"Consider it, girl... This dragon has willingly chosen to reside among humans. Moreover, he has been living within this devil territory for an indefinite period. A creature of his nature is unlikely to provoke conflict. He will remain dormant until Ophis arrives here, and that could be days or even weeks away," Thor remarked, rolling his eyes at Rossweisse's apprehensive demeanor.

Frowning in response, Rossweisse questioned, "The Allfather seemed greatly disturbed by Ophis. Just how powerful is she? This gathering of gods is unprecedented."

"Yes, indeed... I am not too proud to dismiss its necessity. The last monumental clash involving dragons occurred when the heavenly dragons slew the Christian God. Albion and Ddraig were formidable adversaries, yet they pale in comparison to the dragon gods. Ophis holds the title of a dragon god, and that carries profound significance. I cannot ascertain her exact power, but I can only imagine it surpasses that of any living god or dragon. To unite all the infamous dragons under her banner... that in itself is an extraordinary achievement. She even has one of the heavenly dragons on her side. If she were to acquire the other, we would stand no chance," Thor gravely asserted.

Rossweisse's expression turned to horror upon hearing his words. "W-wait... so you truly believe this is Ragnarok?!"

"Aye... but this does not align precisely with the prophecies of our father. None of us may witness the birth of a new world. This cataclysm could obliterate everything," Thor stated with a somber tone.

In a state of disbelief, Rossweisse demanded, "Then why are we here?! We are no match for Ophis and her dragon army. Are we truly going to confront them?"

Thor let out a weary sigh, gazing at Rossweisse. "From where I stand, girl, we have two choices... to perish in our attempt, or to accept our fates and perish regardless. What would a warrior do? As a Valkyrie, you should know better than anyone the significance of falling in battle. Yet, even with all that said, with all the pantheons uniting, we might have a chance against these dragons. Just like Ddraig and Albion fell, despite their seeming invincibility. We cannot forsake our duty."

"I understand your point, my lord. Forgive my... wavering. I will stand by your side no matter what, as commanded by the Allfather," Rossweisse bowed her head.

Curiosity sparked within Thor as he pondered Odin's decision to send Rossweisse with him. "I wonder why Odin chose you. You are considered the runt among the Valkyries, aren't you? Olrun's younger sister, correct?" he sought confirmation.

Rossweisse nodded, her voice tinged with uncertainty. "Y-yes... Why do you ask?"

"It explains why you tend to overanalyze everything. Olrun is the keeper of knowledge, always caught up in her thoughts. She's somewhat of a distinguished librarian, but at least she excels in combat," Thor observed.

Acknowledging her own shortcomings, Rossweisse admitted, "I understand that I am not the most accomplished Valkyrie... Until recently, there were only nine of us. I have not had sufficient time to adapt fully. Nevertheless, I will not disappoint you, my lord," she declared after a brief pause.

Thor shrugged, offering a perspective. "Truthfully, someone like you is better suited for this task. Odin knew better than to send individuals like Hildr, Sigrun, or even Kara. Their tempers rival my own, as I have heard and witnessed. You possess greater intellect than them, and that is what truly matters in this situation. Courage and strength alone won't secure victory in this war. It is understandable to be afraid, girl... Only a madman or a fool would face Ragnarok without fear. The true measure of a warrior lies not in the absence of fear, but in confronting it regardless of the outcome," the God of Thunder conveyed.

"In the days to come, I hope to prove myself," Rossweisse said, bowing her head.

Thor acknowledged Rossweisse's silence with a curt nod, allowing a brief moment of quiet to settle between them. The Valkyrie seemed restless, her movements betraying an unspoken desire to express herself further. Thor regarded her with an expectant gaze. "Is there something else on your mind?" he inquired, his tone devoid of impatience.

"Yes, my lord... Do you believe it to be true that Ophis intends to engage in battle with the other dragon god, Great Red? If she is seeking assistance to confront him, he must be the strongest among them, correct? How much knowledge do you possess about the dragon gods?" Rossweisse inquired, her curiosity evident.

Thor assumed a thoughtful pose, crossing his arms. "I can't claim to know much about Ophis or Great Red beyond their reputations. Most of what I have heard are mere accounts from secondhand sources or tales passed down. The primordial Greek deities seemed to have a deep understanding of Ophis. They instilled fear of her in the titans, yet the Olympians possess minimal knowledge about her and even less about Great Red. Within our pantheon, I have only come across legends of the dragon gods through Mimir... They reign over the boundless abyss of chaos and the unrestrained realm of dreams. Mimir once mentioned that the ancient jotnar actually worshipped Great Red, referring to him as the Dreamer. According to Mimir, their prophetic powers were bestowed upon them by Great Red. I imagine the Allfather sought Mimir's counsel on these matters," Thor divulged.

Realization dawned upon Rossweisse's face. "So that's where Lord Odin went... I can't believe I didn't consider that," she exclaimed with newfound understanding.

"And here I thought you deemed me a fool," Thor remarked, his arms remaining crossed.

She shook her head, a smile gracing her lips. "No, but I find solace in knowing that your wisdom surpasses your outward appearance, Lord Thor."

"Come, girl. Let us find something to eat. We can pursue the search for this dragon afterward," Thor beckoned, gesturing for her to follow.
