Chapter 1-How it started

MR Orwell, the former Chief Executive Editor of the Forbes Company wakes up early in the

morning at around 5:30, struggling to open his eyes to lay out the first stone of the plan of his

day, he commanded his house to play him the song [You Can Do Whatever] by Yusuf Cat

Stevens-while he was trying to reach out for his Samsung Galaxy Reloaded X8 phone which was

on the other far end of his bed-to check the news and updates of April 12 2059, upon touching

his phone with his more dead than alive right hand he said to his phone with a deep drowsy

voice: "today's news"; his phone's blue screen it then switched on and lighted up displaying the

main top story of that day which read: "one of the most successful companies in the 2050s

Power-I has reached a staggering 4 and a half Trillion United States Dollars in valuation"; MR

Orwell moved his head from side to side and said to himself: "Norman has accumulated more

than enough wealthy but he will not stop there nope he won't, that punk"; he then opened his

mouth widely and took a long deep breath as he locked his phone and throwed it on the left

side of his bed while slowly moving out of his white sheets heading straight to the bathroom.

At the Power-I headquarters located in the United States of America Washington DC, 12 April

2059 was the same day the Executive team of Power-I would carry on, one of their esoteric

meetings which only took part after a period of three Months and the main mental pabulum on

the table this time was to think on how and where to spend and invest their more than

adequate amount of money on. Power-I fortunate hit came from its ultra-motivated and

talented work-force combined together with their more catholic than the Pope Executives

when it came to business and Innovation. Power-I was involved in Energy, in which it had

brought up and developed the most popular product of the time named IHP meaning 'I have

power', the IHP became popular because anyone with it could have electricity sent to it with

no any powerlines connected or nearby, the IHP allowed people to charge their electric vehicles

anywhere and anytime together with new man's best friend the phone, it could also power

houses if you had bought a bigger IHP and connected it to the cables that went in into your

house, all this electricity would come from the electrical centers dotted around the whole

World; anyone would buy electricity online and immediately starts to access and use it

wirelessly not using wi-fi as it still proved weak to carry electricity but some small chips created

by Power-I that could be mounted in phones, cars etc. it was a revolutionary idea that

catapulted the company to great heights of success, Power-I also had interests in space, electric

gadgets, Water and Virtual Reality(VR).

The Special Executive Meeting of Power-I started

MR Norman the Founder and Chief Executive Officer started the meeting by saying:

"Energy, Water, Food, Environment, Space, Poverty, Diseases, Education, Democracy,

Population, Terrorism and War are some of the most humanity top problems and things like

these are what every intelligent person would look at and starts to do or build something based

around them. All of us here are intelligent that is why today, I know and have a positive feeling

that, we are going to pick one thing from the list above and act upon it until we are luxuriant

rich and of course change the World while doing it". After MR Norman was done with his short

introduction of the meeting, Ronald Smith stood up and shouted: "Mars Mars Mars"; hitting

the table with his left fist, for some few seconds there was a circumvolution of silence until The

Chief Executive Officer MR Norman slowly drifted his chair and faced his Chief Technological

Officer MR Smith and said to him: "what about Mars".

MR Smith smiled as he had got the chance to put the saddle on the right horse to run his course

of explaining his long stretching from childhood to adulthood dream of filling up planet Mars

with robots-to his fellow smart Executives, for they were the only people he knew who could

turn his ocean of dreams without a sound into a reality. MR Smith started to share with the

executives in the meeting what he thought was the best favorably and prosperous idea to

invest and spend their more than enough revenue on next.

All alive and kicking He started to enthusiastically tell his plan in a trumpet blast voice by saying:

"let us make and design robots in our own image, in our own likeness, after that,

let them rule all over the corners of the red planet and do multitudes of researches on our behalf."

(he spoke like in the bible when God was about to create man), and he continued by saying:

"let us make these robots more Advanced than any other machine before, to the extent that they will

have the freedom and power of choosing between what is right and what is wrong,

let us make them move like us, think like us and even mimic all of our human moods,

let us increase and multiply them in numbers after a certain period of time and group them together into

families just like us,

above all let us limit our interference with their lives, let us let them live alone far away sixty-four million

two hundred and twenty-one thousand kilometers away from us in Mars.

As for us, we will only act as their gods, we will be watching their day to day lives from the micro

cameras which we will place on each of their foreheads,

Let us do this and change the way we look beyond our skies and space";

The Chief Executive Officer MR Norman, stood up and started clapping his hands before any of

his executive team members could also clap, ask a question or add anything to MR Smith's idea-while MR Smith was still enthusiastically narrating his thoughts and he MR Norman said while

laughing out loud as if he had inhaled some laughing gas: "aaaaah hahahahahahaha oooooh

hahahahahahaha X5"; I need some Amazon-plus's founder laugh, the Bezos' laugh for this one:

" ladies and gentlemen this is the most stupidest thing that I have ever heard coming out of the

mouth of a grown executive man who runs an entire department of technology in one of the

biggest, largest and richest technological company in the history of mankind; anyone with a

better idea and oooooh while we are thinking let us allow a safe passage and put our hands

together for MR Smith as he is sitting down thinking about, how narrow-minded his idea was".

