[Unbound] Sword [Growth]

"Would you like to bound this weapon?"

An item that can become a divine class! Di Lan's eyes sparkled in delight. Without any hesitations, he bound the Sword right away.

<Bounding...100%>

"Congratulations! You have bounded the item Sword."

"Note: You will not be able to use any other sword-type weapons."

"Eh?" Di Lan was surprised. "Does it really mean that I can only use this weapon for the rest of my gaming life?"

"Oh well.." Reminding of the weapon can become a divine class, Di Lan can't give a fck to it. However, later will he know how he is making his new life a struggle of more than what he can handle with his care free choices.

Mystery Egg [???]

• An egg that can randomly hatch a [Common] up to [Divine] class being.

"Would you like to hatch it?"

"Hell, yeah!" After bounding the Sword, Di Lan checked the last item that he received. Learning what the item was all about, his eyes got brighter than ever. He dreamt of having a dragon pet if there's one in this game. Though there is one, it is already a Divine class which is a 1 out of 100% chance of getting. Of course, we can only doubt if Di Lan has this kind of dogshit luck.

Feeling high from the blessed future that was not really set in stones, Di Lan looked expectantly at the castle made of stones at a ten kilometer distance from the cliff that he was currently in.

The castle was of the capital city of Stone Kingdom. From where Di Lan is right now, he have to traversed the Stonewood Forest first in order to get into that place.

"Warning: You will now be entering a danger zone."

"Tutorial Mode Pro Max will commence."

"Would you like to use the Autopilot or Semipilot?"

On the Game Console's manual, Di Lan actually read about the game's AI assistance during level 0 up to level 9. This was the tutorial mode phase which is exclusively provided to Pro Max version of Game Consoles.

There are two types of Tutorial Mode. First, is the Autopilot which provides 100% Efficiency and 50% Effectivity. The second, is the Semipilot which provides 50% Efficiency and 100% Effectivity.

Efficiency pertains to being completely controlled by the game's AI displaying the perfect way of combating monsters. Effectivity on the other hand pertains to the muscle memory retainment to the player's mind. Since the player was not the first person experiencing the battle on hand, the effectiveness will only be halved unlike on Semipilot, the game's AI will only instruct and guide the player to the perfect way of combating monsters.

Knowing about this at the beginning, Di Lan chose the Semipilot Tutorial Mode as he does not want to be controlled by anyone or anything anymore.

Inside the Stonewood Forest.

Half of the monsters population settling on this forest were of slimes around level 1 to 5. This due to the fruits of the trees which actually helps the evolution and propagation of these species. A quarter came from the wolves which is around level 4 to 7, as they like eating the slime's core -- one core can satiate a wolf for three days. Lastly, that would be the goblins around level 7 to 9, they love the wolf's meat especially humans's.

Three hours passed by, it was already night time. Normally, a player could have already exited the forest at this span of time however, Di Lan could not even see any distinction of an exit. Definitely, he was lost in the forest. Instead of at least, being in the outer area of the forest already, unknowingly, he was now in the innermost area of the forest which is already the den of wolves and goblins.

Countless slimes and some wolves have already been slayed by Di Lan with the help of the game's AI. However, despite the many counts of monsters being killed, he only barely gained two levels. This is due to quarter of the EXP being gained goes to the Sword which would only later be noticed when the Sword levels up as well.

The good thing on the other hand is that Di Lan was starting to learn how to fight properly. The Semipilot really is perfect for those who are not talented like him.

Another two hours passed by, finally, Di Lan was able to see flickering lights which was around 500 meters distance. Di Lan ran to the light but kept being intercepted by wolves which really annoyed him to death.

"Pesky wolves!" He could not help but mutter as he horizontally slashed the pouncing wolf's belly. After countless battles with them, Di Lan was ingrained with wolves' weakness by the game's AI.

"Congratulations! Your weapon Sword leveled up to 1."

When he was already in a 250 meters distance from the light, Di Lan leveled up to 5 from the non stop assault of the wolves. Though he was surprised that his weapon leveled up, he did not have the time to be curious about it as of the moment.

The more that he gets near to the flickering lights, Di Lan found it strange that the wolves' assaults would become more relentless as well.

'Do they really badly not want to let go of me?' Di Lan can only lament on this thought.

Fed up, with the new found strength from leveling up, Di Lan roared to the wolves that were still out there in the dark.

Di Lan thought that there were only two wolves left and the alpha wolf, however, never he expected that there were still around 20 to 30 wolves as their eyes glowed yellow in the dark from his taunt..

Seeing this, Di Lan can't help but gulp his new found strength back down to his gut when he saw the pair of red eyes that were bigger than the pairs of yellow eyes that slowly glowed in the dark.

"Awooooooo!!!"
