Entrapped

Long ago there were 7 tribes to grace the planet. The Humans courageous and curious. The Elves intelligent and gifted. The Dwarves sturdy and skillful. The Gods/Titans prideful and powerful. The Hollows vengeful and empty. The Yokai various and clever. And the Fey hidden and beauty.

The first of the Gods Yahweh, Shiva, Odin, Zeus raged against the Titans who wanted to use humans as cattle, livestock or entertainment. In their desperation the Titans released the Hollows from the prison realm. The hollows raveged humanity throwing off the balance between soul reincarnation. The Gods in remedy made used their energies to empower some human souls the power to manifest. These souls were made to manage the reincarnation cycle until one day a soul named Genryusai proposed the establishment of the Gotei 13. 13 divisions to moniter the planet and keep hollows at bay. Those members established the soul society in its entirety. My eldest brother Ryujin the first Phoenix gave his flames to craft a weapon for the leaders of souls.

The Gods growing tired pf the enless forces of the Titans made their own forces. Yahweh created Angels and Devils, Odin created valkyries or sky maidens, Shiva created a throne blessed by Soul Society to allow it to summon souls pf heroes beyond recognition. Zeus has his Olympians empower their children and descendants creating the first demigods as giving away divinity was considered taboo.

Life was again peaceful for the gods had defeated the titans and humans were free. However the humans now arrogant from their victories and with the soul society no longer on the realm to monitor them started creating havok. The first humans started awakening magic. And with magic came power.

The numerous human decided they no longer wanted to share the planet and chose to subdue the elvin kin and the drawven clans. The wars lasted many years until the elven and dwarves made a deal with the fey to relocate to their fairy realms. Human being themselves almost tried to force their way into the Fey realm but thats when the Gods stopped them.

Humans now arrogant thinking themselves the new rulers of the planet created their own sub dimensions hidden between the folds of reality. Henceforth dividing and separating magic from the mundane. The mundane humans started praying to Yokai creating myths and legends about them. Around this time my second and third brothers were born. The three phoenixes under elder brother Ryujin melded with the Yokai and created a safe haven in whats called nowadays the bermuda triangle. Thats when the first war began. The devils began rebelling against heaven for being ostracized when they were created that way. During the war i was born, spawned from the magic in the air itself i was created. The first Frost Phoenix. The war was becoming intense when my first brother fell. It was completely unexpected. He didnt rebirth as usual, instead he just ceased. My second brother Azulon was tricked by a devil and contracted. It turns out this devil worked with some Dark Fey to create a binding ritual for Phoenixes. Their aim was my second brother but instead it hit my third brother and locked him in his bird form and stopped him from turning back. We cared after him in a forest filled with magical creatures until the devil returned for my brother. This time he succeeded in bonding with my brother. Azulon took him far away from the forest and i took Azulon's egg and flew away.

Me and my third brother Stiyl Magnus took turns keeping Azulons egg warm when we felt his magic flare before it seemed like it diminished then got supressed. It was weird but we could still feel his magic so we knew he was alive. But no matter how long i waited he never came back. No matter how many decades. His egg needs his flames to hatch. I can barely keep it warm with my flames since my flames are much more suited for ice. Sityl eventually leaves to go find him but he never returns either.

I begin to grow everly anxious when i feel Azulons flames grow closer. I loosen my worries but i never expected that devil to show up using my brothers flames. I get so angry that i almost froze his egg. Not good i need to calm down and keep the egg warm.

In my hesitation the devil and several others throw some weird chains around me that surpress my flames. But not my frost. But as long as the egg is close i cant use them. So i keep my frost to a minimum and let them take me. I was worried but turns out they need my blood to finish some ritual. So thats how i spend my life being a blood bank everytime they have a kid and keeping the egg alive. I told them that it need to be next to me for 1000 years before it hatches. Time is running out quickly and i still dont have a solution for getting out of this situation.

Then recently i felt it. My brothers flames. Not just Azulons blue and gold flames but even Ryujin's red and black flames of purgatory. Both of the flames come back to life but they shared s body? I was confused but moreso when the flames spent so much time away. Is it not my brothers? Whats going on? Ugh I've been in this cell for so long.

Later the family head returns and starts ranting about his stupid son doing something bad and about pissing off the real deal. So there is another Phoenix?! Sityl i have no idea what happened to you but now there is a chance we can eventually be free my brother.

The family head runs down into my cell a i just gave him a maniacal grin promising his death. They lock my cuffs and start the transfer. I know im too weak but this is my only chance. Once we leave the room i push my captives away from my before using the last of my strength to snap the shackles and flaring my Phoenix Aura to the max. New Phoenix, whoever you are, I don't care, just .... help. I close my eyes, decades of fatigue piling up but before i hit the ground i fee someone catch me and lower me slowly to the ground taking off his jacket to use as a pillow.

"Thank You" i manage to choke out. He just looked back at me with a look of pity?....no understanding in his eyes.

"I got it from here." He began to walk away when i stopped him one last time to ask him his name. "My name....Is Hibari Kyouya."
