15 Interlude

After finally creating "The Four Nations" world which took over a year of mentally exhausting and challenging work, I successfully re-created my first IP in Blue Star. Yours truly (Mr. Oscars), finally took a small break within a large mansion budding up against the inner west wall of the city of Altissia.

This location is in an isolated area that is heavily guarded and is part of one of the few restricted zones within the city to which Travelers are not permitted entry.

During this break I prepared a huge set of documents for my first "Beta Testers", I need to ensure that as "Travelers" to my IPs, they don't go spouting nonsense like "I'm from a different world and I need your help".

After finishing the documents and setting a date to open a connection, I reminisce on the world I've built over the past year from the landscapes, the seas and sea life, the characters, and the architecture. Everything related to world-building was difficult and time-consuming moreover, after long sessions of work I would feel dead tired with my fatigue lasting for weeks.

I learned many things in the process for example, after creating a type of tree once, for every subsequent creation of the same species of tree it would be extremely easy, like a mental copy past function although it's not quite the same. Point is, as the creation went on, the mental exhaustion lessened which reduced the time taken. What defiantly caused me the most trouble was creating the spirits and the spirit world.

The difficulty related to the spiritual, in this case, was creating a "link" between the spirit world and the physical plane. I had to grant each spirit the related power, for example, I had to create the ocean and moon spirits....give them power over the ocean and moon, enforce them as the "source and power" of waterbending, tie all waterbenders around the world to the spirit/moon spirits, and then finally move these two spirits into the physical world because they reside in the Northern Water Tribe.

This was a tedious process which was not as simple as willing a 1:1 replication of a building into existence....the intrinsic difficulty in the interweaving of intelligence, power, the physical, the spiritual....it was all very taxing but very fulfilling.

None of my creations know of my existence in this world except the lion turtles. The reason why I informed the lion turtles of what this world truly is? Simple, If I'm going to fulfill my promise of not "ruling" over my worlds, I will need someone to ensure the balance is maintained in my stead, and ensure my will is carried out throughout time.

They will also be the only characters that will keep their memories and experiences after each reset as they are essentially caretakers of that world that I will check in with from time to time to ensure everything is running smoothly.

"Now to prepare these documents for the public..."

--------TIME SKIP------

' Well opening my world has certainly set off waves....' after posting the documents and receiving all of these applications I'm getting excited just thinking about how these people will react to Bending and how they will integrate? I hope crazies didn't pass the screening of the turtles.

I wonder where the lion turtles will decide to put people? They have extreme wisdom and I told them to place people throughout the world and nations based on personal characteristics and nature but I'm curious to see how that translates...
