10 Chapter 10: A Tale of Two Crushes

It was still raining when the bell rang for the end of today's classes.

Discussions revolved around the amount of homework.

Some people were still gossiping about Reiji and Kanade, mainly because not everyone in the class knew Nene. In fact, if three knew her name, that would already be a lot, after all, she was a first-year student while they were in the third year. They rarely had interactions with their first-year kohais, except in school clubs.

However, Nene was in the "going home club", so the chances of some of them who were in school clubs knowing her were even less.

"Okay, okay." Kanade released his arm and covered his mouth; she could no longer bear so many compliments. She was almost smoking from her head. It seemed like at any moment her brain would short-circuit.

Pulling her hand away from his mouth, he said with a somewhat mischievous smile, "Really? I can still continue~"

"Haha, alright." Reiji laughed.

Nene, seeing this, pouted. She didn't know what to feel now. Although Reiji didn't deny that he adores her more, however, he began to praise Kanade non-stop, which made her start to feel various strange sensations in her chest, making her uncomfortable.

After this event, the three walked in silence to the school exit. After changing shoes, Kanade finally broke the silence by saying, "Reiji-kun, shall we go together, yes?"

Nene's entire body shivered upon hearing Kanade's syrupy voice. However, she was also slightly affected by Reiji's voice; however, since his gaze was not focused on her, nor the words directly at her, she only felt a flutter.

Under the envious gaze of many, Reiji ended up going home with two girls hugging him, one on each side.

As he was holding the umbrella, Nene hugged him around the waist, while Kanade was the one holding his free arm.

However, perhaps out of jealousy, she chose to hug Reiji's body instead of his arm.

Reiji sighed.

Not that it was bad being hugged by two beautiful girls, but it was extremely difficult to walk this way.

"Ah yes, I need to stop by a stationery store, is that okay with you two?" Reiji asked.
