58 Meeting Odin

All of us teleport on one of the seaside cliffs of Norway. We were immediately stunned by the beauty

"Ahhhh. The air is so clear here-nyaa" Kuroka spread her hands as she took a deep breath

"I agree. It's serene in a way" Asia noded

"The Sea.. How I have missed this" Ingvild started to tear up

Kurama kneeled down and pressed his hand against the earth. " There are magic circles and runes underground. The natural energy here is being purified. I'm guessing they have a powerful Senjutsu user. They couldn't have set this up without one."

That is interesting. I didn't expect a Senjutsu user among the Norse Faction. But when I think about it. Each faction has got to have at least one. Just so they can defend themselves against other Senjutsu users that attack them

Veldora scratched his head. He was only wearing a T-shirt in this cold weather "So what now?"

"Now we need to find a bar. Come on, let's move"

Ingvild turned around with her big puppy eyes

"We will come back to check out the sea later" She smiled brightly at that.

"Eh? Isn't it a bit early in the day to be drinking Isaiah" Misaki asked while all of us started to walk. Well walking by our standards is moving at extremely high speeds

"Not really, but that's not the reason we are going there. The Norse faction has people stationed in bars. That's the way you announce that you wish to enter Asgard. Basically, the bars are a reception area"

".. Really? A bar?" Meredith asked with a surprised tone

"*Yawn* Well with Odin as the faction leader, this should be expected. The Grigori has the same thing. Except it is in Oppai Clubs" Dino scratched his hair

Meredith only had one response to that "Your dad is a pervert"

This made Dino smirk "Oh I know. He hired 5 prostitutes for my birthday and locked me inside a room with them. I could hear him shouting from the door 'Get rid of your virginity you lazy bum! No son of mine will be a virgin at 16' "

This made the rest speechless.

"Ahh. I see that Azazel is still the same" Tiamat facepalmed

"To be fair, there are pros and cons to his approach" Veldora mumbled

"Yeah. You can't really comprehend the mind of a genius" Kurama agreed

"Continue the topic later we are here"

All of us stopped outside a fairly big bar. It had this Viking main hall design.

"What's the name of this place?"

[Hovedsalen]

"I'm pretty sure it translates to 'The Main Hall'" Kuroka said and Koneko nodded.

We enter inside. And I was pleasantly surprised that it was a bit more modern while still keeping that Traditional feel.

"Oi Isaiah on your left" Kurama quickly whispered

*Clank*

"Ahhhhh~ that hit the spot~" An old man was drinking with a happy expression. he had long grey hair, and a beard that matched its length. He wore a gold and white monocle over his left eye, without the chain that was normally attached to it.

"Odin-sama you can't be here. We are going to be late for a meeting" Next to him was a young silver-haired woman who was pleading with him to get up. She had long silver hair and azure-colored eyes. She was wearing a business suit

Odin, God of the North, The All-Father and his bodyguard Valkyrie Rossweisse

"Bah. The meeting can wait. Today is the day the good stuff arrives. If I waited for it to come to the palace it would take a few more days. No way I'm waiting for that"

"Odin-sama, you have to wait for the drinks to be checked for poison first and please think of your position, you represent Asgard" Rosswiesse was massaging her forehead

"Rossweisse you are such a buzzkill. This is why you dont have a boyfriend" Odin raised his glass at her and pointed with his index finger before chugging the drink.

Tears started to gather in her eyes. She fell on her knees and started to cry.

"Waaaaa! I'm just an unattractive Valkyrie who has never had a boyfriend. It's not my fault. Waaa!"

"Is this for real" Kurama said with a sweatdrop

"She is really crying" Meredith looked at the older woman with a speechless expression

"Umm. Do we go help her or..? " Asia didn't know what to do in this situation

"Let's go greet them. We are planning on entering Asgard. We are just insanely lucky to meet Odin right off the bat. As expected of a Faction leader. They are all crazy in their own way. Dino, Veldora prepare the magazines"

""Roger"" Both of them nod seriously

Odin noticed us "Hooo"

Rossweisse quickly stood up and was ready for a confrontation

"Well, there is a similar face. Tiamat how do you do?" Odin asked while he straightened out his beard

"I have been good Old Man. Looks like you are still up to your old antics." Tiamat chuckled

Odin then turned to me the leader of the group. "So you are the lad causing all the chaos that has been going on recently. Excalibur, Kokabiel, Katarea. Your name has spread far and wide Isaiah. Now tell me what do you want from an old man like me?" he grinned at me, playing the helpless old man

"We want to visit Asgard as tourists. We even brought payment" his eyebrows raised when I said payment

I turn around and nod to Dino and Veldora who stepped up and made two magic circles above the table. Both Odin and Rossweisse stood still, they recognized the circle as a Pocket Dimension spell

*Thud. Thud, Thud, Thud*

Dozens of porn mags started to rain down on the table and pile up.

