13 Settling in + timeskip(A/N: read the author's note at the end)

After Elysia and Albedo arrived at the study all eyes turned to look towards them. The room was fairly packed with people since everyone who lived in the Vesperion home had been gathered at Kaiser's study to be transported.

Once Kaiser made sure that everyone was ready he nodded to Grayfia who summoned a large teleportation circle and they all disappeared from the study room and appeared in the same room they left from when they set out for the Underworld.

Once they arrived Kaiser with the help of Grayfia and Harumi explained to everyone with them how things work among the youkai.

Kaiser's parents also met Yasaka and they had a talk with her, at first, they were doubtful about the fox maiden but she managed to prove them otherwise and they accepted her as their daughter-in-law.

The Shinto gods also sent a messenger to inquire about what was happening with the youkai faction because they sensed multiple devils entering their territory. Kaiser informed the messenger of everything that happened and explained everything just like he did with Inari. She also vouched for him which helped his case a lot.

After careful consideration, the gods decided that they won't meddle with the affairs of the youkai and Order of Nihility.

In the meantime, Albedo approached Yasaka due to her mother's insistence and talked with the fox woman about Albedo wishing to enter an intimate relationship with Kaiser. Yasaka didn't see a problem with this and agreed to Albedo's request.

After Albedo got Yasaka's permission she had been a lot more expressive and had even initiated physical contact.

At first, Kaiser was surprised by her change of demeanour but got used to it quickly.

Kaiser's parents took up government official positions to help with managing the youkai.

The five nine-tailed foxes who were saved alongside Harumi had been assigned as maids to Yasaka, Michael and Alicia, Albedo, Harumi and Elysia. At first, they wanted one of them to be assigned to Kaiser, but Grayfia quickly shot down this idea.

Fayeth was starting to get used to the many people inside the building and when she was outside Sainvu was responsible for her safekeeping.

Sainvu had been bound by a devil contract to house Vesperion, effectively becoming a servant but he was allowed to retain his consciousness.

Morgana and Elysia had been mostly planning out new buildings or the renovation of older ones alongside Harumi.

Michael took it upon himself to whip the fighting force into shape and Alicia began setting up a research institution and seeking out talent among the youkai.

Kaiser had been travelling around Japan a little more and bringing more people under his flag. Albedo and Grayfia had been accompanying him wherever he went.

**Timeskip 150 years***

The tales of the Order of Nihility had reached everyone's ears who were involved in the supernatural world.

The first shock came when the identity of the leader of this faction had been revealed. A lot of people refused to believe that there were people who survived when house Vesperion was purged and thought of securing the youkai for themselves and set out to eliminate the Order of Nihility. These forces were confronted by 3 people. Grayfia Lucifuge, Albedo and Kaiser Vesperion had laid waste to all who thought that they were easy prey because they had only surfaced recently.

After the confirmation to the whole supernatural community that there is a [Power of Annihilation] wielder, and he has his own faction many people became curious and began investigating how they operate.

The second shock came when Kaiser announced that any race as long as the person isn't running from the law they were welcome. Kaiser also said that they will conduct a background check on people who wish to join the Order of Nihility.

Many people took this opportunity and joined. The people who joined could look for jobs that aligned with their talents or interests. The most prominent jobs were the military, the research institution and the healing institutions.

The military force which was led by Michael had been neatly organized during the 150 years. It was divided into three sections.

The first section was the operators. They were the daggers of the faction. Anything from assassination to information gathering was assigned to this group. Nobody below the high-class could take the entry tests to join the operators. This force was made up of 5.000 high-class, 500 ultimate-class and 5 calamity-class personnel.

The second section was the soldiers. They were the swords of the faction. If the need for a large organized fighting force were to arise they would be the ones to move. There was no lower limit to join this section, you only had to pass the entry tests. This force was made up of 80.000 low-class, 50.000 mid-class, 1.300 high-class, 20 ultimate-class and 1 calamity-class personnel.

The third section was the guards. They were the shields of the faction. They were tasked with protecting important personnel, guarding gates, walls, prisons, patrolling the streets, conducting investigations and such. This force didn't have a lower limit as well and was made up of 40.000 low-class, 15.000 mid-class, 550 high-class and 6 ultimate-class personnel.

For everyone who joined the military, it was mandatory to sign a devil contract and become bound to the Order of Nihility. The sections were all trained differently regarding their purpose. The operators received all-around training, the soldiers were mostly taught about formations, battle tactics, and combat and finally, the guards were trained in crowd control, interrogation, and combat and they also had to learn the more important laws.

The research institution which was led by Alicia was also flourishing.

Many intelligent people who joined the Order of Nihility took up jobs at this institution. Every applicant had to go through a serious screening and a serious interview before being accepted. They had managed to upgrade the way of life for all and also managed to find the cure to the poison that was fed to the nine-tailed foxes and the elf girl.

They all regained their strength and managed to far surpass it.

There are around 400 researchers/scientists working currently in the research institution.

The healing institution was led by Fayeth. After she regained her strength and began training her healing magic she was improving by leaps and bounds. When she heard that there will be a healing institution she volunteered to lead it. There are around 236 healers working currently in the healing institution.

Sainvu was still accompanying Fayeth wherever she went as her bodyguard.

The five nine-tailed foxes after regaining their strength began training and most of them managed to surpass the high-class and all of them broke into the ultimate-class.

Arisu managed to reach the peak-level of ultimate-class.

Kayo and Tsukiko were both at the initial-level of ultimate-class while Kiyomi and Eiko were at the peak-level of high-class.

