"Where did you learn to fight like that?" Sona asked. "To be able to push back Koneko who is a rook, you have impressive skill and strength."

"I lost before he used his last strike." Koneko sighed. "I used more demonic energy than I promised, hence I lost even before you attacked."

"I just got lucky." Kento smiled. "If you used your full strength, I would have lost immediately."

Koneko shook her head. "Even then you would have been able to protect yourself. Your skills are impressive."

"Which means you are capable of protecting yourself from those fallen angels if they attack again." Sona said. "Despite that, try not to confront them and always first try to find an escape route if you see them."

"So, I am free from being monitored all the time?" Kento smirked.

Sighing at his statement, she nodded. "Yes."

"I'll report the result to Rias." Koneko said. "Thank you for agreeing to the spar."

Koneko gave a small bow, at which Kento nodded.

Standing bows was the norm in this place, but Kento just couldn't seem to get used to it.

"Now since we have this out of the way, we can discuss the student council issue."

"The student council is incharge for a lot of things." Kento asked. "So, what role do I have?"

"We are at a shortage of disciplinary representatives. Currently, Saji is the only one going around and monitoring stuff and with such a massive student population, he cannot do it alone." She explained. "So, you will be one of the disciplinary representatives."

That was a good role in his opinion. He preferred an active role over one where he had to sit and do paperwork.

So, this was perfect for him.

"So, when do I start?"

Sona smiled at his question. "Right now."

Kento felt his head spinning.

All the work that he had to do just to catch some perverted kids was more annoying than he thought.

"I honestly thought that the perverted trio were the only perverts in Kuoh." He sighed. "Guess how wrong I was."

Kuoh had a huge population, and it was understandable that there were quite a few `naughty` kids out there.

What he did not expect was the amount.

And not just boys, but girls as well.

Apparently a lot of those girls were secretly taking pics of Kiba and even stealing his gym clothes.

"How did he not notice it?"

It was stupid to even consider that he did not notice it. He was a devil with a high sensory ability.

"Did it enjoy it?"

It was the only possibility in his mind. But then again…

"I thought he was gay."

The boy showed no interest in girls, even with so many pretty girls being after him. 

However, he would be lucky that if the issue of perverts were the only ones.

Hooligans, property destroyers, thieves were only a few of the annoyances they had to deal with.

And when he met Saji, he saw how exhausted the boy was.

"I wonder why he agreed to serve Sona?"

Kento considered Sona to be one of the `good` devils, or at least one that knew how to talk. So, it made sense that someone chose her.

However, everyone had at least one reason to serve someone.

"Well, he promised to invite me for a drink anyways."

Not an alcoholic one as it would be considered illegal if they drank.

'It is the intention that matters anyways.'

But just as he was going through the annoyance of a day he had, he got a call.

"Unknown?"

He had no clue who the number belonged to. And most people would ignore such calls, but Kento didn't.

"Hello?"

``Kento?`` He realized the voice immediately. ``It's me Rias.`` 

This call just rose a lot of questions in his head.

He never gave his personal number to anyone. And even in the school records, only his home number was listed. 

Secondly, he never expected Rias to call him out of the blue.

But as she continued to speak, he could understand the situation.

``Issei is in trouble.``

Issei Hyoudou was many things. 

A pervert, a bad student, a rather dull guy.

However, if there was anything that he was not –it was being a guy that let unjust things happen to just people.

"Oya?" A young man in clerical clothing said.

He had white hair with red eyes and a rather creepy smile on his face as he stood staring at the ponytailed boy.

"L-Let her go!"

Issei knew that the man was dangerous, but he could not let him drag away the innocent girl that he met not long ago.

"Is that false bravado that I see?" The man's smile grew wider to see Issei standing against him.

"Put her down, you freak!" Issei shouted, seeing the blonde beauty lying unconscious atop the man's shoulder.

The girl that laid unconscious was a Sacred Gear wielder who could heal others, no matter their race. 

When Issei first met her, he was blown away by her beauty –and her innocence. 

He hoped that he could introduce her to Rias, but he did not expect to run into her when she was being kidnapped by a weird man.

"Gahaha!" The man laughed maniacally. "You called me a freak? Me!! I am Freed Sellzen you dickwart!"

The man who identified himself as Freed Sellzen roared at Issei's insult. 

"And you!" He pointed the gun that he held towards Issei. "You have no right to insult me! You ungodly cunt!"

Freed immediately sensed the demonic power that Issei emitted. It was not very strong, but someone with high sensitivity like Freed could easily discern a devil from a human. 

Sensing the danger, Issei immediately summoned his Sacred Gear –a red gauntlet with a green orb at the center.

"A Sacred Gear?" Seeing this, Freed was shocked. "Why does a bat fucker like you have one?"

He was furious, but he was also excited.

"Doesn't matter." He grinned. "Because I will be chopping your arm off!"

Yet, just as they were about to lunge at each other –they heard a voice. 

"This guy sure swears a lot."

Kento realized that the man in front of him was not going to be an easy opponent. 

'Two `A+` skills is not a simple thing.'

