Chapter 52: Preparations for the Future

Back in the DxD world, everyone felt a sense of relief as they could finally start settling down. Shisui stretched his hand and expressed, "Ahh, it's great to be back."

Itachi nodded and turned to Izumi, "Would you like to join an acting school now?" Izumi smiled and replied, "Umm, not yet. Let us enjoy some time together first."

Sasuke approached his father and asked, "How are going to handle our financial problem?" Fugaku thought for a moment and said, "You still have the gold I asked you to retrieve from the clan compound."

Sasuke nodded, "Yes, we'll have to sell it illegally, though." Fugaku sighed, knowing it was the only way to get the initial capital they needed. He didn't want to rely on their future daughter-in-laws for financial support. Sasuke then mentioned, "I think I know somebody who can help us sell it."

Fugaku agreed, "That sounds like a good plan. Shisui already said he would use his Sharingan to get fake identities for us. Once that's done, I'll register our company."

Sasuke added, "Okay. By the way, once Orochimaru finds a way to replicate the phoenix tears, we can sell a weaker version and gain influence in the supernatural world."

Itachi suggested, "Why don't we enter the entertainment industry, especially since Izumi will be in it?" Fugaku considered the idea, "We'll need connections for that, but we can explore that direction in the future."

Sasuke then informed Itachi and Shisui, "Let me show you around Kyoto later, at least the Yokai side. But first, I need to see the lab I asked Karin to make for me."

Shisui agreed, "Sure, and I'll ask Yasaka if she has any recommendations for the ANBU in the mean time." Sasuke nodded and told his parents and everyone good-bye. Now, everyone has their own business to handle since returning.

Sasuke was now in a secluded area, near Orochimaru's location. He had his lab next to Orochimaru's, as he knew the former Sannin could help him with any issues he might encounter.

As Sasuke walked in, he saw Karin lying on a couch, engrossed in reading manga. He blinked twice and walked over, peeping his head over the book. Karin noticed him and immediately jumped up, hugging him tightly. "You're finally back," she exclaimed.

Sasuke sat next to her and replied, "Yes, and did you accomplish what I asked for?" Karin eagerly nodded, "Yes, I finished it the second day after you left. I made sure you have every equipment you need for a lab."

Sasuke then asked, "Thank you. So, will you be my assistant?" Karin replied with excitement, "Yep, I'm really looking forward to working with you."

Sasuke then shared some news, "Okay, Aunt Kushina told me to let you know that when she comes here, she'll help with your training." Karin's eyes lit up, "Ohh, I'm so happy! Aunt Kushina will teach me."

Sasuke's expression turned serious, "I know this world, especially here, is safe. But I hope you won't slack in your training. I want you to at least be able to continue defend yourself. Everyone here has been a shinobi since they were a child, and it's tiring. In this world, we don't have that burden, but there are still many dangers."

Karin was deeply touched by Sasuke's concern and replied sincerely, "Okay, I promise I won't slack in my training."

After visiting his lab with Karin, Sasuke already had a batch of Hashirama cells ready for cultivation to counteract Shisui's Mangekyo Sharingan's blindness.

'I wonder what father will do. I should probably cultivate an extra set of Hashirama cells for him if he does not want Itachi eyes.' he thought

However, one Sasuke main reason in becoming a scientist was seeking a way to bypass unlocking the Mangekyo Sharingan through trauma. Especially since the Second Hokage imparted some of his knowledge to him.

With a rough outline of his future projects in mind, Sasuke decided it was time to show Shisui and Itachi around Kyoto.

"Did you find any good recruits for ANBU from Yasaka?" Sasuke asked Shisui. After a moment of thought, Shisui replied, "A few. However, you'll need to provide me with some ninjutsu scrolls. They have chakra, but they don't use it like us. I'll start by teaching them chakra control."

Sasuke nodded, affirming that he would collect all the techniques stored in his shadow dimension when they returned.

Itachi, who had been silent, added, "You told us there are a lot of rogues in Japan. I think it's best if we take care of them now. It will help us become familiar with the new power system and fighting styles of this world."

Sasuke agreed, "Sure, if you want, tonight ot during the week we can go hunt some stray devils. Though, arrogance seems to be thick in this world. most likely their long lifespans have probably made them believe they are superior."

The trio continued to stroll through Kyoto, specifically the supernatural side. Shisui remarked, "You're very popular, Sasuke." Sasuke replied with annoyance, "Yes, ever since I saved Yasaka, they view me as a hero. I can't avoid it, as it's what Yasaka wanted."

Itachi pointed out, "Other supernatural races most likely know about you. We should start setting up ANBU quickly. There are probably many spies in this dimension."

Sasuke agreed, "Yes, I've already encountered a few suspicious individuals. I simply wiped their memories and moved along."

As they walked through the bustling streets, someone called out to Sasuke. He turned around and saw a tanned woman with grey wolf ears but also, her features were sharp and heroic.

"Yo, Sasuke, it's been a while," greeted Akira. Sasuke glanced around and replied, "Oh, it's you, Akira. Indeed, it has been a while."

Sasuke then pointed at his brother and cousin. He said, "This is Itachi Uchiha my big brother and that is Shisui Uchiha our older cousin."
