5 5. In Kuoh

After they had decided to go to Kuoh the two of them departed from the Underworld. In the short time that he had spent there he has grown accustomed to his new body and new abilities apart from his sacred gear. Not that he has any problems with it but having more options is better in his opinion.

He is currently on a bus with Latia as they are going it Kuoh and she had already notified the two heirs about it as well. Aaron meanwhile took in the new sights in front of him as the place is new and he has always wanted to go to Japan due to how much influence it has in anime.

He looked at his left hand as sparks of blue electricity played in them as he created a ball of it and juggled it in his hand. This of course caught the attention of Latia as she looked at him with a reprimanding look as he stopped doing it and smiled at her.

She just huffed and looked past him and out the window as he is sitting at the window seat. He has only seen the four seasons of the anime and had only learned about Latia because he was looking at her cousin Diodora.

'On another note, I should find a way to kill that bastard. But I'm not sure if I'm strong enough for it. At least until then I will keep to myself and train to get more stronger.' Aaron thought to himself as he watched the scenery.

Soon, they reached their stop and they got out of the bus before they walked to their destination.

"You know, I was thinking that you would be using a car or something considering how rich you are." Aaron said as he walked with her.

"I didn't see any need for it. Besides, we can just walk in here without any kind of problems." Latia said to him as she walked with him.

"Alright. So, where are we living exactly?" Aaron asked her curiously.

"You'll see." Latia simply said with a smile.

Aaron decided to not ask anything after that and just decided to follow her. After they walked for a while they stopped in front of a gate as she turned to it and looking inside.

"Is this the place?" Aaron asked as he looked at the house.

"Yes. Though I think they went a bit overboard." Latia said as she looked at the house.

"It's more of a mansion if you ask me." Aaron said as he looked at the large house or mansion.

It has relatively enough space around it and the mansion is big as well with it being five storeyed and having large width as well. Surrounding it is a small garden with enough space for two people to walk. Anyone will know that this house belongs to someone rich due to how big and glamourous it is.

"Well, they didn't spare any effort in it." Aaron said as he looked at the mansion.

Aaron opened the gate and Latia entered before he did as well and then he closed it before he walked behind her. They reached the entrance of the mansion as she took out a key and opened the lock. She then entered and he followed inside as he looked at the interior and he is impressed by it.

"Well, your room is on the first floor, as for the other things there are..." Latia said before she started to explain the building to him.

After he explanation was done she looked at him as he soaked in the information he had just got as he nodded to her.

"Okay, I understand. But, what about food? I'm not much of a cook by the way." Aaron said to her as he thought about that.

"Don't worry about it. I can use my magic to take care of that." Latia said dismissively with a wave of her hand.

"Okay, then I have no more worries." Aaron said as he went to the stairs to get to his room.

As she watched him he suddenly stopped and turned to look at her with a smile which confused her.

"By the way, please make sure to keep your end of the bargain okay?" Aaron said to her with a smile on his face.

Latia blushed when he said that as she remembered the deal and she nodded to him with a slightly red face as he went to the first floor.

'I have to keep my end of the bargain. Besides, I don't have to worry that much. He only said that he wants to touch my naked body and not anything more drastic. Even Rias Gremory can do that.' Latia thought to herself with a blush before she went to her room.

Meanwhile Aaron got to his room and placed his things there as he looked at his spacious room and smiled to himself. He then created lightning in his hands as he played with it by making various shapes using it.

'Knowing how Latia is she will definitely go through with the deal. I don't have much of a particular interest in money or luxury, not that I'd have to be worried about things like that when Latia is my king and all. But being a Devil gives me a lot of perks as well.' Aaron thought to himself as he made a web of electricity between his hands.

He knew that becoming a devil came with its cons but the pros are also good. A large lifespan, healthier and stronger body, demonic energy with which he can do whatever magic he can imagine and so on and so forth.

Of course, there's the fact that holy items, light power and things related to the Church might be problematic for him, his sacred games gear can help on that front since it's a neutral type of power, neither holy nor demonic, just elemental.

'I just hope that I am strong enough to stand against some of the heavy hitters in the world.' Aaron thought to himself as he looked at his sacred gear.

His gear wasn't a Longinus class and so it doesn't have many abilities, which is why he has to train harder to get stronger.

'Sacred gears changes with the desire of their wielders. This was at first only a glove and now it encompasses my forearm now and has more power than before as now I can easily deal with fallen angels without much problems. Now I just have to unlock it's Balance Breaker.' Aaron thought to himself as he looked at his gear.

"Thank you God. Ow!" Aaron whispered before whining in pain as he held his head.

'Right. I'm a Devil now and can't say his name without getting a headache. That's another con.' Aaron thought to himself as he remembered that fact.