He had not seen many people with two `A+` skills. 

Rias, Sona and a few others being the only ones.

'And now him.'

"Who the fuck are you?"

Freed roared, as he saw Kento standing near the entrance of the church.

"Kento!" Issei was shocked to see Kento emerging out of nowhere. "What are you doing here?"

"I am here because your boss will be late for her arrival and she was worried sick about you."

Truth be told, he did not know what was more important than saving her servant's life. But he also knew that she was a devil heiress and had a lot of stuff to deal with.

"You are not a devil." Freed frowned. "Why are you helping him!"

Kento had no clue what the guy's deal was, neither did he have any interest in figuring out the reason.

But he knew one thing.

He had to defeat the guy in front of him.

Kento saw that his rewards had started to get much underwhelming than before. 

'Maybe my newbie bonus has run out.'

"K-Kento." Issei said. "It is dangerous. You should not be here."

Kento raised an eyebrow. 'Did not know that he was such a good guy.'

"You are in just as much danger as I am in, buddy." He said, being fully aware that Issei's skills were even worse than his.

"Shut the fuck up!" Freed yelled. "And die!"

Without a second of delay, Freezed rushed at him –Throwing the girl that was on his shoulder to the ground. 

"Asia!" Issei gasped. "You monster!"

Kento immediately realized that Freed was a speed monster, much like Koneko.

'But that is good.'

By the time Freed pulled the trigger, Kento already moved to the side.

'Because I can react to that speed.'

Using {Light Manipulation}, he could increase his speed. But it was difficult to do so in continuous successions.

So, to not have to bother with more quick attacks, Kento immediately went on the offensive.

[Samael's Dagger]

Swooping in towards Freed, he swung his dagger.

'No one can react with guns at such range.'

However, there was one issue.

"*Clank*"

Freed wasn't a gunsman.

Kento frowned before jumping back.

Freed immediately summoned a sword to counter his strike.

'Should have expected this with an A+ sportsmanship skill.'

"Gahaha! A swordfight!" Freed laughed. "I love that!"

Immediately swinging the sword the he held at Kento, he tried to shoot him with the gun that was on his other hand.

"*Tsk*"

Kento had no choice but to make distance between them.

{Flight}

He shot up, realizing the massive skill difference between their swordsmanship.

"Now now." Freed grinned. "Flying away is foul play, you son of a bitch~"

Kento could not help but be amazed at the guy's personality.

'He is a total psychopath.' He frowned. 'But I don't have time for this shit.'

{Water Manipulation}

Using his favorite combo, he launched a destructive attack at Freed.

But the madman simply grinned. 

Kento's eyes widened when he saw the man's sword changing from a normal sword to a sword made of light.

And with the same grin on his face, Freed slashed towards the arrows –creating an arc of light that immediately vaporized the arrows.

"You are a magician?" Freed asked. "Doesn't matter because I will be slicing your throat."

But just as he was about to launch another swing at Kento, he was stopped.

"Ugh!"

A green orb of light hit him directly at his back –making him shout in pain.

"Who the fuck!"

As he turned, he saw Issei holding the gauntlet towards him, making it clear as to who shot him.

"That was for hurting Asia, jerk!" Issei said as he loaded up another shot, but Freed wasn't going to let that happen.

He pointed the gun and shot towards Issei, but this was all the time that Kento needed.

{Flight}

Accelerating towards the light sword wielder, Kento immediately used his strongest combat ability. 

{Horo-Kanu}

"Ah!"

Landing a clean hit on his hip, he temporarily immobilized the mad man.

Before dashing back and throwing one of his recently obtained items.

Kento smirked, and pointed at Issei. "Fetch the girl."

Issei immediately nodded, and ran towards Asia.

Freed was in too much pain to move, while his movements were also restricted by the potion.

"Fuck you bitch!"

"Good bye~" Kento smiled, as he finally used his other skill.

{Light Manipulation}

Creating an orb of light he shot it towards Freed, whose eyes widened at the display.

"How did you–"

But his sentence was left unfinished as it landed directly on his head, knocking him out instantly.

Kento took a sigh of relief, seeing that the fight was finally over.

"Is she alright?" He asked, as he walked towards Asia.

Issei nodded, with a look of relief on his face. 

"She is." He smiled. "She is just unconscious, but there are no injuries on her. Other than the little wound from that bastard throwing her."

Kento smiled. "That's a relief." 

Turning to look at freed, he said. "We should probably tie him up and wait for Rias to arrive. Plus we need to get her to safety."

Issei agreed, but Kento had another question.

"But who is she that this shitface was trying to kidnap her?"

Issei took a deep breath. "She is Asia Argento. A saintess from–"

*Boom!* 

But his sentence was halted as a loud explosion occurred right next to them.

Kento barely avoided the explosion, as he took Issei and Asia in his arms before flying up.

"We meet again, Kento Yamazaki."

Kento recognized the voice immediately. And as he turned around, he saw a very familiar face amidst a bunch of people.

"Kalawarner…"

"Yuuma…"

Kento and Issei said simultaneously.
