1 [Chapter 1: Reincarnation]

[Córdoba, Argentina]

It was a sunny day in the city of Córdoba; sounds of cars and birds echoed throughout the place.

Children ran through the streets playing; some engaged in soccer with improvised goals made of rocks, while others participated in a water war.

Overall, it was a typical day in this beautiful city.

In a secluded part of the city, a small yet well-built humble house could be seen.

With the new government mandate, new measures were implemented, including helping people build their homes.

This was one of those homes where Jonathan Mendez lived, an average 20-year-old who had been abandoned at an orphanage.

Thanks to the orphanage staff and his friends there, he managed to overcome challenges, studying and striving for a better future.

In his room, there was a mid-range PC, posters of anime and video games, and anime figures surrounding a huge poster of Messi holding the World Cup.

RING, RING

"Wow, wow"

"Alright, alright, quiet down, Rocky"

With a wave of his hand, Jonathan turned off the alarm and pet his dog, Rocky.

Rocky, a street dog adopted by him when he moved here, provided companionship to avoid feeling lonely.

"All right, today is chest day, let's go, Rocky"

Taking the protein from the fridge, Jonathan prepared everything and headed to the gym near his house, with Rocky following him.

While jogging, Jonathan began to recall how he got here, focusing on studying and sidelining socializing.

Not that he needed it; he had friends on Discord with whom he talked all night, so he wasn't lacking in companionship.

Though he occasionally called his orphanage siblings to meet and talk about life, as well as to enjoy a good Fernet.

While jogging and lost in his thoughts, Jonathan didn't notice a truck passing on the sidewalk he was crossing.

Rocky barked, but by the time he realized, it was too late.

He could see in slow motion as the truck approached his face, and as his whole life flashed before his eyes, he glimpsed his dog from the corner of his eye.

And with a single glance, he conveyed his regret at leaving Rocky alone, then was sent flying by the truck, dragged a few meters.

"Rocky... come..."

Speaking slowly, Jonathan pressed his hand where the truck hit him, trying to stay alive.

His dog came quickly and started licking him while crying.

"I don't have much time, Rocky. I'm sorry for leaving you alone. I just hope you find a family that loves you, and please... wet my computer..."

For a moment, a gleam passed through Rocky's eyes, and as if understanding, he nodded.

Without paying much attention to that, Jonathan looked up at the sky, ignoring the people shouting and the driver being scolded and beaten by neighbors.

He looked at the bright sun, the slowly moving clouds, the wind gently moving his hair, while his mind wandered in random thoughts, gradually darkening his vision.

He regretted many things, not having a girlfriend, not finishing Dark Souls, or completing the Douluo fanfiction he had almost finished.

Finally, with a last sigh, Jonathan's soul left his body, a soul with many dreams to fulfill, but unfortunately, destiny was cruel.

In Jonathan's house, his belongings were being taken to the orphanage as a gift, as he left a will stating that in case of an accident, all his belongings would go to the orphanage, except for the anime figures and posters, which would go to a friend.

[High School DxD Universe, Hell/Underworld, Familiar Forest]

It was a normal day in the familiar forest, without visits from any devils or anyone, animals killing each other, others sleeping, and others stalking their prey, etc.

Then, a small white flame came from the sky and descended slowly to the ground. A large influx of magical particles flowed towards it; some intelligent animals noticed this but couldn't identify the direction they were going.

And some who did notice the direction encountered a barrier at one point and had to go in another direction after some failed attempts to break it.

Some time later, everyone began to pay less attention and left it alone.

Several weeks later

It had been a few weeks since the magical particles had been acting strangely, something noticed by some demons and reported to the higher-ups.

Today, a visit from young heirs of pillar clans was scheduled, but all visits had been canceled these weeks.

Today, a demon came to see what was happening here, as it caught the attention of several important individuals, and he was sent to study the site.

This was of utmost importance because young demons, as well as adults and those related to demons, came here to look for their relatives. If something went wrong, it would mean a great loss for the demons.

This demon appeared to be a young man around 20 years old, with light blue eyes and green hair combed back, and a mysterious aura surrounded him, making him appear mysterious.

This demon was one of the current Demon Kings, Ajuka Beelzebub, a member of a branch of the Astaroth family, as well as the greatest researcher of the demon race, creator of the miraculous Evil Pieces.

Today, he came here to see the state of the forest, as he was being pressured to come and see what was happening.

While exploring the area, he noticed that the influx of magical particles to a point accelerated compared to before, so much that it was visible to the naked eye as they flowed like a turbulent sea in one direction.

Flying quickly, he encountered a barrier that blocked his path but allowed him to see what it protected.

Then he saw a large magical ball absorbing magicules from the surroundings, causing it to grow in size.

Then, the white ball began to take shape, growing a tail, four legs with sharp claws, and finally the head, demonstrating that it was a golden dragon.

"A dragon?"

Seeing it take the form of a dragon, Ajuka understood why this phenomenon was happening.

It turned out to be the birth of a dragon, and one particularly talented if the absorption of particles demonstrated it.

"Hmm, so you came."

Looking up, Ajuka saw Tiamat, the strongest dragon king, and the guardian of the familiar forest.

"Hello, Tiamat, it's been a while. I came because the birth of this young one caught the attention of several important people, and I was sent to see what was happening."

Tiamat is one of the 5 Dragon Kings, formerly 6, and the strongest of the 6, with the title of Dragon Chaos Karma.

She has a debt with Ajuka, and because of that, she is part of his nobility, although he has never called her, and she only stays to guard the familiar forest.

"I had forgotten to mention it to you. The moment it started absorbing magicules, I had already noticed it; I just wanted to see how much it could absorb. It spent 7 weeks absorbing magicules, longer than the time Ddraig and Albion spent."

After hearing those words, Ajuka opened his eyes wide.

Because although it was not common knowledge, the strongest dragons have always been those born from the accumulation of magicules, not those born from dragon parents.

Among the dragons born from magicules, there was a clear distinction in their talents. While they were all immensely talented, their talent varied based on how much time they could absorb magicules to strengthen their soul and physique.

This meant that if nothing bad happened, this dragon would soon be a new Celestial Dragon.

"Don't even think about luring him to the demons. I will personally take care of him and look after him. If they touch a single scale of him, I will take care of eradicating the entire hell myself."

"Relax, Tiamat. I was just curious about what was happening. I'll only tell the other Satans that it was the birth of a dragon, but I won't tell them how talented it is. As for the old demons, I will make sure they don't do anything."

Nodding, Tiamat watched as Ajuka teleported to who knows where.

Looking at the sleeping dragon on the ground, various emotions and thoughts crossed Tiamat's mind before she sighed and grabbed him by the neck, sending the little dragon flying to the outer zone of the forest.

After this, Tiamat headed to the central area, where her cave was, to take a well-deserved nap.

Fernet: An alcoholic beverage popular in Argentina (my country of origin).

This will be explained later, but remember that it's an AU, and there will be many new things, things that will be removed, etc. This is one of those.

By the way, if you see any errors or anything strange, let me know since I reviewed and changed some things, but I'm still not very sure about the chapter.

Throughout the week, I will be uploading some chapters, depending on the amount of support they receive. Good luck in this new year!
