19 Chapter 18

A light flashed in the First Heaven and Zadkiel appeared in its place. He opened his eyes and is met with the sight of angels fighting angels as they went at war with each other. He then realised that a few of the angels don't have the Cross symbol on their armor which made him realise that they are Lucifer's.

The other angel's however stopped their fighting when they felt his aura. They turned to look at him with surprised looks when they saw him floating there. Then the angel's without the Cross, who are part of Lucifer's army looked at eachother before leaving their enemy fighters and flying straight to him with their weapons drawn.

"Attack him with everything you have! For Lord Lucifer!" An angel shouted as he covered himself in his aura as the others angel's shouted in agreement.

Zadkiel looked at the approaching angels and sighed as he closed his eyes. The angels were a few feet away from him but he then opened his eyes and then next moment all the angel's that were about to attack him were thrown back by a shockwave. That wasn't all as their armors and weapons were destroyed as well as they fell like flies unconscious. (They have the standard DxD angel armor.)

Zadkiel then waved his hand wordlessly and chains made of Salt appeared as it captured all the fallen angels. The other angels were wide eyed at the display of strength shown by Zadkiel before one Angel flew towards him. Zadkiel noted that it is God's angel.

"Lord Zadkiel, thank you for your help. But what about the war?" A male angel asked him.

"The war is over but we don't have time for that. Is this all the angel's of Lucifer?" Zadkiel asked him.

"No. There is still more." The angel said to him.

"I see." Zadkiel simply said.

He closed his eyes and with his powers saw all of the First Heaven and then the same Salt chains appeared and captured the rest of Lucifer's angel's. They were then promptly knocked out as the God's angel's were stunned when they saw it. But they also looked at Zadkiel in awe at how he was able to defeat so many angels easily.

'Now that I think about it. I have grown quite strong now. Maybe even abnormally.' Zadkiel thought to himself.

"Keep an eye on the angels here." Zadkiel said to the angel to which he nodded.

He then flashed to the Second Heaven and the same thing happened there as he chained the enemy Angel's before moving to the next floors. He then went through the Third Heaven before reaching the Fourth. He looked as the Fourth Heaven is like the last two Floors as the Garden is in shambles. He had kept his aura down so the other angels don't notice him.

He then swiftly created chains which bound the angel's and then being caught off-guard were unable to resist before they we're all captured and knocked out. He realised that Adam and Lilith weren't there so he swiftly left for the other levels. He then went through the Fourth and Fifth Heaven before reaching the Sixth Heaven where the major battle of Heaven is going on.

All the archangels were battling there but he flew as he searched for the two humans. He managed to reach the place where Adam and Lilith were fighting each other. Their fight is creating shockwaves as the angels were staying away from the area. Zadkiel was about to go but he was then hounded by angel's when they noticed him.

He immediately dispatched of them as he flew towards the humans. As for Adam and Lilith they were trading blow after blow. Then Adam got an opening as he punched her in her chest and then sent a punch to her face, chest again, then shoulder and swung her using her leg and threw her away but she corrected herself mid-air and landed.

She then shot towards him as Adam went to her as they got ready to punch eachother. But just before they could Zadkiel appeared between them and caught their fists without any kind of problems as the resulting shockwave did nothing to the black haired angel. The two humans were surprised when they saw him.

"You're back." Adam said with a smile.

"Big brother?" Lilith said shocked.

But Zadkiel gave her a stern look which surprised her. He let go of both of their hands and turned to look at her as he made a barrier around them. He then crossed his arms in front of his chest as he looked at her. Lilith, who initially was elated to see him grew a bit nervous at his stare.

"What is the meaning of this Lilith?" Zadkiel asked her as he gave her the stare.

"Um, big brother. This is... I was fighting Adam to help you." Lilith said to him nervously as she fidgeted around.

"And how in the name of Father was this going to help me?" Zadkiel asked her.

"B-But he left big brother to fight against the Titan's without any reinforcements. Their leader Kronos had killed a Primordial, I didn't want you to die! Big Brother Lucifer said that if we didn't do this then you will die! I couldn't let that happen! I didn't want to lose Big brother!" Lilith said to him as tears came to her eyes.

Zadkiel looked at her as Adam wondered what he would do. Zadkiel himself stared at her as tears started to flow down her cheeks before he sighed. He then looked at her with warm eyes as he placed his hand on her head causing her to look at him as he showed her a warm smile.

