6 Chapter 6: Aftermath & School Day

I am now back home together with Jibril.

Of course, I had asked the couple if they had anywhere to stay for the night but they said no so I just took them to one of the many apartments we had purchased. They said they had to go collect the proof inside their hidden bunker but I told them to lay low for now. Obviously, they couldn't go around when they're supposed to be dead in the supernatural world, so I gave them accessories that change their appearance and mask their aura. Now they will work for our yakuza gang to make a living. Plus it's best if they stay close to where I can protect them, or rather where Jibril can protect them since I will be going to school and stuff.

The whole experience felt wild and like a dream. I… I don't know. Is it stupid of me to feel this way?

I stop and look back, staring into the silver-colored moon from the open window while flashes of the scene of carnage pop up in my mind and I'm reminded of how real it actually was. I don't feel anything different about myself, but as I look down my hands tremble over the lives I reaped. Sure, I can just forget about it and act like I did nothing wrong when the devils are literal r**ists and murderers, but it doesn't change the fact I killed them.

There are so many justifications, but those are just excuses.

How are you going to be indifferent to taking a life? How are you going to face your family if they know you've killed someone before? It's a scary thought. But it's something I have to live with, it's something I must deal with, it's something I will overcome. I know I will, not because I have to and not because I am part of the yakuza but because I want to be strong for them. I will always feel melancholic over this, and I know that.

Am I being hypocritical? I suppose, but it's something I am doing of my own free will. And why am I having second thoughts when I've already declared that I will take things in stride? Or at least live with this.

While I was thinking of these things- knowing full well a similar thought process would be awaiting me countless times in the future- I absent-mindedly got myself ready for bed. I then laid down, and as soon as I did I felt a pair of hands smother me into two soft and firm mounds. Right away I knew who it was and honestly, after tonight, I needed this.

I sigh in contentment before telling Jibril my grievances and surprisingly, she's a pretty good listener. I look up at her and as I do, she smiles. It's one of the most gentle smiles I have ever seen, but what she says aftershocks me, "Master, there is no need to trouble yourself over these lesser beings who CHOSE to live like this. Just like you CHOSE to save this couple. I may not be the best at giving you advice when I have taken countless lives, either evil, good or neutral but I know I made the right CHOICE to follow and dedicate myself to you. You still FEEL something even if destruction runs through your blood, it is still helping you through the trauma while I am indifferent when taking lives due to my existence and the war I participated in. I am sure my life will be influenced for the better when I am with you. So thank you for summoning me. It'd make me so happy if I could show you my world… perhaps some day… Now rest up… Sweet Dreams Master~."

She's amazing… I was left speechless and she didn't even give me enough time to respond since she flipped me over and smothered me back into her breasts.

But…it seems… mental fatigue has caught… up to me… or is it the comfort of the hug? Mmm, for a bloodthirsty flugel, she sure smells nice. And before I knew it, I had unconsciously tightened my grip around Jibril as we drifted off to sleep.

"...ter… ster… mas…. Master. Master, you have school, remember? You told me to wake you up in case your mothers come inside."

Hmm…? Is that Jibril? Her voice is pleasant to the ears first thing in the morning… Uhm school? Oh right!

"I'm awake… Thank you, Jibril! Almost forgot haha."

I groggily get up and what greets me is the teasing expression of Jibril. When I'm about to ask what's up, I start feeling something soft in my hands. I squeeze them and they feel firm and supple at the same time. I continue to squeeze them, enjoying the springy sensation but when I squeeze once more, this time a tad bit too hard, I hear something that makes me freeze.

"Ahhhnn~ Master, you sure are bold first thing in the morning." I open my eyes wide enough to see myself lying on top of Jibril, with my hands on her breasts. Her flushed face is sure a sight to behold but onto the main issue.

"Were you the one who guided my hands? I'm pretty sure my arms were wrapped around you when I fell asleep…"

"Master, is that really the first thing you are going to say? You're still squeezing them, you know," she says with narrowed eyes, but the same teasing expression is still present on her face.

