Chapter 17 - Protect them all!

Issei was sat down while his latest pact place stocks of paper newly written storyboard. It was a yet to be released manga that his costumer created.

"Sorry if my place seem a mess."

"Nah I don't I'm just honored to meet you. I read some of your manga and it's amazing specially how you write the characters."

"Oh so devils read my work? Good thing I'm not religious hahaha this going to be a 'Hell' of a night."

Issei only sweat dropped on the bad pun of his costumer who cough out of embarrassment. He then pointed to the stack of paper at the table while taking a sit then explained the reason why he summoned Issei's.

"Anyway here's my story about a new manga was working on. I was wondering if devil such as yourself can 'shine' some ideas into me."

"Was that a pun?"

"Oh come on was is it really that horrible!? My wife did warn me about it."

"Yeah it's horrible."

"Ouch well can you read and give me some suggestion."

He nodded while reading the content which made him intrigue having themes like other mythology it was both action and romantic story where the main protagonist was sealed after his lover was taken away by opposing force. It made him want to know what had happened to the woman after the main character was sealed.

"So whatcha think? It's about an angel who fell in love and cast by god which led to holy war then ended up by the fallen angel losing while first fallen angel still lived and be soon unsealed."

"It has a great plot though has some hole still made me hook and intrigue what happened to his lover."

"Hahaha thanks! So tell me a bit of real life devils? Do you have any special powers that I used as base?"

"I can't tell you much cause you might end up getting killed. However, I can give few ideas for power."

"Great!!"

Issei proceeded to tell about few of thirteen Longinus sacred gear which cause the mangaka eyes to shine and maniacally wrote it down. The guy was invested in getting the ideas and including it to his story.

He found devil in the media was far off compare to a real one. Though he wonders if he need to sell his soul.

"Nice that's amazing concept of power. I'll add it and call it the thirteen celestial star oh that's a nice ring to it!"

"Glad to have helped.."

"So do I have pay using my soul or something? I'm 'dying' to know shit!"

Issei don't know if he should laugh or cry the fact that the guy is horrible at using pun and timing.

"Nah we used to that but not anymore. Anything valuable is enough."

"Hmmm anything valuable eh? Hold on."

The middle man stood up from his chair and went to his drawer trying to find something. It took him a while until he took out two manga volume.

"Is this enough? I only have this yet to be publish volume of my latest manga and her is my wife works. This is signed limited edition side copy of her series."

Issei eyes went wide seeing the two manga. One being the well known magical girl series called Magical Girl Milky Spiral Seven while the other Rias favorite manga by her favorite mangaka. He was shocked to found out the mangaka was the husband of the famous magical show.

"Oh holy crap! Are you sure giving me that? Don't you think I might leak it!?"

"Hahaha I believe you won't do something like that or it would be a 'hell' of a mess…..shit."

"I don't even if your serious."

"*cough* anyway take it, maybe you can give it to someone special."

"Sure thank you."

Issei packed his payment of the deal afterwards gain the pact of the seal. He was excited to show the manga leaving the excited mangaka.

"Hahaha I didn't expect to meet a devil."

Issei teleported back to the ORC being greeted by Rias doing her own devil works. She was wearing a glasses which made her more beautiful. He didn't notice his face showed a smile.

"I finish my work today, Buchou."

Rias awoken from her work seem to be forcing herself to get her mind from the raiser business which made Issei pissed with an addition of a foreign emotion when thinking about how he abused the Phoenix bloodline. His blood boiled thinking his sully the name of devil blood.

'Did I just thought that? Is this a side of the True maou bloodline?'

"Issei are you listening?"

"Ah sorry buchou I was just thinking of something. What was it your telling me?"

"I said what did the client paid with?"

"Oh you'd be surprise! Check it!"

Issei took manga on the plastic bug that made Rias stunned for second and immediately recompose herself. Internally she was getting giddy on the text written on it.

"What is it, Issei? A manga?"

"Yeah it came a my client earlier that was actually the famous mangaka who wrote the 'Shining midnight'."

Hearing his words made Rias more excited to confirm if it was really the mangaka she really loved. She saw that it was the yet to be public volume. It was her favorite story about that had main heroine had similar situation.

"That's interesting to hear."

"Ara~ you've return rather quickly?"

"Akeno-san?"

"For doing a great job do you want a reward? Maybe I can let you touch my breast?"

"Wait really!?"

"Akeno stopped teasing Issei."

Akeno came out of nowhere and hugged Issei from behind making Rias annoyed. She demanded her queen to stopped that only resulted amused smile by her.

"fufu I was just teasing…or am I."

"Anyway Issei great work for getting another pact you seem to be natural."

"Hahaha you think so."

"Now hand over the payment to me and you go rest."

"Forgive buchou but can I read this first? I've been dying to know the story."

"Ara~ what is this? Shining midnight? Isn't this…"

"A-ke-no."

Rias stopped her queen on exposing her secret. Issei only found it adorable that she was hiding her observation anything Japanese. He could see her disappointment when Issei asked to read manga first.

"Tell me ise-kun? Why do you like that manga?"

"Oh that's simple! I like how badass the main character and how he save every girls. Not to mention, I saw myself on the main character."

"And what did you saw yourself in the protaginist?"

"Willing to fight anyone be god or a whole army for his lovers and friends."

His words lace with dominances and assurances that made the king and queen blush at how manly he looked saying those words. For Rias she imagine herself being treated like the main heroine who was rescue by the protagonist.

While Akeno her masochist tendency was getting attracted by Issei manliness.

"Ara~ Ise-kun looks so manly it's making me hot."

"*cough* Issei hand over the payment as I need to evaluate it first."

"Sure but can I take a peak once that done?"

"That wouldn't be a problem but I'll give it to you tomorrow."

"Alright see tomorrow then, Buchou."

Issei said his farewell happy that he was getting Rias interest in him after his words. He would surely fight for her when raiser comes making sure to transform him into a fried chicken.

"Ara~ I see that your happy getting that volume."

"D-Don't make into a big deal. I didn't expect for to gain a copy of this."

"So are you interested in him? If you don't act fast I might snatch him first."

"A little. His words earlier and how he looked at me seem to held something else."

Rias stared at the door then towards the manga and held it close to her chest that ease her mind from raiser. This cause Akeno to genuinely smile seeing her king happy though partly jealous due the foreign emotion.

The next day Issei and his having breakfast when the doorbell rang. It was holiday which meant Issei had a free time to test his power until the night.

"Issei can you get that for me?"

"Sure kaa-san."

He already knew who came to visit based from the aura they radiating and upon opening the door he was greeted by two beautiful woman.

"Yo Aniki!"

"Hello issei."