"While I don't agree with what you did. I'm happy that you care so much about me to do this." Zadkiel said with a smile.

"Big brother." Lilith said as a smile bloomed on her face.

Zadkiel then hugged her as she hugged him back as she cried on his chest.

"I'm so glad! You're okay! You're here! Uwaaa!" Lilith cried as she hugged him as he rubbed her back and pat her head.

Adam just smiled at this as he didn't say anything. Zadkiel and Lilith stayed like that until Lilith calmed down. Zadkiel then wiped her tears off her face using his thumbs as he smiled at her. Lilith placed her hands on his and leaned on them with a smile.

"Adam, stay with her okay." Zadkiel said as he removed himself with her.

"Yes." Adam said with a nod.

"Big brother?" Lilith asked him.

"Don't worry I'll be fine." Zadkiel said to her with a smile.

He then removed the barrier and then unfurled his wings as they appeared from his back before he shot into the air. He passed many angels before he managed to see Gabriel fighting against Azazil and Azariel. Gabriel is holding her own against them quite nicely as he smiled at it. But he then rocketed to them and making light weapons blocked their weapons.

"Big brother!" Azazil and Azariel said shocked.

"Zadkiel!" Gabriel said with a happy face.

"Hello Gabriel." Zadkiel greeted her with a smile.

He then looked at Azazil and Azariel with a stern gaze.

"Stand down." Zadkiel said to them in a stern tone.

The two girls immediately dismissed their light weapons when they heard that. Zadkiel also dismissed his own light spears as he turned and look at them. He then created a barrier around the four of them as he looked at the two angels.

"Why did the both of you aid Lucifer in his rebellion?" Zadkiel asked them with a stern gaze.

"Be-Because he said that Father wasn't sending you help for the war against the Titan's. We couldn't just stay here while your life is in danger." Azazil said to him.

"But aiding Lucifer in his rebellion?" Zadkiel questioned sternly.

"Big brother Lucifer is very kind so he would most definitely help you as quickly as he could. We couldn't wait any longer when you were fighting there." Azariel said to him telling her reason.

"That does not mean that rebelling against Father is the way to do this. You could've waited." Zadkiel said to them.

"But... we couldn't. Fighting against someone who killed a Primordial as strong as Ouranos. We couldn't keep on waiting." Azariel said to him.

"We just wanted to see you safe." Azazil said with pleading eyes.

"You two..." Zadkiel said with a sigh.

He looked at the two as they looked down before they felt his hand on their head as they looked at him as he pat their heads. They liked the feeling of his head pats. But then he stopped when the sound of an explosion is heard throughout Heaven as they looked up.

To their surprise Michael, Raphael, Uriel, Azazel, Raguel, Raziel, Azrael, Shemhazai, Baraqiel, Sariel, Asbeel and Penemue came out of the smoke created from the explosion as they were sent flying back. Zadkiel immediately dismissed the barrier and flew and used light to grab them as they were surprised.

"Are you okay?" Zadkiel asked them as he appeared in front of them.

"Zadkiel?!" The archangels shouted dumbfounded.

"What happened?" Zadkiel asked ignoring their dumbfounded looks.

"Lucifer, Asmodai and Yophiel grabbed weapons from our armoury, extremely powerful one's and used them against us. Lucifer himself has the Flaming Sword which uses Primordial Fire and the Torrential Sword which uses Primordial Water." Michael said to him.

Before he could say anything the smoke dispersed to show Lucifer who is floating with a victorious smirk but his face turned into a scowl when he saw Zadkiel. Yophiel and Asmodai also saw the black haired angel as their eyes widened when they saw him.

"My brother's, come to my side!" Lucifer proclaimed.

Then the angel's on Lucifer's side flew to his side as they readied their weapons. Seeing this Zadkiel flew higher and hovered parallel to Lucifer as he fully unfurled his silver wings for all to see. Adam, Lilith, Azazil, Azariel, Gabriel and the other archangel's and Angel's looked at the scene with wide eyes. Lucifer stood with his army as Zadkiel stood alone parallel to Lucifer as God's angel's were scattered around him.

"Lucifer." Zadkiel said with a serious face.

"Zadkiel. Time to die." Lucifer said with hate filled eyes.

"No. It's time for Judgement." Zadkiel said as two salt spears formed in his hands as he got in a stance.