"I am not going to lie, the feeling in my hands right now is heavenly so I would rather not stop… But yeah I gotta stop in order to get ready." With that, I reluctantly let go of her breasts and began crawling out of bed. Pretty dramatic change from what happened to me yesterday, all I needed was sleep and some comforting words.

Hmm...

After getting dressed, I am now ready to go. Instead of the regular gray uniform, I decided to go with dark blue slacks, a white shirt, and a dark blue blazer.

Oh! Right, my pendant! Tsk, what with all the wild shit going on, I nearly forgot about it. Let's see, looks like it's inside the drawer. I head over, pull it out, and then proceed to wear it around my neck. Its shape is just like in the anime only smaller but instead of being round at the top it's shaped like a golden heart with three small silver pointed ends going down.

It's been a year since I met them. I was given this pendant as a promise of marriage and being me ended up giving them all a necklace that matched their own features. They were pouting because of how shameless I was, chasing me all over making sure I knew how stupid I was to think all three of them would agree to that arrangement. Which… makes sense, to be honest.

So, we are now treating the pendant I have as a showcase of my promise to them ALL. Not because they agreed to my stupid pronouncement but because they wouldn't go down without a fight and now as proof they wore the necklaces with an exact copy of the key that opens this pendant I have.

Right! School!

[ Would you like me to spin the Daily Gacha Ryu? ]

Oops, I almost forgot about that! Yes, please, Eve.

Looks like they're all accessories. I'll figure out a use for these interesting named things at a later time. I have school to get to after all.

Though I appear to be unfazed by the mention of school, I can't seem to hide my excitement. I try to look up, but I can't really get a good look though I can still feel how my ahoge is literally twitching every which way. The movement is definitely there, but I have no idea how it works. I have to admit, it's still pretty entertaining. I was losing myself for a bit there until I heard my mom calling me from down the hall.

When I glance at Jibril, I remember the corpses of the devil and fallen angel, so I invoke my Arc of Embodiment magic to create a storage ring imbued with my aura and my Sharing is Caring Skill. The coloration of the ring is a mix of fascia and light pink while the gem on top is an amethyst in the shape of a miniature cross just like her pupils. The ring I just made will allow her to use my Aura of Infinity but to a lesser extent.

I then transferred the two corpses and hurriedly placed the ring on her before quickly saying my goodbyes, completely missing the sloppy smile she had on when I placed the ring on her. I contacted her through telepathy to make sure she behaved and to call me if anything happened. But all I got back from her was a creepy laugh and slurry (Yesh Mashter!).

Though I was in a hurry, I replayed what I had just done in my head and understood the misunderstanding I just created. Unless it means something else in her world? Or is it because she's read stuff from the internet here already? Maybe. Of course, I won't just pretend I don't know the meaning behind my actions, I'll take proper responsibility. I did summon her after all. Plus her devotion towards me is something I could clearly feel through our connection. Alright! I've decided! I will face it head-on!

Psyching myself up, without minding the stupid smile on my face, I continue making my way toward the dining area where the clan members are. They're not making any noise whatsoever. Their eyes are literally devoid of any life.

What the hell?! How bad was their beati.. I mean they're training? But they did bring this upon themselves when they should've known better. If they cause a ruckus when my moms are here then they must pay the consequences. Seems like Raku is still sleeping, or did he go ahead of me? Ohhh, he has to meet Megumi Kato at school huh? I see you little brother, seems like you're every bit as kind and considerate. I'm not surprised. Nodding to myself over my brothers' growth I step forward and shout a greeting to everyone.

"Good morning guys! How'd you guys sleep?" I put on a teasing expression but they only turned to me nodded in greeting and went back to eating silently, even Ryuu wasn't spared. Oof, moms, how can you break them so thoroughly?

"Good morning Ryu-kun! I have your breakfast right here, make sure you hurry though. You don't want to be late or make those girls wait, right?" My mom, Miyu, makes her way towards me holding some eggs and bacon while something she says catches my attention.

"You mean they're on their way here?" I ask her, but the one who answers is my other mom, Mamako. Hmm, calling them both moms is a tad bit difficult, so I'll call Mamako, Kaa-chan, and Miyu, Mom. Perfect.

