85 Kunoichi

In the year 116 of The Shinobi World Calender, the smell of blood seems to permeate every inch of the world as tensions between the five great nations begin to rise. It hasn't been long since the second world war ended, and none of the great nations were satisfied with their gains or losses...

However, their wounds were deep and they needed a little more time to recover....but not one sain person would say that the past war, was the last....what was left unsettled will be addressed, it was only a matter of time.

The villages hidden in the leaves, the sand, the rock, the clouds, and the mist are seen as the most powerful militant entities that currently exist, and for good reason; each of them wields power that dwarfs any nation outside of the great five...however, each of them still has their differences.

For example, The Hidden Cloud Village is known to have a large amount of elite jonin ranked ninja (relative to the other five), while the Hidden Leaf Village is well established as the cradle of geniuses. A substantial amount of Kage-ranked shinobi are produced every generation, which is the main reason they're able to guard the most fertile and valuable land against the other great nations...

Despite these five great villages (and their daimyo backers) using their power to suppress the smaller nations, one nation began to bare its claws at the big players during the second Shinobi world war..... this village was known as the Hidden Rain Village, and was led by the Demi-God Hanzo of the Salamander. A certified upper-Kage ranked shinobi, whose prestige grows day by day...cemented firmly when he defeated and named the three disciples of the Hokage, The Legendary Sannin.

However, strong Hanzo may be, civil war still ravages his territory and the Hidden Rock Village is moving to take advantage of such disputes and are currently trying to cease territory in the Hidden Rain...

...

In the Hidden Leaf Village, the atmosphere seems much better than that of Hidden Rain, at least for now....the sun shines brightly over a lush and green Konoha filled with bustling streets and happy villagers, naive to undercurrents surging in the outside world.

In the wealthy district of Konoha, there sat many clans...one of which was the Aburame clan. A powerful insect-wielding family whose reclusive nature and isolated temperament caused many to dislike them, and many more to feel....unsettled.

However, despite how unsettled a villager or ninja might be by the Aburame clan, they all knew to respect them....they were a noble clan for a reason, and using their vast array of insects and insect-related techniques, they were formidable, to say the least...

Within the Aburame clan land, on the outskirts, a small home was sitting quietly. Inside the home was a seventeen-year-old female Kunoichi clan member...her name was Aburame Mizi.

Mizi was not well known...she was a Chunnin, on the cusp of being an elite chunin. Her only flaw, holding her back for all of these years, was intelligence...as powerful as her Kidaichu beetles were, they were useless unless your chakra control and intelligence were capable of nurturing them....they were dangerous insects and if given the incorrect amount of chakra or nurtured incorrectly, they would kill their host...

Because she was given this insect at a young age and was found to have little potential, she was given an Aburame Insect Sealing technique that would ensure that the beetles cohabitated naturally in Mizi's body properly, but she would be unable to use them in battle or everyday life...

In the clan's terminology, she was a 'special habitat' to breed these insects, nothing else...but, despite her cruel fate, she still had the will to persevere in the ninja profession. She became a Taijutsu and weapon specialist Chunnin and has many D and C ranked missions under her belt.

All and all, she was her average head-strong clan shinobi whose ceiling of power was estimated to be around special Jonin if the appropriate effort and resources were put in...

Although the Aburame clan saw her as worthless when it came to the clan techniques, they didn't treat her like an outcast. She was a hardworking and dedicated Kunoichi who was making the best out of unfortunate circumstances...more so, she was family, and as unfilial as many of the people in The Shinobi World were to untalented youths, this was not the case for the Aburame and many other families....such as the Nara, Akimichi, Inuzuka, etc...

She had just come back from her first solo C-ranked mission that was only C ranked because the client had enough money...the danger was almost non-existent which left Mizi satisfied. When she sat down on her bed to take off her sandals, her eyes glazed over and she fell backward onto her bed....the flickering candle-light was slowly fading as the over-used wick tried its best to shed light inside the house, but as time went by and hours passed, it had to give up its struggle...

.......

In the middle of the night, a woman sat up quickly in her isolated home panting heavily...

"God d@mn it, that information rush just can't be any more comfortable can it own great 'holy-child' of the Oscars family..." the lady muttered spitefully as she approached the nearest mirror to have a look at her new body...

She had a lean and fit body with moderately sized assets. She wore black shinobi pants with a weapons pouch strapped to her left thigh...her upper body was covered by a dark-green shirt with sleeves much too long that widened the closer they got to the hands. The shirt's hem covered her nose, all the way down to her sternum leaving her sternum to waist bear, if not for the bandages that wrapped her entire torso, leaving no skin visible below her eye line.....she was a pretty brunette by all accounts, if not for the weird circular sunglasses that took a few points off her beauty...
