23 Visiting the Yasaka Shrine
In a dimension outside the reach of almost the entirety of the supernatural world –resided a being that was amused by the recent incidents.
He sat on a throne –one that most would not refer to as one, but was still a throne.
A seat made entirely of skeletal pieces and battle equipment –was the throne of the Greek God of the Underworld.
"Lord Hades!"
A Grim Reaper, hooded in a blackish cloak ran towards the being.
"The Grim Reapers that went–"
"I know." Hades said. "I felt their connection to me severing."
The reaper remembered that the god of the underworld felt the connection with every Grim Reaper that followed him.
Through their eyes he could see what they saw.
"I saw what happened to them." He spoke. "But it was not something that I ordered. They heard that I wanted the spear and ran off in the hopes to find it."
The reaper nodded. "Every reaper wishes to please you, my lord."
Hades stared at the reaper with his hollow eyes, sending shivers through the reaper's body.
"Their act did not please me in any way, Pluto." Hades said. "Their action was an act of aggression and now I will have to explain to Inari Ōkami that it was not me who instructed them."
Pluto understood the situation. He also knew the tense situation between Hades and Inari, which meant that this incident was adding fuel to the fire.
"But worry not." Hades said. "Inari knows that she is not capable of winning against me. So, she will not do anything reckless."
Pluto was aware that his liege was one of the strongest beings out there –much more so than even the king of the Olympian gods, Zeus.
"But there is one thing that interests me." He said. "The boy who took down the reapers."
Pluto did not see the boy as unlike Hades, he did not possess the ability of shared vision.
"He took down the reapers using a weapon that was fatal against them." Hades said. "It didn't feel the same as those church weapons, but it did have holy power. Besides, the boy has the ability to manipulate light."
Pluto contemplated. "Is he related to the church or the angels?"
"I did not sense any form of connection to the angels from him. Church… I do not know but he had nothing on him that symbolized his affiliation to the church." Hades spoke. "So, it is very unlikely."
"A boy that has a holy weapon and can manipulate light but is not related to the angels.." Pluto was amazed. "There are not many like that."
Hades nodded. "Indeed. If he appears again in my plans, I will have to look into him. But for now, lets focus on what we formerly decided on."
Pluto bowed. "As you wish, my lord."

After bidding farewell to Inari, Kento went to the Kiyomizu temple.
But in truth, it was not exactly the Kiyomizu temple that their family specifically visited.
It was a shrine that was located past the main halls of Kiyomizudera –The Jishu Shrine.
The shrine was known to bless married couples and people searching for love.
Their parents always came to this place together, but now he stood there alone.
Sighing at the sad reality of the situation, he decided to visit the Yasaka Shrine.
The shrine was dedicated to the god of seas and storms –Susanoo, alongside his consort Kushinada-hime and their eight children.
He learnt that the shrine was also looked after by the current leader of the Kyoto Youkai Faction, Yasaka.
"A nine tailed fox, huh?"
Nine tailed foxes are mythical creatures famous in East Asia, especially China, Japan and Korea.
Kento decided to walk to the Yasaka Shrine as it was barely two kilometers from the Kiyomizu temple.
It took him a little over twenty minutes as he enjoyed the views and shops on his walk. Else with his speed, he could have reached there in barely a few minutes.
As he reached the place, he sighed.
"Empty again, huh?"
This time, he knew that it was empty specifically for him as Inari said that she would inform Yasaka about him.
As he walked towards the shrine, he saw a tiny fox standing near the stairs with its tail wagging.
He didn't know if foxes did that or it was specific to that fox, but as he knew that it was waiting for him –he decided to follow the fox.

'She is very young.' Kento thought as he followed her.
Inari and the fox that he followed previously were thousands of years old.
'But not every being is eons old.'
Walking through the stairs, he noticed that the atmosphere around him changed. Slowly but surely, it was as if he walked into an entirely different reality.
And it turned out to be true.
The moment he took the final step, he saw the fox in front of him transform.
The fox transformed into a rather petite girl with blonde hair and an adorable face –quite fitting for a kitsune child.
"Welcome, Mr. Kento." She said in the most adorable voice, which melted Kento's heart.
'Awww'
He gave her the brightest smile. "Thank you Miss–"
Kunou's eyes widened at being called a miss.
She liked it.
Grinning at the boy, she replied. "Kunou!"
"Alright Miss Kunou, Kami Inari said that Lady Yasaka would meet me when I visit the shrine. Is she around?"
Kunou nodded strongly. "She is. Please follow me, she is waiting for you."
Taking quick steps with her little legs, she walked as fast as she could while guiding Kento.
The moment he walked inside the place, he saw many beings with animalistic features, especially ears or beaks, standing near the walls.
They gave standing bows as the duo walked past them.
At first, Kento thought that they were greeting him.
But soon he realized that they were bowing to the little girl in front of him.
'Is she related to Yasaka?'
Thinking of the possibility, he followed her.
He saw a lot of Youkai on the way, impressed by each of their status.
Many of them were on the level of middle class devils, maybe even higher.
But as they reached the main hall of the place, she heard Kunou say.
"He is here, mother!"
As she said that, the shoji to the room opened.
"Mother?"
Kento was shocked but before he could question further, what he saw left him speechless.
"Wow…"
Looking at the woman that she called mother, Kento was left speechless.
Because in front of him was one of the most stunning woman he had seen in his entire life.

Inari = High Kami = Only one strong skill because under certain 'conditions' that skill can be world scale.
Inari is politically strong not physically. (more influence than some of the gods stronger than her.)
High Kami is ranked lower as there are Kami rankings like Greater Kami and Supreme Kami. A normal kami is basically any Japanese being with divine power (even if negligible).