"Hmph, yes. All those girls come every day, not leaving me enough time to be with Ryu-chan. I could even drive you, but they insisted."

"Ahaha, don't worry Kaa-chan, I'll spend some time with you when I come home."

"Ara, how cold of you Ryu-kun. What about me?" I break out into a cold sweat when the sweet voice of my mom reaches me from right behind, so I hurriedly answer her.

"Yes, of course, you too, mom!"

"Hmm, okay"

"Fufufu.."

I gobble up my food, say my goodbyes to everyone, and begin heading out. I pass by the intersection right into the rooms where everyone else sleeps along with some living rooms here and there for guests.

You know what I've been wondering? How do they let three girls walk by themselves to my house, wait, are they dropped off? Perhaps. But we're still walking to school alon- Ah, my yakuza clan owns or rather rules this part of town so there's obviously no way petty criminals will breach our defenses.

Well, I'm glad it's safe.

Once I pass by everything, I make it to the entrance where there is a platform and at the end of it some stairs leading towards the front yard where a winding trail leads towards a huge wooden gateway. The front yard is filled with trees, I believe they're Sakura trees, and Willow trees- just like the ones on my hallway veranda- along with some potted bamboo all around the walls of the gate surrounding the old-styled mansion. It looks even grander than it did in the anime, with black and red still being the primary colors of it all. I'm pretty sure we occupy an enormous plot of land for this, perhaps a whole street is dedicated to this.

"Hmm? Are those voices…?" Right when I reach the wooden gateway, I hear some pretty loud feminine voices. Kaori? Ayaka? Yurika?

Hmm, seems like they're bickering about what the others are doing here and stuff. But don't they always fight over this every time they come here? I'm pretty sure they even plan this out together.

"Ha?! What are you doing here Kaori?! And you, Yurika! Stop laughing like some refined lady!"

Ayaka, Yurika IS from a wealthy family, pretty much a branch family of ours.

"Hmph, what do you mean? I came here to walk together with Ryu, no idea why you even bothered to show up, Ayaka."

We all walk together every day Kaori.

"Fufu, you two sure get along splendidly."

You're just adding more fuel to the fire Yurika. Though the Fufufu laugh is especially popular today huh?

""Like hell we do!!""

"Pfft…"

""Ah, you laughed, Yurika!!""

Silence. Which I suppose means they are staring at each other intently.

"Stop Copying/Imitating me!! AH!""

Alright, it's going to get out of hand at this rate so I open the gate, which quite literally looks like something used by royalty with its grand design, and step out in front of them.

I also happen to notice the oval-shaped lights hanging from the top sides of the gate, and the red-colored fences outline the front walkway leading up to two Japanese lion statues, one on each side. I want to admire this more, but greeting them takes precedence.

"Morning, Yuri-chan, Kaori, Aya-chan! You guys sure are lively first thing in the morning," I chuckle a bit at the end but quickly smile softly at them before they start yelling at me for laughing.

The first one to respond to me was Yurika, she smiled sweetly at me, bowed, and then said, "Good morning, Ryu-kun. We arrived a tad bit too early it seems."

She is a young girl with silvery-blonde hair tied up in a ponytail. She also seems to wear a different outfit like me, but hers is a green blazer with a white shirt and a red ribbon around her neck. And finally, she is wearing a black skirt with green borders.

Her eyes were closed for a while, but when they opened up again I could clearly see the curiosity brimming inside those light brown eyes as they stared at my ahoge. I coughed and when I did she snapped out of her daze and flusteredly apologized. I only chuckled, but that only made her rosy cheeks turn bright red in embarrassment.

Right after she came to Kaori, smiling brightly as she enthusiastically greeted me with a "Good morning Ryu!" Her beautiful golden blonde hair reaches her shoulders with nothing to hold it up. Her outfit is the regular school outfit, but she also wears a red tie with light blue stripes along with a light blue shirt under her open gray blazer.

