The Final Gambit 1/3

Out of the circle came my first and only loved one, other than my son, of course, Grayfia Lucifuge. She still looks as young as when we meet 250 years ago, I still can't believe the apple has granted me near eternal life. Upon seeing me, Grayfia's calm facade breaks instantly, steeling myself for what was about to come, I took a deep breath as a punch as solid as diamond smashed into my chest. Flinging me across the empty park, I smashed into the bench I was previously sitting on.

Leaving nothing but an empty creator where my heart should be, a dim golden light covered the hole as my flesh rebuilt itself, although I can't die through any means I have found, I can still feel pain and my god that fucking hurt.

Barely keeping the smile on my face, I got up off the bench, blood still covering my shirt, I made my way back to where I was standing as she hit me with a powerful blast of pure demonic energy, sweeping me off my feet. I groaned as my body restored itself, "How long are we going to do this?"

She snarled" You left me with our son for 150 years, I have a lot more rage to deal you, extras for killing my Father."

Rias suddenly screamed, pulling Grayfia out of her rage, she rushed to the young girl's side, before screaming "You didn't do you?"

Walking next to the two, I smiled, "Do you recognise the poison?"

Grayfia got up, panicking she grabbed Rias and attempted to teleport back to hell, a simple shout stopped her in her tracks.

"I have used the apple to make it way more potent than the one I used to kill your father, I need you to know I'm serious, take me to Sirzechs or she will die."

Grayfia looked at me, confusion, anger and a deep rage clear in her eyes, "He will kill you for this you know, I won't stop him, even if I could."

I laughed, "It needs to be this way otherwise you both would deny my requests. you need something just as serious as a punishment if you reject my terms. We don't have much time, teleport us there now."

A teleportation circle appeared below us as we appeared in the one place I vowed to never step foot in again, the castle of the Ultimate class Satan, the one who hates me as much as I hate the Church. Which is fair considering the shit I have put him through, Sirzechs was smiling when Grayfia entered the room, noticing her fear-stricken face, he glanced down to see Rias leaking blood from her mouth, staring at the door, he waited for me to enter.

With a small smile on my face, I stood in front of the Devil sitting on his throne, "Sirzechs long time no se-"

Before I could finish my sentence a small boy with black hair came flying into the room, almost tearing the door off its hinges, "Daaaaaad"

He screamed as he jumped into my arms, it appears that the ageing process is still stuck for poor Ezio, kneeling I patted his head before I turned to Sirzechs once more, "I have two requests to make of you, in return for my requests, the girl will live. Request number one, I want Ezio to return to Japan with me, he can't stay in Hell any longer, he will die if he does, I left him in your care and his symptoms have only gotten worse, not better. You said you can fix them by encouraging his Devil side, which appears to have backfired heavily, now I will try my way."

Grayfia was about to protest until Ezio squeak out " I want to go with daddy, the Tree is telling me too, the Tree is never wrong."

Turning to the boy once more, I placed my hand on his head, "The Tree and Apple are wrong more often than they are right, never trust them, I will help you separate their truths from their lies soon, Ezio, wait outside with your Grandmother ."

"Sirzechs my second request is that you allow me to settle in the town of Kuoh, I know this is in your family's jurisdiction, meaning my Son will be safe and Grayfia can easily see him at any given time."

Sirzechs laughed as his aura spread across the room, "You are naive attempting to threaten me with the life of my sister, I will not bend to you Vito, I didn't then and I will not now, I have a cure for that poison, its pure Maple extract right?"

"2 Requests Sirzechs, that's all, test your cure if you want however give her the wrong item and she will die instantly, trust me, I'm a master of Poisons. Grayfia, I will be leaving with my son regardless, do not hold this against me, he will die soon if I don't, the apple has already begun to sap his life force. He needs to eat the other half, the half I haven't consumed, it will stabilise his condition, balance the power of the Tree and his demonic powers. I would have brought it here but I can't trust you or Sirzechs near the apple, it corrupts everyone."

Grayfia sighed and said," You will stay in Kuoh town?"

I nodded my head in response, "And I can see him whenever I want?"

I again nodded my head, Turning to Sirzechs, she bowed and asked" Satan Sirzechs, your queen requests that you save her son."

Sirzechs took a deep breath and gestured towards Rias, I simply clicked my fingers and she arose from the table she was placed on, "A pseudo-poison, it had no chance to kill her only make it seem like she was dying, I hear she has been good to my son, that is reason enough not to harm her."

Sirzechs visibly calmed himself, "Both requests will be granted for you however I want more than what you are offering, tell me, did the Assassins agree to serve the Church?"

A dark smile covered my face, "That they did and before you ask, I will not side with you or the Devils, the coming war will be fought from the shadows, I know you, the Angels and the Fallen plan peace but that's on paper. I will prepare for the war in my own way."

Grayfia laughed, "You plan to recruit sacred gear users?"

I smiled. "You will have to wait and see, a week from now, Myself, you and Ezio should have dinner, like a family, I'm sure he would like that."

I walked out of the room before anyone could react to my statement, I know for a fact that her marriage with Sirzechs is a sham, after all, I gave them that idea. Taking the hand of my Son, I teleported back to my flat in Kuoh. Now the hard part, making sure Ezio survives the ritual...
