are just right."

"Wow, this is so delicious I said as I licked my lips in excitement."

After the filling breakfast, I lazily stretched myself on the bed, gazing at the sun with my eyes a little bit closed. The rays are making me drunk with laziness, I stare at the new cloth that was folded and kept on the bed. Suddenly I felt the urge to stand up and change.

I could barely walk as I drag my feet and headed towards the bathroom with a towel. The heater knob was not properly locked. Water was dripping inside the bucket, tam-tam. I hastily took my bath closed the tap, and went back to the room with my towel tied firmly around my body.

I put on the cloth with ease. "I sat at the edge of the bed as I spotted a photograph who could that be?" I asked myself.

I pick the picture it was the same man that brought the food and cloth, I stared at the picture wondering what could be his name "Logan" I saw a name at the back of the frame could that be his name?

As I held the photograph in my hands, I couldn't help but wonder who this Logan guy was. I mean, he brought me food and clothes, and now I find his picture? Talk about a mystery! I stared at the photo, trying to figure out any clues. And then, I noticed something interesting. There was a name written on the back of the frame - "Logan". Could that be his name? It seemed like a possibility.

But I wasn't done yet. I wanted to dig deeper and find out more about this Logan character. As I looked closely at the picture, I noticed a faint reflection on the glass frame. It looked like a street sign, but it was too blurry to make out the details. I squinted my eyes, trying to remember if there was anything else in the photo that could give me a clue. Maybe there was something in the background that could help me identify the location.

With a surge of determination, I decided to embark on a quest to uncover the truth. I knew I had to follow the breadcrumbs and find out the connection between Logan, the food, the clothes, and everything else that was happening.

"Creeeaak"

The door opens cutting me out of my thoughts.

As the door creaked open, my heart skipped a beat. I turned my head to see who was standing there, and to my surprise, it was Logan himself! He had a warm smile on his face as he entered the room.

"Hey there!" Logan greeted me. "I hope you're settling in okay. I noticed you found my picture. Did you figure out who I am?"

I was taken aback by his presence but managed to gather my thoughts. "Yeah, I found your picture and your name on the back of the frame. I was just wondering who you are and what your connection is to all of this."

Logan chuckled softly. "Well, I'm the owner of this place. I saw you outside, looking lost and hungry, so I decided to help you out. I brought you some food and clothes, hoping it would make your day a little better."

I couldn't believe it. This stranger, Logan, had shown me such kindness. "Thank you so much, Logan. I really appreciate your help. But I have to ask, why did you leave your picture behind?"

Logan's smile grew wider. "Ah, that's a little secret. Let's just say it was meant to pique your curiosity and lead you to me. I wanted to make sure you knew who to thank."

I couldn't help but laugh at the cleverness of it all. "Well, mission accomplished, Logan. You definitely had me intrigued. I'm grateful for your generosity. Is there anything I can do to repay you?"

Logan shook his head. "No need for repayment. Just promise me that you'll pay it forward someday. Help someone else in need, just like I helped you."

I nodded, touched by his words. "I promise, Logan. I'll make sure to spread kindness and help others whenever I can."

And with that, Logan and I continued our conversation, getting to know each other better. Little did I know, this encounter would be the start of a beautiful friendship, built on acts of kindness and a shared desire to make the world a better place.

Out of curiosity, I Peered through one of the rooms and saw two dead bodies lying on top of the bed I went further inside to take a closer look. That was when I found out that they were two of my gang members