Her eyes are a pale blue color, but sometimes they shine brightly like the sky when the sun hits them, or whenever she smiles like now. Seeing me dazed, she lets out a triumphant snort and proceeds to mock Ayaka.

But Aya-chan just ignores her and greets me with a small smile tugging at her lips, "Good morning, Ryu-kun. Please excuse Kaori, she's just acting like some hyperactive monkey." She is a beautiful young girl with short icy blue hair with wisps of red, I say short but her wavy hair is cut into a bob with some tufts of it falling just before they reach her deep violet eyes.

Her outfit is the same as mine except she has it in a light blue color along with a pale purple ribbon around her neck. Though she pretended to ignore the smug grin of Kaori, I saw the slightest twitch of her eyebrows that almost made me laugh but I didn't since she caught on and sent me a glare. In return, I only gave her an innocent smile.

And right before Kaori could explode because she was blatantly ignored, I hurriedly intervened, "Now, now, let's not start another fight right in front of the gates we have to get going remember?"

Kaori perked up. "Yes, but is it really something for you to worry about? All the teachers love you," she said with a smirk.

"He's the top student in our school, it's to be expected," Aya-chan said with a snort as if they were her accomplishments.

As we walked side by side, occasionally seeing one of my clan members discreetly peeking at us from the various establishments, I suppressed the urge to roll my eyes. These guys sure worry too much. But on the off chance something does happen, I do feel better that they could intervene to take the girls somewhere safe.

"Hey, why are you acting so smug?! You're a terrible student!" Kaori said to the annoyed Aya.

"Compared to the lil princess right here and the yakuza's young master, of course, I'm not going to be at the top, but I'm way better off than most!" Aya snarled back.

"Oh my, princess? I wouldn't say I'm that special, papa does have active snipers keeping an eye on me but it's not that much of a big deal," Yurika said those terrifying words with an innocent smile on her face.

We could only stare in horror at the precautions Mr. Ichijo, my distant uncle, took for his daughter. Is that guy all right in the head? Why would he comment about such a thing to this air-headed girl? I took a look at the yakuza members around us and I could see them shaking their heads in dismay and amusement. These guys are unfazed. Jesus, fathers taking care of their daughters is something else.

When we finally arrived at the school gates, we said our goodbyes and we were off to our respective classes. I made sure to accompany them all to their respective classes while Yuri-chan and I made our way toward Class-A.

We walked in and were greeted by the boisterous laughter of kids along with some high-pitched squeals here and there. I forgot. I'm still in elementary school… With the way the girls acted I already considered them teenagers, was it my influence?

Though some students stopped what they were doing and took a glance at us, sometimes greeting us with smiles, they still kept doing their own things while I made my way toward the 'protagonist's seat.' I can't really think of it like that since this is an elementary school.

It was situated at the back of the classroom right next to the big window overlooking a small track field and a playground right next to it. Yuri-chan sat on the seat that was adjacent to mine. I didn't really mind it at first but now it bothers me that the seat in front of me and the sea to my right were, for some odd reason, unoccupied.

We're getting transfer students, aren't we? Is this fine?

Hmm, taking a look around, I start to see a couple of familiar faces.

Not from my memories but from the anime in my past life- or at least from what I remember- like Futaro Uesugi, Iori Hashima, Ryota Watari, and Miyoko Sahara.

They were the ones that greeted me with smiles, though Futaro just went back to studying, what you ask? I'm not sure, but he is a hard worker. Wasn't he a troublemaker when he was younger though, ah perhaps the rippling effect of me being here has changed some people or some things. Food for thought.

Watari-kun just went back to bothering Hashima-kun while Sahara-san laughed along with her friends at the guys' antics. When I take another look around, I see some unpleasant faces, don't get me wrong I know they're just kids and it hasn't even happened yet, but the cruelty they showed in the anime movie was not something kids should do.

Indeed, the kids are Shoya Ishida, Naoka Ueno, and Miki Kawai. I'll make sure they turn out better than their counterparts in the movie. I never want to see Shouko Nishimiya getting bullied again. My heart was ripped apart during that movie.
