Riser was in the living room of his mansion, surrounded by Yubelluna, Erza, Xenovia, Shizuku, and Mirko. He knew he needed to explain the situation to them, especially now that his presence at the faction meeting was ruled out.

"Everyone, thank you for coming here today. I need to talk to you about something important," began Riser, his voice reflecting seriousness as everyone turned to listen to his words.

Yubelluna raised an eyebrow, curious to know what it was about. "What's going on, Riser-sama? It sounds serious."

Riser nodded, preparing to explain the situation. "There will be an important meeting between the factions to discuss peace and cooperation. However, due to the circumstances, I won't be able to attend personally."

Erza frowned, concerned about Riser's absence from such a crucial event. "Why not, Riser-sama? Your presence is essential to ensure everything goes smoothly."

Riser sighed, explaining the decision made by Sona and Grayfia. "After Kokabiel's death, they feel that my presence could be misinterpreted. They want to avoid any controversy that may arise."

Xenovia nodded, understanding the logic behind the decision. "I see... But what about security? Who will ensure that nothing goes wrong at the meeting?"

Riser smiled, conveying confidence to his companions. "I've sent Merlin and Nana to accompany Sona. They're reliable and competent enough to handle any eventuality."

Shizuku nodded, feeling relieved to know that Sona wouldn't be unprotected. "That's reassuring. With Merlin and Nana by her side, I'm sure everything will go well."

Mirko agreed, expressing her confidence in Merlin and Nana's abilities. "Merlin is a powerful sorceress, and Nana is a skilled warrior. They will surely be able to keep Sona safe."

Riser looked at his Peerage, grateful for their understanding and support. "The meeting is scheduled for tonight. Although I can't be there physically, Merlin will keep me informed if anything out of the ordinary happens."

Sona, Tsubaki, Yoruichi, Momo, Nana, and Merlin were gathered in the student council room, discussing preparations for the faction meeting that would take place later that night.

"Sona-sama, we're ready for the meeting," said Tsubaki, her voice firm and determined as she reviewed the final details of the security plans.

Sona nodded, thanking her team for their hard work. "Thank you all for your dedication. I'm confident that everything will go well tonight."

Nana and Merlin exchanged a knowing look, recognizing the importance of the mission entrusted to them by Riser-sama. They were there to ensure Sona's safety and the success of the meeting, no matter what.

"Sona-sama, we want to express our gratitude for allowing us to accompany you on this mission," said Nana, her voice conveying sincerity and respect.

Merlin nodded, her mysterious smile revealing the gleam of her determination. "Yes, Sona-sama. We are here only to fulfill Riser-sama's orders and ensure that everything goes according to plan."

"Sona-sama, would it be possible to take a walk around the school? I'd like to get to know better the place where you spend most of your time," suggested Merlin, her gaze shining with curiosity.

Sona considered the proposal for a moment, realizing there was no reason to deny Merlin's request. "Of course, Merlin. Momo, please accompany Merlin on a tour of the school."

Momo nodded, ready to fulfill Sona's order. "Understood, Sona-sama. Come, Merlin-sama, I'll show you everything."

Merlin smiled, grateful for the opportunity to explore the school in Momo's company. "Thank you, Momo. I look forward to learning more about this place."

Merlin walked through the empty hallways of the school, her silent and mysterious presence filling the environment with an intriguing aura. As she walked alongside Momo, she let slip small comments, revealing her subtle desire to explore the hidden secrets of the institution.

"This place has a peculiar atmosphere, don't you think?" commented Merlin, her soft voice echoing through the deserted corridors.

Momo agreed, feeling drawn into the enigmatic aura emanating from Merlin. "Yes, definitely."

"The occult research club seems to be the perfect place to satisfy my curiosity," remarked Merlin, her tone of voice revealing a mixture of fascination and anticipation.

Merlin and Momo approached the occult research club building, where they found Koneko, Issei, and Gasper outside. Gasper, visibly shy, tried to hide behind Issei when he saw Merlin approaching.

"Hello, Koneko-san, Issei, Gasper. Sorry for the sudden appearance," greeted Momo, maintaining a respectful posture.

Koneko scrutinized them for a moment before responding. "What do you want here?"

Merlin, with her mysterious smile, spoke up. "I'm interested in getting to know the occult research club. Sona-sama allowed me to explore the school a bit, and I thought this would be an intriguing place to start."

Koneko looked at Merlin seriously. "I'm sorry, but the Kaichou is busy with the meeting and can't receive visitors right now."

Merlin nodded understandingly, her expression revealing a hint of disappointment. "I understand, the meeting is indeed important. Well, maybe I can come back later. Thank you anyway."

Merlin turned to leave, and Momo followed her. "Yeah, the meeting. Well, later I'm going to see it anyway. Let's go, Momo."

As they walked back to the student council room, Merlin couldn't help but notice Gasper's shy behavior. She pondered the information that Riser-sama had given her, and a plan began to form in her mind.

"So, that shy boy is the Gasper Riser-sama wants me to abduct," thought Merlin to herself, her mind already plotting the details of how to accomplish the task. "It's going to be very easy."

As they returned to the student council room, Merlin was already devising a plan to approach Gasper discreetly and carry out her mission. She was determined to fulfill Riser-sama's orders, no matter what it took.
