3 A New Friend
"Why don't you introduce yourself, Kento?"
Kento was a little awkward at having so many eyes suddenly directed at him.
"Aww, he is so pretty~"
"Do you think he is a model?"
"He looks like one!"
"So gay…"
"He is one of the prettiest boys I have seen."
"He looks like that one actor from the survival show!"
And the whispers did not help much.
He noticed a lot of eyes on him, some entranced while some hostile.
Hostile being the three boys from before.
'I wonder what's the deal with them.'
Clearing his throat once, Kento decided to introduce himself.
"Good Morning, everyone. I am Kento Yamazaki and I have recently moved to Kuoh, so I don't know much about the rules of this place or the norms. So, I hope you all can help me with them." He said with a smile. "And I also like to play quite a lot of games, so if anyone is interested they can always come to me for them."
It wasn't a lie. Kento did like games in his past life and even now, he saw a lot of game cartridges laying around his room. And from that he could only guess the amount of games he would have on his PC.
'How good it is to be young again.'
At the introduction, everyone clapped which Kento guessed to be a regional thing.
As far as he remembered, there wasn't much of an introduction that students had to make in his previous schools.
"Thank you, Kento." He learnt that the teacher's name was Miyazaki. "Why don't you go and take a seat next to Aika. The seat next to her is empty."
As Kento looked over towards the girl in question, he saw a pretty girl with unkempt hair and spectacles looking at him with a blush.
But to his surprise, she wasn't looking at his face unlike the other girls. She was looking at his waist which confused him greatly.
At a glance, she did not stand out much. But Kento had met enough girls in the past to know that she was quite pretty and it was just her hair that didn't do her much of a favor.
Nodding at the suggestion, he walked towards the girl. But this move made the other girls uncomfortable.
"He is sitting next to her…"
"Why her…"
He heard the whispers around him, which seemingly made the girl a little sad but she immediately got her smile back.
He was certain that it was not a genuine smile and rather a forced one.
This made him a little sad, but in order to not make her uncomfortable –he gave her the brightest smile.
"Hi!"
He greeted, which made her blush a little.
"Hey."
She replied a little shyly.
All these reactions made Kento wonder if his appearance was even prettier than he previously imagined. But then he remembered that this school just recently turned co-ed.
It was only a little while back that the girls had male classmates and given the current ratio, he understood them a little.
"I am Kento." He said, extending his hand.
"Aika Kiryuu." The girl shook his hand without losing her smile.
Kento noticed how the girl had sleepy eyes behind her glasses, which he found rather cute.
Kento wanted to know more about the students around him, so he decided to use his skill. And this time, he used it on Aika.

'Huh? Magic?' Kento was taken aback. 'Do most of the people here have special abilities? And why are almost all of them sealed?'
He remembered seeing the pony-tailed boy's skill and it said Sacred Gear which was sealed. And now Aika.
He was not certain what Size Scouting was, but he automatically associated it with geometry.
As the class started, Aika decided to whisper to him.
"What made you transfer so late?"
"Err…" Kento felt a bit weird answering that, given he also wanted to know the real reason. But he did know why this body enrolled so late. "My father passed away not long ago, so my mom and I decided to shift here. Apparently, my aunt lives in Kuoh but she is out of town for the time being."
This made Aika a bit embarrassed and sad. "I-I am sorry."
Kento shook his head with a smile. "It's alright. I guess it was a good choice to transfer. The school seems fun and the morning scene was quite entertaining."
This made Aika sigh. "That's the perverted trio."
"Pardon?" Kento was taken aback by the name.
"Issei Hyoudou, Matsuda Kaminari, Motohama Tanaka… They are called the perverted trio as they have nothing but dirt in their heads."
That was quite an interesting piece of information for Kento. But remembering their skills, it made sense to him.

