4 Chapter 4

I was, for once, not on the training grounds. Instead, I was just sitting on a couch, next to my brother who was leaning back in his seat, waiting for our father.

Seriously, for people who could teleport, devils took their sweet time.

"So... how is your training coming along?"

My brother asked as he glanced at me with a smile on his face.

"It's going fine, I got the scythe down a while ago."

Sirzechs just blinked and broke out into a smile full of delight, making me blink in turn, it wasn't hard, it was easy as breathing actually.

I manipulated mana and spells often enough to make things like "The Power Of Destruction" seem like playdough.

"What about you, how's the satan business going?"

I questioned while running my eyes across the room. A sigh escaped my brother's lips as I felt him slump in his chair.

"It's been getting annoying, Lord Bael is not pleased that you aren't attending the Bael Heirs rating game matches."

Ah, that old coot. Yeah, he was one annoying bastard. Way too prideful.

Me not attending the rating games must be like a slap to the face, but it also affects my house negatively.

If the head of the Gremory house can't get his son to attend a rating game, is he really suited for his position?

...Too bad for them, I didn't really care.

"And why should that concern you?"

I asked offhandedly, no matter how much I hated politics, they still found a way in my life.

"Hm?"

I leaned my head on my knuckles, shifting my body so that I could rest my elbow on one of the chair's arms.

"Aren't you the strongest, brother? Why do you let some power-hungry politician talk to you like he does?"

My brother just tilted his head toward me and let out a thoughtful hum.

"He holds a large political sway in the devil society..."

"And yet, he is a high-class devil, Didn't they fall like flies in the civil war?"

I glanced at Sirzechs who, for once looked serious.

"You are still young Damian, you don't know what you are talking about."

I looked at him for a moment, before letting out a huff of exasperation and closing my eyes. Looks like I would need that Lucifer position after all.

Sooner or later.

If I remembered correctly, we outnumbered the angels and fallen angels combined, but the only reason we weren't at war was because all three sides were nearly whipped out.

And they couldn't risk the chance of an outside force invading while they were recovering... The Satans acted like a deterrent, as did the arch angels and twelve-winged fallen. But the most effective deterrent was "God".

Silence descended in the room as minutes passed, until with a flare of mana, a red magic circle appeared in the room, revealing our parents, who looked happy.

We both straightened up and waited for them to speak. Our father was the one who spoke up.

"You are going to have another sibling!"

Oh... Oh shit.

___

I guess this is as good a time as any...

I walked toward my father's study room, hands behind my back. Nearing his door, I knocked three times, waiting for a response.

"Come in."

Opening the door, I spotted the man writing something on a piece of paper. He looked up at me and put his pen on the table, paying his full attention to me.

"What is it, Damian?"

I brought out a file that was completely fake, made by yours truly, and handed it to my father.

He grabbed it curiously and looked it over a few times before raising an eyebrow and glancing at me.

"... You don't want to reincarnate her because you like her appearance, do you?"

I blinked and deadpanned.

"Father, did you really read the file?"

He blinked and looked over the file again and realization dawned on his face.

"I see, naturally create ice, that is impressive indeed, the hair might be the result of her magic mutation... Very well, Damian, would you like an escort?"

I just shook my head and grabbed the paper he extended back to me. I knew the "Teleportation" spell.

"Very well then, if anything happens... Well, make sure there is no evidence, as humans would say."

He just shrugged and went back to the paperwork. I nodded and went back outside of the room, closing the door behind me.

With a flex of my mana, I was gone.

One moment I was in the underworld, the next I was somewhere in the human world... I didn't really specify...

I looked around at the mountains and clear sky... And snow...

Ah... this was perfect.

I held up my hand, a red magic circle appearing on top of it. With a simple thought, The circle expanded and floated in front of me in the air, slowly descending to the ground...

Was... was she really doing this?

The circle hit the ground and immediately sprung up, leaving a copy of the circle on the ground...

Yeah, she was doing this.

The two circles came together, one ascending and the other descending, before parting ways, releasing a chilling wave of cold air that washed over me.

I just deadpanned as a Tall, beautiful young woman walked out of the two magic circles. Her long white hair was reaching past her waist and some bangs were braided around her head.

She opened her eyes, her white eyes surveying the area around her. She took a look at me, smirked, and placed a hand on her hip, leaning to the side.

"Well... Aren't you cute?"

Yup, not summoning the others until I'm older.
