Prolouge

2975

Sitting in an office, high in a tower, was a woman scribbling a note. After what seemed to be hours, she finished. She folds the note and snaps. The note disappears in a flash of smoke and light. She snaps again, but whispers a name. Suddenly a man with black angel wings appears in a flash of light.

"Thanatos." She greets coolly.

"Khaos." The angel responds.

"It's time. I wish it weren't. I have seen what he is to do, and he will be the reason of his stiring. Not to mention the death of that one hero. Pierce Johnson? No, Perseus Jackson. He'd be dead if we didn't send Echo. Please, can you guide him? I'll get a message to you then." Khaos seems to promise.

"Is that the note you sent a minute ago?" Thanatos asks.

"You mean a millennium ago?" Khaos chides.

"Yes, yes. Details." Thanatos chuckles.

Khaos snaps and in her arms appears a sleeping newborn. "Are you ready? Things will only dissolve from here if he stays. This is our only shot at preventing the end of the universe." She cries. "I'm sorry baby!"

She opens a portal and tosses the baby through, swaddled in a blanket seemingly made of stars.

"Void's luck be with you till we meet again, my son." Khaos whispers.

A millennium earlier

1975

As the different deities look into the sky from their places of power, they would see a flying newborn baby, and feel his power. Some prayed he land amongst them, some prayed he didn't. Most wanted to raise him, others?- kill him. Sadly, he landed amongst the Olympians, in the lap of their paranoid King's brother's lap. He soon wakes up, and giggles grabbing a handful of Poseidon's beard.

Little did Poseidon know, the child that landed in his lap, is the child that would grow into the man/god who would save his son.

Zeus commands the kid be raised among mortals, seeing as his power is above their father's. Poseidon goes, summons a basket, and leaves the baby on a doorstep in Queens, New York.

Approximately 2 years later

"Echo! Get back here!" A brown haired woman calls, grinning.

"Coming mommy!" A boy with black streaked hair calls back.

"My friend, Estelle, is having a baby tomorrow, so you'll have a friend in a couple years. Wouldn't that be nice?" The woman asks after he gets back.

"What is the baby's name?" Echo asks.

"They don't know yet. They're thinking of calling her Sally." The woman sighs happily.

"Ok mommy." Echo says. "Can you make cookies?"

"Of course baby." The woman grins at her son while thinking about how, in a millennium, she'd be causing her son to be raised thinking his mom left him.
