1 Prologue

A ball of light is floating in a white room. For a few seconds nothing happened as the room and the ball were the only things there. But then the ball of light started to move left and right.

"Where is this?" The sound of a young boy came from the ball.

"Oh so you woke up." Another voice which was more mature was heard.

"Huh? Who are you?" The ball asked.

Then a bright light shone a few metres in front of the ball of light as a being made of light in the form of a human appeared in front of it.

"Whoa!" The ball said surprised.

"Don't be alarmed boy." The being of light said to the ball.

"Who are you?" The boy asked.

"I am a god who presides over reincarnation." The god said to him.

"Wait, so I'm getting reincarnated?" The boy asked him.

"Yes, the good karma you have accumulated in your life is good and so I've decided to send you to another world." The god said to him.

"What kind of world?" The boy asked.

"A world where all the mythological beings spoken in Earth exists. To be more specific, you will be reborn as an Angel of Biblical God." The voice said to him.

"So I'll be reborn as one of God's angels?" The boy asked.

"Yes, do you have any objections to it?" The God asked.

"No I don't." The boy said immediately.

'I mean, I am a Christian so meeting the God of the bible face to face is something that I would want. Not to mention I would also like to know what it feels like to be an angel.' The boy thought to himself.

"Alright, I won't take more of your time. I also have other duties to attend to." The god said as he made several magic circles appear around him.

Then the next moment the magic circles disappeared and the ball of light shone brightly and when the light dimmer the ball was gone. The being nodded to himself as he flashed out of existence.

*In DxD*

In heaven, the place of residence of the angels and the Biblical God. Said God was currently in a room in the seventh heaven as he was getting ready to create another new angel to add to his ranks. There were also a few angel's surrounding him.

They were Helel, Michael, Gabriel, Raphael, Uriel, Raguel, Raziel, Remiel, Sariel, Azazel, Baraqiel, Shemhazai, Yophiel, Asmodai and Azrael.

And even among them, there were five who were much stronger. They were Helel, Michael, Gabriel, Raphael and Uriel. They were the first five Angels created by God and as such have much more power than their siblings. Of course the other angels aren't pushovers but these five were a cut above the rest. Together they are known as the Five Great Seraph's

They were currently here because they have come to witness the birth of an archangel. An angel of the highest calibre who commanded top power among the rankings. They watched as light formed in front of God as the new angel was being created.

The light shone as the shape of a body was starting to form. Then the body began to become more defined as it was being developed. Gabriel clasped her hands happily when she saw it while Michael who was standing beside her was smiling at her reaction.

The other angels were also waiting patiently as soon enough the new angel was born and the light stopped. But what they saw surprised them.

In the place of the light. A teenage boy was standing. That wasn't a problem on its own but the boy had jet black hair and piercing green eyes and fair skin. This of course bewildered them as usually an angel created by God had blonde or blondish hair and bluish eyes so it was the first time they were seeing something like this.

The newborn angel on the other hand slowly looked at his surroundings before he saw the angels surrounding him as he looked at them curiously. Then he turned and looked at God, who had long blonde hair and blue eyes along with a beard. He looked like Michael except that said angel didn't have a beard.

"Welcome my child, I am God, your father and creator. I have high hopes for you and know my child that I love very very much." God said to the angel.

The angel looked at him for a few seconds before smiling at him.

"Yes father." The boy said with a smile.

God smiled when he got the response and the other angels smiled as well.

"What is my name?" The boy asked God.

"Your name is Zadkiel. It means "God is my Righteousness". You are the angel of Freedom, Benevolence, Kindness and Mercy." God said to him with a smile.

"Zadkiel." The now named Zadkiel said to himself as he smiled at the name.

"Now, open your wings." God said to him.

Zadkiel slowly nodded and thought about his wings. He could feel something in his back as if a limb is being held back. He focused on that feeling for sometime before he felt himself lurch forward. Then he heard the flapping of wings and he looked back and found 10 angelic wings coming out of his back.

The angel's were a bit surprised when they saw his wings however as unlike them who had golden wings he had silver coloured wings which was never seen before. God quirked his eyebrows in interest at it but didn't say much but he knew it will be interesting.

"Meet your brothers in here. Your brother Azazel will show you around after it. After seeing around heaven I will give you your official duty. I know you will do great things." God said to him with a smile.

"As you wish." Zadkiel said as he bowed a bit.
