6 Ch6: We got maids

4 years have passed since the day I came to the Pendragon family's mansion and was accepted by them into the family. They were nothing but nice and friendly with me. Uther and Olivia treated me as if I was their child and Olivia even referred to me as her son, while Arthur and Le Fey also looked up to me as their brother. Because of that, I ended up being the oldest child of the Pendragon family while not even sharing blood or any resemblance.

I have to say, being looked up to by my siblings felt great but kinda tiring as I had to be sure I won't end up doing something dumb that those two would copy it later on.

I also didn't forgot my most important responsibility as their elder brother and used every opportunity to tease and annoye them on daily basis.

But being known as the eldest child of Pendragon family that popped out of who knows where, had its own problems.

For example in ceremonies that were held, I was known as the eldest son and weirdly enough no one asked where I came from or why I don't look like the rest of the family. But Guess it's this world's logic, so I just went along with it.

My training both in swordsmanship and magic progressed as well as I expected. I learned as much as I could from both Uther and Olivia. Due to my learning speed and progress that was faster than Arthur and Le Fey, I was sometimes called by weird nickname and titles much to my annoyance.

And this is where karma strikes, because Uther and Sebastian called me with those titles as a way of teasing because they knew I hate nicknames.

In all life's been pretty Good and thankfully I haven't died again. That might change very soon as I'm going to be getting my first mission from Uther very soon. Talking about missions, I completed a few during these years and gained a couple of tickets to pull for skills and also increased my mana capacity.

'So these are all the things that happened these years.... Mom... Dad....' I thought to myself as I looked at the grave of my parents.

'I'm sorry I wasn't strong enough to be of any help to either of you, I was more like a nuisance in that situation. But don't worry, I'll avenge you both very soon.'

"Kaiser, are you done? you're gonna be late for the meeting with Lord Uther." a soft feminine voice said.

Another feminine voice came after the previous one "Who cares about meeting, Kaiser how about we go on a date after this~"

'Oh right, I forgot to tell you two about them. during these years Uther assigned two maids to me, or more likely Sebastian did as he says it many times that it is his family's pride to serve the Pendragons. apparently, they've been serving them for hundreds of years and the tradition is still alive which is weird to me.'

So after a quick discussion, Sebastian chose two girls from his family, the older of the two was the child of Sebastian's brother, Erina.

Erina has purple-pinkish eyes and long honey-blonde hair that flows just above her lower back. Her side bangs partially cross her cheeks and go down all the way to her neck which in my opinion suits her very well.

The other one is Sebastian's daughter, Alice. before becoming my maid I've seen her a few times before and you can say we're kinda like childhood friends even thought she's older than me by a year. look vise she's a copy of her mother.

Similar to her, She's a fair-skinned girl with short, silver hair that has a longer left hair strand where it initially reaches the bottom of her chin.

They are total polar opposites. Erina takes things seriously and most of the time is strict even though she's a kind person. Unlike her Alice is more childish, she even throws childish tantrums when something doesn't go her way which sometimes earns her a smack from Erina to stop it.

They also aren't your normal maids, from what I've been told and seen, they were blessed with their sacred gears. The way their sacred gears work is that the food they make is enhanced by magic. The food Alice makes has the properties to buff other people's physical stats and more, while the food Erina makes boosts a persona growth over time and doesn't have an immediate effect.

Once again I don't have any idea on how this worlds logic work. why there should be sacred gear that works with food?

But whoever created these gears has my thanks as the food they make tastes great and If it weren't for them, my growth wouldn't have been this outstanding. While the system does help me with magic and many more, it technically doesn't make me stronger physically, so the boosts from these foods helped me alot.

"I'm almost done." I answered Erina 's question while ignoring what Alice said.

I'm just 11 years old while she's 12, isn't that soon to be dating someone? Not like I would know as no one answered that question.

"Hey don't ignore me." said Alice with a pout.

"Let's get going." I said and while getting up I gaving one last look at my parent's grave "Goodbye."

After that, we got out of the cemetery and walked to the black SUV that was parked near the cemetery gates, being rich feels nice.

A person came out of the car and opened the doors for us "Pleasd come in Young master."

Entering the car, Erina sat to my left while Alice took the vacant place on my right side.

'System how many tickets do I have?'

'That much? seems a bit low.'

[Host has gained 8 Tickets from Leveling up to level 42 and 4 more from yearly reward. each year 1 free ticket is given to the host.]

'That's quite Stingy you know right?'