"Uwooo Hoooo!" Odin quickly stood up and grabbed a few of the magazines to flip through the pages.

"Ahhh~ So many magazines and the women are all my type. There are even some rare editions! BOY! You got yourself a deal!" Odin said with a fist pump

"ODIN-SAMA!!" Rossweisse steped on the floor

"This pitiful Valkery is Rossweisse. She is my bodyguard." Odin pointed to her which made her eyes tear up again. Her boss called her pitiful

My team sweatdropped at their antics

"Thanks, old man" I give the god a nod. My team also expressed their gratitude

"So tourists you say?" Odin casually stored away all of the magazines

"Yep. We want to see the world. Travel around."

"And Asgard is your next stop. Considering it hasn't been that long since the Rating Game. I'm assuming Asgard is amongst the first places you will visit?" Odin was playing with his beard while smirking at us

I nod at his question

"In that case, I am honored for you to consider Asgard to be among your first choices. Come on I'll take you guys there personally" Odin said cheerfully

"But ODIN-SAMA! Your meeting. You told me to stop you from getting sidetracked" Rossweisse pleaded

"I don't wanna, and you should do a better job" Odin waved her off making her sigh

"I don't get paid enough for this" She slumped a bit

Man she doesn't have it easy

"Well if you ever get tired of being a bodyguard secretary. You have a place on my team. Consider this a job offer"

Rosswisse was stupified

Odin raised an eyebrow "Trying to poach one of my own in front of me? You got balls kid"

I smile at him "Just taking my shot old man. If you dont want her I'll take her off your hands"

Rosswisse stuttered "B-but why would you want me? I'm just a failure.. a Valkyrie that didn't receive her Family Magic. I can tell that every member of your team is special in their own way. Why would you want me to join" she lowered her head at the end.

Self-esteem issues. looks like the same as the Original Story. Time for a talk-no-jutsu.

" Rosswisse, I'm a reincarnated devil. Do you think I got this strong from having a bloodline? I put blood sweat and tears into training each day. That's how I got this strong.

Same for my team. And I'm assuming it's the same for you. Not just anybody can be Odin's bodyguard. You must be powerful in your own right"

Rosswisse blushed at my compliment

"Hahaha. He got you there girl. Rosswisse might not have her Family's Magic but she made up for that by studying every school of magic she could get her hands on. She is far stronger than her peers and is among the strongest Valkyries in Asgard despite her young age." Odin boasted loudly

"Odin-sama.." Rosswisse's face was red from all the compliments, but she quickly turned serious "But what about the envoy from Grigori.. he will be here any minute.."

Odin froze "Ahh.. I forgot about him, I remember about a meeting but not with who it was."

"An envoy? Azazel works fast. I'm guessing it's about their alliance" That man's connections are something else.

"Hoo, you are well informed," Odin said in surprise

"Not really, I denied their offer to enter it" That surprised both Odin and Rossweis

"Ahhh, so that's why you were there. I assumed you had just targeted Katarea for some reason. And why did you refuse the offer? Wouldnt that help out your group" Odin said seriously. My answer might make him change his mind. We are talking about the fate of his faction

"Simple. I had nothing to gain and everything to lose. I dont need their information, their technology or their protection. If I joined I wouldn't get anything and carry the risk that one of mine gets killed. Oh and it isn't really a group anymore. I'm building a faction"

Odin was slightly surprised by that."You are an ambitious one aren't you" he laughed a bit

There were many requirements for something to be considered a Faction. First of all Strenght. Territory, Money, Tradable goods and Numbers. Those are just basic things you need.

Strenght we have in spades. Territory, none except Kurama's mountain. Money. Very little. Tradable goods. My ability to extract sacred gears. But that's it. And we are still working on numbers

So I understand where he is coming from

"Not really. I need a faction so I can protect myself when I am attacked later on. I just want to travel the world and relax"

"'When' you are attacked. Not 'If'" Rossweisse asked

"Yep~" I nod at the beautiful Valkyrie

"Isaiah. A very strong person is approaching" Kurama announced

"How do you do that!~nyaa. I dont feel a thing. Just how big is your range?!~nyaa" Kuroka was miffed about how much better Kurama was at Senjutsu

"Impressive. If you were able to sense him from all the way there. You must be a very powerful Senjutsu user. I got my own method for sensing people in my territory" Odin smiled

All of us waited for the envoy to come

"I wonder who dad sent as an envoy?" Dino said lazily

Odin turned to Dino"Dad? You are that fallen brat's brat?.. You look nothing like him"

"Yeah, I take after my mum. Thank God for that. Otherwise, people might mistake me for that pervert" Dino said bluntly making Odin laugh

Then the doors of the Main Hall opened. The envoy had arrived
