46 Chapter 45

Zadkiel and Gabriel were lying on the bed naked while their wings were covering each other as the two were hugging each other as Gabriel has her face in the crook of his neck and her legs wrapped around his own while the two hugged each other with both having smiles on their faces.

"That felt great Zadkiel." Gabriel said to him with a smile.

"I'm glad to hear that. I think it will be a success." Zadkiel said to her with a smile.

"I hope so too. Can we stay like this for sometime before we get out?" Gabriel asked him with a smile.

"Sure." Zadkiel said to her with a smile as her face brightened before she snuggled to him as he hugged her back.

They rested there for sometime before they got dressed and got out of the room, looking like they hadn't just partaked in the act of lovemaking with how they looked. They looked at each other and smiled as they fixed their clothes a bit further.

"Well, what do we do now?" Gabriel asked him confused.

"Let's meet with Father and talk with him about it." Zadkiel said to her with a smile.

"That's a good idea." Gabriel said to him with a smile when she heard that.

Then the two teleported away and appeared at the doorway to the Seventh Heaven where they found God on his throne. He greeted them with a smile before their talked with her about what they had done.

"For the time being the two of you just go do your respective duties. I think I will have some talk with Gaia about your marriage as well. Maybe we need to have a few more brides for it." God said to him with a smile.

The eyes of the two angels widened when they heard that before they looked at each other before back at their Father who just smiled at them. He gestured for them to go back as they did as they moved out of Heaven. After they had left God has a contemplative look on his face before he smiled.

"Now, let's have a talk with his daughter." God said to himself as he looked at Gaia who is currently in her garden.

Meanwhile Zadkiel and Gabriel had went back to doing their duties as Lilith was beside Zadkiel as she is helping him with things even though she knew he didn't need it but was happy that he allowed her to work with him.

"So, how did it go?" Lilith asked him curiously.

"It was fine. We had a good time." Zadkiel said to her with a smile.

"I see." Lilith said with a small smile as she rubbed her belly.

Zadkiel noticed it as he place his hand over her own as she was surprised by it as she looked at him.

"Are you worried?" Zadkiel asked her with a smile.

"I... Yes, I am. I want my children to be born here. But... considering the circumstances of their birth, I don't know how to..." Lilith said with a worried tone as she held his hand.

Zadkiel smiled at her and got up before wrapping his arms around her as he hugged her and placed her head on his chest as she looked at him.

"Don't worry. Even if that were the case, I care about them as they are my own children as well. You won't have to worry about it." Zadkiel said to her with a smile on his face.

"I know you won't. But... my actions will affect them right. I..." Lilith said worried as she hugged him.

Zadkiel just smiled at her as he calmed her down using his aura as it worked as she calmed down as he rubbed her back.

"They won't suffer for something that they didn't do. I will make sure of that." Zadkiel said to her with a smile on his face which reassured her as she hugged him and smiled.

"I know big brother. I know." Lilith said with a smile as she hugged him, relieved to hear his words of reassurance as her tail moved left and right slowly as he smiled at it.

He calmed her down and then went back to work as Lilith would help him occasionally as she watched him with a smile as she would rub her belly.

Just then a shockwave went through Heaven as it's inhabitants felt it as they stopped working as Zadkiel held onto Lilith and narrowed his eyes at the sudden shockwave.

"What was... Did another God die?" Lilith asked shocked.

"It looks like it. Stay here Lilith, let me go meet with Father." Zadkiel said to her as she nodded to him with a worried look.

He the flashed away and appeared in the Throne room as he saw the other Seraphs and archangel's also being there as well as they looked at each other and inquired about their health before they became relieved that they are fine. Gabriel reached him and he held her hand and rubbed her knuckles as she held his hand as he smiled at her as she returned one before the two looked at God who regarded his children.

"My children, I know that you are worried due to the surge of power you had felt but you don't have to worry. That was formed due to Ymir and Buri fighting against each other in Muspelheim. I have shielded their energies from here so Heaven will be safe.

'Their clash is so strong that their energy can be felt till Heaven itself? I suppose that it should be a given due to them being primordial Gods. And unlike Gaia both of them are deities who know war.' Zadkiel thought to himself as he thought about it.

God looked at Zadkiel for a moment before he looked at the gathered angels.

"My children, you do not have to worry about it, as such you can go back now. I shall make sure that Heaven will not be disturbed by their battle." God said to them seriously.

"As you say Father." The angels said before they all flashed away from the Throne room as he reclined on his throne with a calm look on his face.

Zadkiel had flashed back to his room and looked at Lilith who has a worried face as he smiled gently at her and rubbed her head as she looked at her.

"Don't worry. That was just the shockwave from the battle between two Gods. We are safe." Zadkiel said to her as she calmed down a bit.

"Really. I'm glad." Lilith said as she sighed in relief.

Zadkiel was thinking for a bit before he looked at her.

"Lilith, I'm gonna be leaving for a few minutes, stay here." Zadkiel said to her seriously.

"Got it." Lilith said as she nodded to him even though she was confused.

He then flashed away as he appeared outside Heaven as he hovered in the air. Just as another shockwave hit him as he was pushed back a bit as he opened his wings to stop himself as he felt the surge. But that wasn't the end as more shockwaves was felt by him as he felt them wash over his body.

'They're strong. Very strong. Then again, they are like us in the sense that they were born from Ginnungagap and considering how they are geared for battle.' Zadkiel thought to himself as he felt the shockwaves.

A smile appeared on his lips as he thought about the two powerful beings and the shockwaves that they are releasing that could be felt through this place.

"It appears that I still have a lot of catching up to do." Zadkiel said with a smile on his face.
