Sona sighed, agreeing with Riser, and said while making another move on the board, "Rias just doesn't want to be forced to marry someone she didn't choose."

With firmness, Riser responded, "The marriage was arranged between my father and hers. I'm bound by that contract, just like she is. But unlike her, I'll do what's best for my family. Even if I have to marry a woman who hates me, the only thing I demand from her after the marriage is respect for the Phenex clan and for me."

Sona questioned, curious, "Would you do that for your family?"

Without hesitation, Riser replied while moving a piece on the board, "If not me today, it might be my sister tomorrow. I'd do anything for my sister."

Riser concluded, "Sorry for taking your time, Miss Sitri. Now, I must take my leave. By the way, checkmate." With those words, Riser teleported away, leaving Sona perplexed by the unexpected turn of the conversation and the abrupt end to the chess game.

As Riser left, Tsubaki exclaimed, "President, Riser defeated you, so now he's your fiancé."

Adjusting her glasses, Sona responded thoughtfully, "Yes, Tsubaki, it seems we'll have to deal with this twist. I need to talk to my sister and my father. Gather the rest of the Peerage; we're going to my house."
