"I wouldn't mind being her friend but is there any reason why you decided to come here after this incident?"

I thought logically they'd be going straight to hell after this incident.

She exchanged glances with my mom like there was some unspoken conversation and then they told me the whole deal with Jeanne, this Khaos Brigade organisation, what they tried to do, etc etc...

And well, I never thought I'd say this but I'm on the devils' side... why would I be on the side of a bunch of genocides? I even sent a deadpan in my mom's way and she just shrugged her shoulders.

I looked at Grayfia who had been awaiting my answer.

"We won't cooperate with Khaos Brigade. But we're also not the devils' friends. I don't mind us having a friendly relationship of cooperation between both parties, but I have conditions".

"... please state them, Ray-sama".

"I want me and my mother's existence to remain a secret. We have lived here for ten years and haven't disturbed anyone. So anyone who disturbs us may force us to answer in the harshest way possible to set an example. Don't play games with us".

I heard her gulp from the distance and she looked at my mom as if to get a secondhand confirmation only to find her smirking, this is the sort of answer she wanted me to give. 

"You heard him~".

Grayfia nodded, "I promise we will keep absolute clearance, Ray-sama. Aside from some counted individuals that you will be introduced to, no one shall know your existence, not by our mouths anyway but you must understand that after today, many powerhouses are bound to know there is a new set of Egyptian Gods".

"I don't care if they know that Osiris exists, I just don't want them to know that Ray Lux is Osiris, not for now".

"Understood, then we will go one step above"

"Oh?"

"I promise that even after this incident your identity shall remain a secret, we the Gremory are a powerful family among the 72 pillars of the underworld, our influence spreads around the world. Controlling the media and supernatural channels to keep your identity a secret is within our possibilities".

She extended her hand forward with a kind smile that warmed the soul, I like her. 

"Let's be friends, Ray-sama".

I smiled back and extended my hand forward, "Sure!".

"Wait!-"

It was too late by the time Anubis interjected. 

My naked hand shook the maid's, at least we had someone from the supernatural community to count with and it won't be like being in limbo. When my eyes opened, I found a blushing Grayfia, closer with her grey eyes shining in downright curiosity and that's when I realised.

"Sorry!"

I released my hand quickly, but hers stayed there frozen as if like some sort of connection had been broken. 

"What was that just now?"

"Oh, that's... yeah it is my aura, don't pay attention to it!" I shrugged it aside but it didn't look like she was going to let the matter rest!

'Some sort of afrodisiac...? no... I don't feel aroused, or maybe just a bit... but that's not correct. More than aroused I felt... happy... and calm. I-It feels like when I'm spending time with Millicas, it feels... fulfilling'

I want to feel that again.

Anubis-sama began pushing me out of the room, this attitude, they have a secret! But then, is it something bad for me or the little mistresses? no, if he had done something bad deliberately, he'd want to touch me again.

She even went as far as to push me all the way to the main door, this is their house, I can't press the matter.

This is not good, I touched her... the best case scenario is that she didn't feel anything but, given her expression, I don't think that's the case. Thankfully she didn't moan or something, that would have been awkward. 

While I was thinking about our next move while caressing Anna's hair, someone entered the room, it was Akeno.

"Please don't think bad of Rias, she just thinks you may be a very good addition".

"Don't sweat it".

"We were going to stay in Kyoto for a while, could we come back and play sometime, we'd like to know you better, don't you?"

This girl used the puppy gaze on me in a more adept way than Anna! No, I know what this is... this is a seductress. Anna can use the puppy gaze innocently because that's what she is, a little creature. 

This girl is a succubus, her puppy-gaze is a seduction technique. I won't fall for it, wicked devil!

"You can come and play anytime you want~".

"Thank you, Ray!"

She jumped on me and hugged my arm. Shit, I fell for it.

"Is that girl your friend?"

"Yes, she's An-chan, my best friend".

"An-chan?"

"Yamada Anna".

"So you two go by nicknames! How cute, my name is Akeno so you can call me A-chan? or Aka-chan?~"

"But that doesn't sound good, maybe Hime-chan?"

I have to admit, Akeno is way more charming than Rias in many senses. No doubt Rias is prettier, but Akeno is like a breath of fresh air. I spent a good while talking with Akeno while Rias blushed and looked at me with jealousy from the door.

The thing is, who is she jealous of? Me or Akeno? I didn't know.

Someone else knocked on the door.

My mother once again came to my room but her gaze looked at me as if saying 'drop dead'.

Why are you angry with me now?

"Dinner's ready, Ray. Bring Anna and Akeno".

Dinner was ready, as it turns out, Grayfia was going to leave but because I spent a while talking to Akeno, they decided to stay for dinner and so Grayfia helped my mom with her cooking, just how kind can they be?