Harumi, Elysia and Morgana while planning the infrastructure they also didn't slack off regarding training. Harumi managed to reach 6 tails and Morgana was at the peak-level of ultimate-class as well.

For Elysia and Albedo training was more difficult. Since they had very little magic power they began focusing on strengthening their bodies. As they trained their bodies became very resilient and after they managed to learn how to utilize their magic power to strengthen their bodies further it was amplified.

From a physical strength point of view, they were comparable to an intermediate-level high-class person, but their bodies could withstand attacks from even peak-level individuals.

Kaiser's parents also trained diligently. Alicia reached intermediate-level of ultimate-class and Michael reached peak-level of ultimate-class.

Grayfia has managed to break into the calamity-class and reach the intermediate-level.

Yasaka had reached 6 tails just like her mother, but after having sexual intercourse with Kaiser her foxfire gained a little amount of [Power of Annihilation]. It was only a minuscule that was enough to elevate her foxfire above most fire types.

Albedo became Kaiser's lover, but she asked that they wait with having intercourse until she reaches ultimate-class, because even though everyone kept reassuring her that it didn't bother Kaiser that she wasn't an ultimate-class she was adamant so everyone let it be.

A relationship also began forming between Kaiser and Grayfia but it was progressing at a slow pace. Grayfia was cautious about feelings and she was also inexperienced regarding them. Her master-servant mentality also slowed down the process, but Kaiser promised Grayfia that he is willing to help her through all of her problems and doubts. They have shared a few intimate moments, but intercourse was still out of the picture.

Out of everyone, Kaiser had the greatest change regarding power level. During his travels, he battled and defeated a lot of strong people. After 150 years of constant battles and absorbing energy, he managed to reach the peak-level of the super devil class.

Kaiser also gained inspiration from Yasaka's foxfire development and he also tried mixing his [Power of Annihilation] with his purple fire and black lightning.

He started experimenting with this on a smaller scale in a controlled environment and only after he could successfully do this 100% of the time did he start doing it on a larger scale and testing on enemies. Needless to say that it proved to be extremely powerful.

He also noticed that absorbing energy was no longer helping him as it was before. It only gave him a minuscule amount of energy that was akin to a drop of water in an ocean.

Kaiser also didn't want to go and fight gods all willy-nilly because that would only warrant unnecessary conflict.

The Order of Nihility slowly became a safe space for the more unfortunate while others thought of it as a sign of tyranny due to the countless deaths under Kaiser's hand, but nobody had the guts to oppose them and this further solidified their own thoughts.

The Shinto gods were weary at first of Kaiser. Not many people have managed to reach such levels of strength in such a short amount of time, and the fact that they had no real idea about the level of his real combat capabilities made them even warier.

They sent a messenger to Kaiser to discuss setting up an alliance between the Shinto pantheon and the Order of Nihility. Kaiser agreed but wished to discuss this alliance face-to-face with the chief god of the pantheon. The gods agreed thus Kaiser met with the goddess Amaterasu.

After a lengthy conversation, they successfully set up an alliance that was beneficial to both of them and signed the agreement.

What Kaiser didn't expect was to get a meeting request from the four Satans of the Underworld namely, Sirzechs Lucifer, Serafall Leviathan, Ajuka Beelzebub and Falbium Asmodeus.

Author's note: I decided to do a time skip since the point of this fanfiction isn't kingdom-building and I didn't really want to waste time with that. Of course, when something like this happens it will be said in the story, and I feel like things were getting a little too slow-paced after the Devil Civil War.

After the time skip Kaiser will be 210 years old.

I also thought about writing R18 about Yasaka and Kaiser and I have decided that I'll do it, but it won't be a very long one(it might just end up as a throwback filler chapter), because I'm bad at writing such scenes. I will get better at it over time probably as I write more e.g. with Albedo, Grayfia and with our mystery person.

The alliance agreement if anyone wonders:

-1., Purpose of the Alliance:

b. The Alliance aims to foster unity, strengthen alliances, and promote the exchange of knowledge and resources between the Order of Nihility and the Shinto Pantheon.

a. The Parties shall respect each other's sovereignty, customs, and traditions.

b. Neither Party shall interfere with the internal affairs, worship practices, or sacred rites of the other Party.

c. The Parties shall refrain from engaging in any hostile actions or any activities that may cause harm or disrespect to the other Party.

-3., Information and Resource Sharing:

a. The Parties shall engage in regular and open communication to share valuable information and knowledge that may benefit both sides.

b. The Parties may, upon mutual agreement, share resources, artifacts, or divine tools that can aid each other's cause.

-4., Mutual Assistance:

a. The Parties shall extend assistance to each other when facing external threats that may pose a danger to their respective domains or followers.

b. The Parties shall collaborate in the development and implementation of strategies to counter common adversaries and protect their shared interests.

-5., Cultural Exchange and Cooperation:

a. The Parties shall encourage cultural exchange programs, fostering understanding and appreciation of each other's customs and beliefs.

b. Joint events, festivals, and celebrations may be organized to promote unity and harmony among their followers.

-6., Confidentiality:

a. The Parties shall maintain strict confidentiality regarding sensitive information shared during the course of the alliance, preventing its unauthorized disclosure to third parties.

-7., Termination of the Alliance:

a. Either Party may terminate this alliance agreement by providing a written notice of termination to the other Party, detailing the reasons for termination.

b. Termination of the alliance shall not nullify the previous commitments and obligations outlined in this Agreement.

The Parties hereby acknowledge and agree to the terms and conditions set forth in this Alliance Agreement. This Agreement shall enter into force upon the date of signature by authorized representatives of both the Order of Nihility and the Shinto Pantheon.
