It was possible for me to improve my strength right now, and that is precisely what I did.

I brought up the stats window just as I heard the desperate and horrified groans of zombies beginning to congregate a few hundred feet in front of me on the middle of the street.

I promptly discarded enough points in WIS to get it to fifty, and then I proceeded to run away from the zombies.

[Congratulations!]

[You have achieved the impressive feat of reaching level 50 in Wisdom! As a reward for your dedication and hard work, you have unlocked several new abilities and affinities that will greatly enhance your skills.

You can now access the "Mana Regeneration" skill, a powerful passive ability that enables rapid recovery of your maximum health points. This skill is only granted to individuals of unique heritage and will boost your MP regeneration speed by 100%.

Additionally, you have unlocked the "Basic Elemental Knowledge" ability, a passive skill that enhances your fundamental familiarity with the elements.

With this skill, you have acquired a deeper understanding of yourself and the world around you, and the innate ability to control the elements of wind, fire, lightning, earth, and water.

The cost of element-based talents has been cut in half, while the damage output of elemental talents has been increased by 100%.

As a further reward, your request for Fire Affinity, Lightning Affinity, Water Affinity, and Earth Affinity have all been satisfied! You have also been bestowed with Wind Affinity, providing you with even more control over the elements.

And finally, the "Mana Perception" ability is now available to you once you reach level 50 in WIS! With this active skill, you will gain the ability to detect and comprehend the flow of mana from all living persons into the surroundings around them.

This expertise is a result of your extensive knowledge and training, and the fact that mana is present in every living thing. The range of this ability is 20 metres, and it comes at a cost of 20 MP. ]

As I continued to revel in my newfound power, I couldn't help but feel a sense of awe at the sheer amount of knowledge that had been bestowed upon me.

The elements of wind, fire, lightning, water, and earth were now at my disposal, and the techniques required to manipulate them felt like second nature.

It was as though I had unlocked a door to a world of infinite possibilities, and I was eager to explore all that lay beyond it.

But as the initial euphoria of my achievement began to fade, a sense of responsibility settled over me. I had been given these incredible abilities, and now it was up to me to use them for good.

The power to control the elements was not something to be taken lightly, and I knew that with this power came a great responsibility to use it wisely.

At the same time, the realization that I could detect and manipulate the flow of mana from living beings around me filled me with a sense of wonder.

It was as though a whole new layer of reality had been revealed to me, one that was hidden from ordinary mortals. With this new power, I could track down my enemies, find my friends, and explore the very essence of life itself.

In the end, the laughter and the grin faded away, leaving me with a sense of purpose and a newfound respect for the power that had been given to me.

With this power came great responsibility, but also incredible possibilities. It was up to me to use this power wisely, to explore all that lay beyond it, and to become the very best that I could be.

I waved away all of the notifications and focused on the absolutely massive horde of groaning zombies that was slowly starting to unify into one being. My maniacal laugh was gradually turning into the occasional chuckle.

The process was as fascinating as it was odd and terrible as hundreds of zombies conglomerated and fused together to become an enormous androgynous behemoth with no distinguishing traits other than its sickly grey skin and blank eyes that flashed with demonic rage.

[Legion Zombie. Lvl 34.

An assemblage of resentful zombies gathered together. When a significant number of zombies sense that they are in danger as a result of widespread hunting, they will come together to form a Legion Zombie.

It does not have any magical talents, but it has incredible strength and stamina, and it is not affected by pain in any way. It moves at a glacial pace, but if it ever finds itself in a tight spot, it can unleash a barrage of surprising attacks on those who threaten it.

HP: 15200/15200

MP: 1200/1200

STR: 233

VIT: 221

DEX: 5

INT: 0

WIS: 0

LUCK: 0]

When I saw how much STR and VIT the thing had, my eyes widened. However, when I saw that its DEX was ridiculously low and that its other stats were literally nonexistent, all of my worries vanished, and I made the decision to kill the thing, which was going to be laughably easy due to the fact that I had skills.

I put away my Daedric Sword because I knew I would not need it, and the mere act of doing so was sufficient to attract the attention of the character that appears to be the level's boss.

It let out a furious roar and then started walking in my direction. It didn't matter how far away it was or how slowly it moved since it would be on top of me in a matter of seconds because to its enormous size.

I made an educated guess that the object was at least twenty metres tall, making it far taller than any building in the neighbourhood where we were at the time.

Its enormous leaps covered an adequate amount of territory to almost make up for its painfully slow speed. Almost.

As I checked that both Reinforcement and Observe were active, I eagerly muttered to myself, "This is going to be so much fun," and then I activated both Mana Perception and Stealth. "This is going to be so much fun," I said to myself.

I came to the conclusion that for the time being, those skills will remain permanently active. This will ensure that I am never taken by surprise, and the increased bonus of 300% for scoring a critical hit was simply too good to pass up.

I was suddenly conscious of everything in my immediate surroundings, and if I wanted to avoid my awareness, I needed to use an object that did not have any mana and was absolutely silent.

After that, I activated the Mana Shield since I've learned that it's never a bad idea to err on the side of caution, plus it was another ability that I could practise whenever I wanted because the shield was essentially unnoticeable.

When I brought it up in front of a large group of people, and nobody paid any attention to it, I have proved my point. It felt as though I was the only person who could see the clear blue spherical construct that was around me, and the only reason for that was because I was the one who was making it at the time.

After that, I added two more layers of it, which made the blue hue of the spherical construct more opaque. This allowed me to crush it three times as quickly while also providing me with the same boost in protection simply because.

And I still had 145 MP left over to spend before my total amount of mana started to decrease.

After I had finished making preparations, the Legion Zombie was already on its way to me, and the ground began to shake as it neared its destination. I looked up at it and arched my eyebrow, which caused it to raise a leg in an attempt to stomp me.

However, as soon as it started to bring its awkward leg down, I took a quick step backwards to put some distance between us. The foot brushed across the asphalt of the roadway, causing a vibration as well as a raised cloud of burned alloys, dirt, and dust.

I quickly braced myself and, recognising that it was perplexing that I was not crushing anything, I began to make preparations for my attack of revenge.

I chuckled to myself as I used my knowledge of the fire element to ignite the neutral mana and transform it into a form of flaming energy while I was being covered by four Spinning Mana Arrows as they whirled into existence on top of me.

My arrows transformed into blazing constructs of churning, shifting, and constantly spinning bright red, orange, and yellow fire that illuminated everything around me as well as myself.

There was a crack and a hiss, which indicated that a chemical reaction had taken place. As I completed putting the finishing touches on my new approach, I saw a notification pop up in front of me.

[Because of a specific action, you have made an effort to improve an existing skill, and you have been successful! The talent known as "Fire Twister" has been developed.]
