The Haunting Vengeance

Once there was a murderer who, in a bid to rob a family, mercilessly slaughtered them all, including the children. When he held a sharp knife to a child's throat, the youngster astonishingly remained calm and asked, "Are you afraid I'll kill your whole family?"

The murderer hesitated for a moment but ultimately made a ruthless decision, ending the child's life. He then looted their possessions, set their house on fire to obliterate the evidence, and fled without a trace.

He eluded the relentless pursuit of the special investigation unit, underwent plastic surgery, and settled down in a small town. Life seemed peaceful for him. After marrying and having a son, nightmares began plaguing him. Nearly every night, he dreamt of a child standing before him, repeating, "Kill your whole family, kill your whole family, kill your whole family..."

Each time he woke up in terror, drenched in sweat, he felt that danger was drawing ever closer. He spent his days in perpetual anxiety. Desperate for help, he sought out a mystic who, after a calculation, revealed that the vengeful spirit of the child haunted him and would soon seek retribution against his entire family.

The murderer wept bitterly, pleading with the mystic to spare his family. The mystic considered the matter and said, "Move to a new home as far away as possible. I'll give you an amulet. Hang it at your new doorstep before the vengeful spirit locates you."

At any cost, the murderer obtained the lifesaving amulet, and overnight, he moved his wife and son to a city far away. He hung the amulet at the entrance.

As expected, he enjoyed several peaceful nights of sleep, free from the chilling child's apparition. One day, he received a call from an unknown number, informing him that his child was critically injured after being hit by a car and was in dire need of immediate medical attention at a specific hospital.

Panicked, he rushed to the location provided on the phone, only to find a desolate, eerie wasteland. The murderer realized he had fallen victim to a ploy devised by the vengeful child to lure him away.

In a hurry, he returned home and knocked on the door. Upon seeing his wife and child, he asked in relief, "Are you both okay?" His wife, upon seeing him, screamed in shock and asked, "Who is the child standing behind you?"
