Chapter 48: Meeting Naruto

Sasuke decided to alert Naruto, contemplating how to do so. He then briefly released all of his Six Paths chakra.

As Sasuke unleashed his chakra, the area around Konoha shook for a moment before settling down. Everyone felt their bodies briefly tighten.

Satisfied with the result, Sasuke quickly retreated and moved away from Konoha. He decided that both Naruto and himself would meet at the only place they both knew.

Meanwhile, Naruto, who had taken a few days off from missions and was casually using the bathroom, he sensed the immense chakra presence. He recognized the chakra realizing it rivaled his own and its familiarity. Naruto thought to himself, 'Tch, I was taking a shit and this guy decides to come back now.'

Despite his frustration, Naruto couldn't help but smile. He swiftly left his apartment, activated his Kurama chakra mode, and dashed, following Sasuke's trail.

As Naruto raced through the forest, his heart pounded with excitement. He couldn't wait to meet his best friend. Naruto thought, 'I'm going to beat the shit out of him for making me search for so long.'

Now on top of Madara's statue in the Valley of the End stood a silhouette, specifically Sasuke. He glanced at the rebuilt statue and rolled his eyes, thinking, 'Why did they rebuild it again? Couldn't it have been me and Naruto now?'

Sensing Naruto's presence approaching, Sasuke projected what was happening in this world to his shadow dimension, allowing everyone to witness the reunion.

Finally, Naruto arrived and stood on Hashirama's statue. He pointed angrily at Sasuke and yelled, "I was taking a shit and had to come find you. Such great timing, teme!"

Sasuke, hearing Naruto's words, furrowed his eyebrows, knowing that everyone in his dimension must be laughing at the situation. Coldly, he responded, "You took your time coming here. It seems your senses have dulled in this peaceful world."

Naruto greeted Sasuke with a mix of relief and determination. "Whatever, I am glad you are back," he said, his voice carrying a hint of nostalgia.

Sasuke's eyes narrowed, and he smiled coldly. Immediately, his eyes underwent a transformation as he activated his Sharingan with three tomoe. The wind blew, causing his hair to sway and his eyes glowed, revealing the power of his Sharingan and Rinnesharingan.

Naruto, witnessing Sasuke's Rinnesharingan, couldn't contain his astonishment. He turned to Kurama, seeking answers. "How did this Sasuke get the Rinnesharingan? Even Hagoromo only possessed the Rinnegan." Kurama was just as bewildered as Naruto he remained silent.

Suddenly, Sasuke's laughter filled the air as his demeanor turned cold and manic. "You have defeated me once, Naruto. But now, this time is different, and I will finish what I started. "

Naruto's shock was palpable as he loudly declared, "I will not allow you to shatter the hard-earned peace of the world. I have defeated you before, and I will do it again, even if I have to render you both armless." Sasuke chuckled in response, " Why don't you try then deadlast."

In the shadow dimension, confusion enveloped the others as they questioned Sasuke's sudden change in behavior. Weren't they supposed to reunite with Naruto in Konoha? Itachi sighed and said, "He is purposely acting this way. Otherwise, he wouldn't have projected this scene into the real world."

Back in the real world, Sasuke, no longer feigning his intentions, observed Naruto. Sasuke, with his Sharingan spinning, deactivated it as he gracefully leaped off Madara's statue and landed on the water's surface.

Naruto followed suit, their eyes locked in a fierce stare-down. Both infused chakra into their feet and charged at each other in a blur. Naruto threw a swift punch, but Sasuke easily dodged it with a casual tilt of his head. "You need to try harder," Sasuke taunted with full confidence.

Naruto didn't back down and launched a kick at Sasuke's stomach, but Sasuke blocked it effortlessly with one hand. They both felt the excitement coursing through their veins as they danced across the water, engaging in hand-to-hand combat. Sasuke skillfully dodged the attacks from Naruto's four shadow clones, countering each strike with precision.

Amid the intense battle, Sasuke sensed someone behind him and quickly twisted his body, sending a kick towards the clone. It vanished in a puff of smoke, but Sasuke knew that Naruto himself was in the air, preparing a Rasengan. With a cunning smile, Sasuke turned his body into mist, vanishing before Naruto's attack could connect.

Naruto crashed into the water, and as he tried to recover, Sasuke reappeared in front of him. He grabbed Naruto by the collar and delivered a powerful kick to his stomach, sending him bouncing across the water's surface.

Sasuke grew annoyed at Naruto's nonchalant attitude. "Why did you not fight seriously? I haven't had a good fight in two years," he grumbled. Naruto laughed, his eyes sparkling with mischief. "I know you the best, Sasuke. You were just pretending, teme."

Sasuke scoffed, his annoyance fading, and approached Naruto, extending a hand to help him up. "You have really let yourself go. While I have grown stronger, it seems you've lost most of your Six Path chakra. I've already replenished my entire reserve," he remarked, a hint of superiority in his voice.

Naruto looked away, a hint of sadness in his eyes. "Yeah, I realize my skills have deteriorated a little," he admitted, his voice tinged with disappointment. Sasuke rolled his eyes, and spoke in exasperation. "I was missing because I've been in a new world for two years, Naruto. When I arrived I battled against overwhelming odds, and nearly died from blood loss and chakra depletion."

Naruto stepped closer to Sasuke, a curious expression on his face. "You seem different," he observed. Sasuke placed his hand on Naruto's face, pushing him away fiercely "And you are still annoying, dobe," he retorted, a small smirk playing on his lips. Naruto's irritation flared, and he shot back, "Shut up, teme."

Naruto, feeling a sudden epiphany, yelled out in realization, "You found love!" He jumped up and exclaimed, "It is so unfair. How did this gloomy motherfucker get a girlfriend?"

Sasuke, taken aback by Naruto's outburst, responded, "How the hell did you figure that out?" Naruto scrunched his eyebrows and stuck out his tongue playfully. "I can feel and see that your chakra has changed. It's no longer shrouded in darkness," he explained.

Sasuke sighed and admitted, "Well, you're correct, but I came back to reunite with someone." Naruto, still annoyed that Sasuke had managed to find a girlfriend, waved his hand dismissively and nonchalantly asked, "Yeah, yeah, who are you going to reunite me with?"

A/N: Finally the runion. If we reach 350 powerstone I will release another chapter. Suggest some characters for Sasuke and comapany should fight in the God's Summit. Besided Shiva and Indra, suggest others. I will also be basing some of the characters form Record of Ragnarok
