3 The Snake Revealed!

(Day of the rating game)

One week went well. Today the match between Diodora and me is taking place.

Because it's a private game only the clan members are allowed to observe our game.

All the people from the main as well as the branch clans have come.

Latia Astaroth, my cousin also came to spectate this fight.

Our game will take place in an artificial space with the same terrain as the training ground.

Both me and Diodora with his peerage have taken our position.

I came wearing a plain white tshirt and black trousers with a white sneaker.

Unlike me, Diodora on the other hand wore fancy armor along with some accessories.

His peerage of mind-raped nuns also wore those princess dresses.

"Hey there brother you look classy."

I complimented him in a jokish tone.

"Oh, thank you brother."

He replied in a weirdly calm tone.

"So, how was your preparation?"

"Nothing special but I hope you won't cry when I beat you to the ground."

"Aye~ nice confidence. We'll see about that."

"Cough... before the start of the game. I'd like to explain the rules to both participants."

A projection appeared before us and father started talking from within it.

"Today's game is an elimination type. You simply have to make your opponents retire from the field through combat. Since, Estarossa is fighting alone as soon as he retires the game will be considered over."

"Weapons are allowed. Each party is given one bottle of Phenex Tears. They can choose to use it whenever they want."

"Now, begin!!!"

As soon as father announced, Diodora's bishops started firing barrages of magic.

I quickly conjured a defensive barrier and easily blocked them all.

"Sorry ladies but, today I'm not in the mood to entertain you further."

I said and pointed my finger at their direction...

"Cero Oscuras!"

Woooosh—

BOOOOOOM!!!

"Aahhhh—!!!"

They did try to defend but my Cero Oscuras tore through their barriers like sheets of paper.

They were eliminated in a single hit.

"How dare you!"

His knights both appeared and swung their swords aiming for my head. I channeled Demonic Power into my arms and blocked their attack.

"Aahhh!"

Immediately after I punched them in the gut. Sending them flying. They crashed against a hill.

"Don't worry ladies I promise it'll only sting for a second."

"Cero Oscuras!"

I shot another Cero Oscuras, it blew up the entire mountain and eliminated the pair of knights.

"Four down..."

I muttered and looked at the remaining members.

"Heh~"

I smirked and gestured for them to come at me.

"You bastard!!"

Diodora's rocks yelled and charged at me. I decided to flare up more of my aura. The wave of aura hits them and sends them rolling.

Another Cero Oscuras, and only his Queen and Pawns are left.

"Your time is up you monster!"

Looking to the side, I saw his Queen charging a massive attack. And by massive, I mean really gigantic!

"But, how....?"

I wondered, the amount of power in that attack way exceeds the realm of a High-Class Devil. Moreover, Diodora's Queen can only be considered a Middle-Class Devil at best.

"Oh..."

'So, that's how...'

Now I understand. Behind her the eight pawns were giving her their power. Perhaps, they promoted to Bishops in order to enhance their Demonic Power. That explains, why she could muster such strength.

"Well, then time to up a notch."

In order to counter this attack, a hurriedly charged Cero Oscuras won't be enough. However, her attack would be prepared before I can charge a strong enough Cero Oscuras.

Therefore, the best option would be...

"I didn't want to use this move against others except Diodora. But, seems like I underestimated you. Whatever, bring it on!"

"Luz De La Luna!"

Yup, the iconic green javelin of Ulquiorra Cifer.

I created a highly compressed Luz De La Luna using terrifying amounts of Demonic Power.

"Here it comes!"

I threw the energy javelin with all my might.

"Haaa—!!!"

Diodora's Queen too fired a massive blast of tremendous Demonic Power to intercept my Luz De La Luna head on!

Unfortunately for her, my attack sliced through her blast and caused an explosion powerful enough to obliterate more than half of the surrounding.

"Huff..."

After the dust clouds receded, his Queen and

Pawns were nowhere to be seen. All of them were eliminated.

I was short of breath. Although, I still have an abundance of Demonic Power left, finely controlling this much still takes a toll on me mentally.

"Got you! Die!!"

I heard Diodora yell from behind.

'Crap!'

I didn't know how he managed to sneak behind me.

But, It was too late to dodge! I don't have time to erect a barrier. Therefore, I stopped holding back and released all of my remaining Demonic Power to tank the blow.

BOOM!!!

A huge explosion occurred! Dust clouds engulfed us in a storm.

"Huh...?"

As the view cleared, Diodora stood shocked. After all, only my t-shirt got a bit torn. Aside from that, I'm completely unscathed.

"Phew~ you got me there brother."

I smirked at him, which turned him purple in fury.

"Bastard how dare you!!!"

"Fuck you! I don't care anymore! I intended to save this for the tournament, but I had enough of your arrogance!! How dare you look down on me! I'll make you regret waking up!!!"

He screamed and a purple colored snake biting its own tail symbol manifested on his palm. The next moment, his power skyrocketed to at least an Ultimate-Class Devil.

I guess, he finally snapped. Well, it was easier than expected. I was waiting for him to finally release the snake of Ophis.

The proof, that he's associated with the Chaos Brigade...