Demotivated, embarrassed by his own boss in front of his own team members about the dream

he loved the most, MR Smith felt like a mare's tail and went on to sit on his chair, his shoulders

dropped and he faced down on the table with both of his hands locked to each other at the

back of his head feeling uselessly laid on the shelf, however Shalom the Creative Director of

Power-I stood up to give MR Smith a new life; she said knowing that her boss MR Norman liked

money, the popularity of his company and to serve the people beyond all bounds: "maybe what

MR Smith said is not a bad or an illiberal idea at all MR Norman, we can fire up, the blood of

the people of the whole World and make a lot of money while carrying out this idea"; MR

Norman the CEO said: "how are we going to do that Shalom"; Shalom replied by saying "with

cameras mounted on each of the forehead of each robot we can make a TV series here on Earth

and believe you me people will be very attracted and interested in seeing how the robots will get

on with their lives, we will start with few robots and later on add more, watching their day to

day life, it will be like watching Adam and Eve from their first day in the garden of Eden going all

the way up to this day".

Zack the Chief Human resource officer joined the conversation by saying: "it will be like the old

past Truman show the movie, in a series like manner?"; MR Smith motivated again and hearing

that his idea was gaining some momentum stood up and said: "yes just like thousands of

Trumans"; Shalom then asked "what are the risks of this MR Smith"; but MR Norman interfered

the talk and said: "oooooh no they won't be any risks in Mars they won't be, anyway without

risks nothing much can be achieved besides-MR Smith will build a kill switch for all the robots

just in case something minor might go wrong, is that right MR Smith" said MR Norman facing

him; from this time on, MR Smith knew that he had the ball on his feet and it was only a matter

of time before the laying of his idea's foundation could start taking place "yes yes of course Sir";

replied MR Smith. Zack the Chief Human resource officer also said: "this is great, we have

interests in space and it is listed in your list MR Norman, we can do this series and at the same

time, these robots will be doing some researches for us, who knows what we might find out

there".

MR Norman went on to say: "you see, this is how all great companies, ideas and projects are

built, no matter how much other people may look down to the ground upon your idea and laugh

out their lungs labelling it out, as one of the most over-credulous ideas to ever come out of this

World, never mind them, press on with it, prove that it is worth a try and above all- if you find

people who supports your ideas as we do here, stick with them, stay hungry stay foolish"; and

when he was done saying this, he said: "continue with your talk MR Smith, I never wanted to

embarrass you, I just wanted to see if you really did believe in your idea".

MR Smith continued his talk by saying:

"People no longer talk they watch talk shows; they no longer play games they watch game

shows; they no longer want to face their reality they watch reality shows; surely a few of us the

2% who are willing to face reality, who are able to turn away from our devices and more

distractions been brought at a fast rate in this World every day, are the ones willing to take the

risks of this life and build something meaningful and helpful for the other 98%. So let us go on

with this mission and after its completion in some few months from now, people will no longer

live their lives and they are already not living these days, they will watch our robots live from

mars and allow them to exists on their behalf simulating their life, goals and dreams";. 12

minutes after MR Smith was done talking about his idea the meeting was done.

When the executive team started walking out of their clothed with authority all blue futuristic

lightened glass meeting room, Trish the newly appointed Chief Financial Officer at Power-I, ran

to Shalom and said to her: "well what MR Norman did there to MR Smith, for a second I thought

about how this company managed to become such a success with a leader like him in the

2050s"; Shalom said: "he does not operate under normal circumstances, when someone tells

him about a certain idea no matter how attractive and intelligent it may sound, he will want you

to convince him that you are somehow attached to this idea and that your idea will bring money

and popularity to the company"; Trish: "ok I see, is that all I need to know about him"; Shalom:

"he also does not want to go with what the majority thinks, when the majority goes to the right

he goes forward not left because many people will naively also go left if right fails them";

hahahahahahaha they both laughed, Shalom continued her talk by saying: "that is why he is

now a Christian and the reason he told us that he became a Christian is because for over the last

years, many people have been dropping out of Christianity meaning that few will go to Heaven

and the majority will go to hell, again he said he does not want to be with the majority in hell

and as few people are believing in Christianity it is the right path to take"; hahahahahahaha

again they laughed as Shalom was about to walk to her desk, Trish: "what a smart man";

Shalom: "you haven't seen a thing, just stay a little bit around and you will see what coup de

maître is".