'Anyways what are the available banners? As you told me before each year they change so what are the banners for this year?'

[Other than the Standard banner the banner that is currently available for host is (JJK) banner. Jujitsu kaisen or for short jjk is a world with fantasy and supernatural elements. Curses are roaming around the world which are only visible to sorceress. The said sorcerers use (Cursed Techniques) to fight against Curses and save humanity.]

'Hmm sounds like a fun world, better place than here that is filled with devil's angels, gods, etc. Are these curses that you said sentient beings? like are they capable of thinking and having a thought process or are they just mindless monsters?'

[Only high-level curses. other than them most of them are mindless.]

'I see. does this banner also include Curses or is it just sorcerers?'

[The banner includes curses too.]

'If I use tickets here would Alice and Erina also see them?'

[Only host can see the interaction screen that is displayed by the system. no other being can see or access it.]

'Good then Use 10 tickets on the JJK banner.'

[Notice, Host can consume all 10 tickets for one single character ticket. this special ticket is guaranteed to give the host a character that has a quest to get the skill of your choosing.]

Now this is a hard choice, should I settle for one but a strong character or go for 10 random ones and leave everything to luck?

I would rather not bet on luck, so I'll go with what the system suggested.

Let's hope it's worth it.

The screen lit up and showed many character cards from JJK, and went through all of them at high speed. After a few seconds, it slowed down and finally landed on a character's card.

[Congratulations host has gained the King of Curses (Ryomen Sukuna) Card.]

*A/N: For this, I used a JJK character spin wheel and funnily enough I got sukuna as the first pull, not what I had in my mind but hey I'm not complaining.*

The screen showed a man with four arms, two faces, and a body covered in tattoos. He has four eyes, pink hair, and is usually seen wearing a light-colored kimono. He carried several spears with him in his arms.

'Gonna admit this guy has the drip, well except the pink hair, black would have been better. So tell me what's this guy's quest? do I have to land a hit on him like Yami and Yoriichi character trial?'

[Sukuna character trial is currently unavailable for the host. the system has determined that due to the nature of sukuna's behavior and power, host cannot do anything in front of them]

'...So basically I used all those tickets for nothing?'

[Not necessarily. Host still can use the character card to get a random skill of Sukuna's skillset.]

'In the end, it all ends up with luck.' I sighed 'Go ahead consume the character card and give me a random skill.'

A slashing attack that adjusts itself depending on the target's toughness and cursed energy level to cut them down in one fell swoop.]

[Host can also now use Cursed energy. Host's Mana can be converted to Cursed energy for the use of skills that need cursed energy.]

'The skill says it automatically adjusts how much-cursed energy is needed to cut through something. does that mean as long as I have sufficient amounts of cursed energy, I can cut through anything?'

[Yes. As long as Host has enough Cursed energy.]

Guess my gamble did pay off. tho there is a question that lingers on my mind. 'System was there a stronger skill or technique than the one I got in Sukuna's skillset?'

So you telling me I got a technique like this and this isn't his strongest? now I'm intrigued to know what else I could have got.

As I was thinking about the uses of my newest skill I felt a finger poking my face.

"What are you thinking about? Are you troubled with something? you haven't said anything from the moment we got into the car." Alice Said as she kept poking my face which I didn't mind as her fingers were soft.

"Yeah, I was thinking about a two-faced guy with four arms." I answered honestly.

"If you don't want to tell what you were thinking just say you don't want to talk about it." Alice said while pouting and looking away.

It's funny that sometimes even if you tell the truth people won't believe you. But it can't be helped I guess.

I sighed "Sorry." Not really, as I didn't do anything wrong.

Erina hit Alice on the head "Stop missing with him."

Alice giggled "Sorry I just wanted to see his face when he apologises. but like always he's just staring at us with the same poker face."

She then looked at me again "Anyways what do you think the meeting is about?"

"Father is probably going to give me my first mission. whatever it is I hope it's challenging enough or else I'll be disappointed."

"Isn't it better to get a mission that is easier to complete?"

"For Many it might be. But for me it would be a waste of time if it's easy. The harder the mission is, the more I can test my abilities."

"I'm sure uncle Uther will find a suitable mission for you." Said Alice with a cute smile

"Don't call lord Uther Uncle. learn to respect your elders Alice." Erina reprimanded Alice, which in response Alice just gave an annoyed stare.

While Erina and Alice kept their bickering going, I closed my eyes and slowly fell asleep.