'That's sudden.' Kento was a little surprised by the quest screen. But he found that quest relatively doable and considering the reward was a skill, he was all up for it.
'Exclusive things are always good.'
"Hey, Aika." He suddenly called out her name, making her look at him. "Since I am new to this place and don't know many people… Do you mind showing me around when you are free?"
Aika was taken aback by his sudden request, but that didn't mean she was going to reject it.
"M-Me?" She was still a little surprised. "Why me? I-I mean sure I can show you around, but you could have asked anyone and they would have agreed."
She said while pointing towards the girls that were looking at him with dreamy eyes while the rest looked at her with angry ones.
Kento shook his head. "They look rather scary."
"That they are…" Aika mumbled lightly, but Kento heard that.
"And you seemed like a rather nice girl." He said with a perfect smile. "That is why I asked you. So, would you be able to show me around, Miss Kiryuu?"
She blushed heavily at the way he took her name. But after a few seconds of thinking about it, she agreed.
"Sure."

Time passed by quickly and highschool classes were relatively easy for Kento to understand. But sadly he couldn't focus on the first class as he had to take a moment for himself to process the skill he obtained.
'A sex skill…' Kento was quite shocked. 'This system keeps on surprising me.'
But he was rather happy. 'In just one day I managed to obtain three skills and thirty skill points. I am not sure if this will continue or if it is a bonus for being a newbie.'
But whatever it was, he was happy with it.
"Sorry to keep you waiting."
The reason he was standing near the cafeteria alone was to meet Aika. As promised, she was going to show him around the campus.
"Here." Kento passed her a cup of coffee that he ordered.
Aika did not expect to receive anything from him, so she found it rather nice. Truth be told, she was still shocked that he asked her to show him around the campus.
But she liked it.
'As long as those girls don't do anything…' She tightened her left hand, which went unnoticed by Kento.
"So where do we go first?"
"The closest from here is the sports room and from there we can go to the library then to the different club rooms." She suggested.
"Sounds like a plan." But what interested him the most was the introduction of clubs. "And what are the clubs that you all have in here?"
Aika paused for a moment. "Oh god!"
"Something wrong?" Kento was confused by her reaction.
"You are new so you don't know." She shook her head. "We have a lot of clubs… Like a lot-lot. And you are quite good-looking so a lot of girls will come to recruit you."
"Uh, thank you, I guess?" He chuckled.
"No, you don't understand. This is a massive hassle. So, I advise you to select a club by yourself before any of them approach you." She suggested.
"Works, I guess." He shrugged.
She sighed. "But well, let's show you around for now."
She smiled before gulping down the coffee. "Ugh! Hot!"
This made Kento laugh out loud. "Careful."
Saying this, he passed her his handkerchief.
"T-Thanks."
But as they were talking, a certain figure was looking at them from above.
A figure with beautiful red hair and curves that the perverted trio would die for. But she seemed rather uninterested in the entire school ordeal.
"What seems to have caught your eyes, Rias?"
The redhead didn't turn, instead she kept her sight on the duo.
"Did we receive any new students, Akeno."
The girl in question was a beautiful blackette with one of the biggest bust sizes in the entire school.
At least, according to the Three Size Scouter.
The girl put a finger on her chin. "Sona did say something about a transferred underclassmen." She smirked. "Why you ask? Is he cute?"
"He is." Rias answered.
"Oh, my!" Akeno's smirk grew bigger as she looked down to see the boy Rias was looking at. "He is indeed handsome."
"There is something odd about the boy." Rias frowned. "Is Sona sure that he is not supernatural?"
Akeno shook her head. "She didn't say anything about that." She became rather serious at the mention of a supernatural. "And I know that Sona doesn't make any mistakes when it comes to such things."
"She doesn't." Rias's frown grew bigger. "I don't know… There seems to be something off about him."
"I can keep an eye on him, if you want?" Akeno said while biting her lips. "He looks rather pleasing to look at."
Rias sighed. "No, I have another task for you. Let Koneko keep an eye on him. And if you notice anything weird, notify me."
Akeno was a little disappointed at not getting the job, but she agreed nonetheless.
"Alright."
Rias shook her head. "Maybe I am overthinking, but I have a bad feeling about him."
Akeno placed her hand on her friend's shoulder. "You are just stressed from the Riser thing."
Rias showed Akeno a sad smile. "Maybe you are right, Akeno. Maybe you are right."
