25 Peace?

I am seriously starting to question my sanity. The more I forge my body in fire, the more I feel like maybe there is no reason to push myself so much. It is in that moment that I keep pushing myself more. I feel that if I give up once, I would not be able to start again. The benefits were obvious. My body grew stronger. My ki pathways were larger and the flow smoother. I just needed to keep doing that.

One day while I was training Vali came back. He had someone with him. He was dragging his body like a bag of trash and threw it on the ground. The man was a fallen angel with long black hair and red eyes, and pointy ears. He had four pairs of wings on his back and his body was battered. Was this some sort of internal strife? From the number of wings and the bloody spot on his back indicating another I can conclude that he is a fallen angel cadre.

"Did you finally lose it from the boredom Vali? If you are to betray them, then I surrender. Leave in peace my friend." I said smiling.

"What? No, I just took this meat bag because Azazel asked me to."

His bloodlust was soaring. It seems that fallen angel there has angered him greatly.

"Why are you so angry? Did he do something?"

"Can you believe it? In this world where god is dead, he killed my rival. The red dragon emperor is dead." He said and then kicked him again.

"What? Hyodou Issei is dead? How? And Akeno and the other were fine?" I said. I was shocked. The main character of this world was dead. Who is going to find all the bosses waiting for him? I'm screwed. In the future probably there is going to be some god-class being attacking Kuoh or Japan. I can't even run away because mom and dad are still in Kuoh city. I was worried about the others too. After our training together they should be stronger, but this crow squirming on the ground was a cadre.

"Vali! You bastard, how dare yo-" The crow on the ground started talking so I gave him a kick on the head and made him faint.

"Don't kill him." He said. " He will be punished by Azazel. Yes. He killed the red dragon serving that Rias Gremory and he was the only one dead. So the other should be safe." He said, still angry.

I was stunned and relieved at the same moment. Relieve because my friends were safe and stunned because the main character of the story was dead. Was he going to reincarnate again or something like that? Had I known that, I would have extracted the boosted gear from his body. What a waste.

"Well then, where is Azazel? Do you have an appointment with him here?"

"He should be here soon." He said and then I felt the space shift a little. A magical circle appeared and he materialized inside.

"What the heck, Kokabiel?! What have you done?" He screamed angrily before completely materializing. Then he noticed that Kokabiel was out cold.

"Vali, wake him up, please."

"How do you want me to do that? Shoul I hit him again." He said, ready to crash the head of Kokabiel. How much was he waiting to fight the red dragon emperor?!

"Wait. I'll wake him." I said and healed him just enough to wake him up. He opened his eyes stunned and just when he was about to start talking, Azazel interrupted him.

"What's wrong with you? I said that we wouldn't go to war and then you go and kill the servant of Sirzechs's sister. " Azazel said angrily.

"I would have killed the sister too, if Vali had not stopped. Finally we can fight again and finally get the victory we would have gained a long time ago, had you not pulled out after the death of god and the 4 devil kings." He said smiling.

"It was a waste of time asking you. Just go and spend your life in the depths of hell." He made him vanish before he could protest.

"Are we still going to the meeting?" Asked Vali.

"Obviously, but I do not know how this is going to end. I hope we will be able to finally have some peace after all this time." He said looking at the sky. And then turned toward me. " Haru, we are having a meeting between the leaders of the angels, fallen angels and devils. You'll be coming too."

And so here we were. Around the table a golden haired angel named Micheal, a male version of Rias Gremory called Sirzerchs Gremory, a girl looking in her late teens with black hair, tied into twin tails and blue eyes called Serafall Leviathan and Azazel were gathered. Behind the angel there was a beautiful young woman with violet eyes and chestnut hair. Behind the devil kings there were my friends who seemed a little angry at me and a young woman with chin-length blue hair with a dyed green fringe on the right side and brown eyes. I did not find Asia though. Akeno seemed a little weakened and looked at me like a ravenous wolf. It was scary. Vali beside me too, was a little creeped out.

In the middle of the room there was a maid that seemed to be as strong as the devil king seated on the table. It was a silver haired devil maid. I seem to remember seeing her in the first season with Sizerchs. My memory is vague so I am not sure.

They did argue a little but in the end they seemed to be moving toward peace. It was then that Azazel asked Vali what did he think about it.

"I am fine as long as I can fight strong people." He said. Really even in a place like this, he can only think of stronger foes. I respect that.

"Ahahah. Is it so. You can fight strong people even during peaceful times. You can find Haru there, if there are not enough enemies. " He said. What? Did he just say Haru? What's the problem with this crow. He is using me as a bait for Vali and this battle junkie nodded too.

"And you Haru as a member of the human race. What do you think?" He asked me. Ah, right. None of them seemed to know that I killed Diodora. I wasted all this time for nothing. If I find the soul of Diodora, I swear to god that I am going to kill him again.

"Honestly, as long as you kill each other I could care less. But when the damages reflect on my city and my family, I would say that is better for all of us establishing a peace treaty. " I said.
