33 Chapter 33
Summoning a huge army of Fallen Angels, Issei watched as they all came rushing at him. Bringing his Great Swords into the sky, he simply slammed them down with so much force that the aftershock from the attack annihilated half of the army of thousands of Fallen Angels. Kokabiel widened his eyes upon seeing the feat. He wasn't expecting that sheer level of strength...
Walking through the crumbled school yard, Issei continued carrying his two oversized swords to his side. Seeing the rest of the Fallen Angels, he noticed that none of them were even close to his level of power.
Kokabiel came rushing in at him with his massive speed. Swinging his light spear, Issei wasn't able to react. Being slashed by the light spear, Issei could only grunt. It fazed him slightly, but Issei grabbed onto the end of Kokabiel's leg while he tried flying away. "Where do you think you're going?"
Kokabiel didn't say anything, he simply threw another light spear which shattered upon touching Issei, but it left a small little scratch. Clenching his fist and hearing Kokabiel scream in pain, Issei slammed Kokabiel's body straight into the ground with so much force that it caused a minor earthquake to be felt around the city.

That's his fourth boost... His agility stat was still a lot smaller... but Issei could activate blitz to somewhat bring him to the point where he could react. However, knowing how small his mana pool is... he'll wait until he's in critical danger.
"A brat that can hurt... haven't seen one of those in years." Smiling even wider, Kokabiel regained his composure and shot himself straight at Issei again.
Activating blitz for a moment, Issei was able to see Kokabiel coming at him and activated Iron Flesh in time to tank the blow. However, he wasn't able to react fast enough to land his own blow onto Kokabiel.
"Malevolent Pierce"
With a burst of magic, Issei watched as a dozen light spears shot straight at him. Unable to dodge all of them, Issei simply tanked them all. They didn't hurt too much... but it was enough for Issei to hiss in pain. After making contact with Issei, the light spears exploded causing a massive smoke screen to cover the distance between Issei and Kokabiel.
"You were so confident in defeating me that you made sure to fight me alone... did you really think you would win?"
However, once the smoke cleared... Issei wasn't to be seen. Looking confused, Kokabiel frantically looked around... The moment that he looked up, he saw Issei diving straight at him at speeds he could barely react to. Slamming his swords into Kokabiel, the Cadre was barely able to dodge the attack. However, the sheer power behind the blow, the sheer heat generated, it was enough to burn Kokabiel even if he dodged.
Issei was able to hurt him even if he would miss... this was something that would be a problem. If Issei would land a direct blow... Kokabiel wouldn't be able to recover from it.
"So... the only thing I need to do dodge your attacks." Kokabiel bellowed a laugh before glowing with a golden aura. "I guess... I would need to get serious. Be honored... young one... for you shall be one of the very few to see me fight seriously."

Issei decided that he would also fight Kokabiel seriously.
"I guess... I don't need to restrict myself... Sona and Rias could easily fix the ground... and any damage I may cause."
Kokabiel laughed hysterically, "Come at me... I want to fight you at your best."
Running towards Kokabiel, Issei jumped into the air with his pure strength and zoomed straight at Kokabiel. The sheer speed Issei was moving at from his strength alone was immaculate, but Kokabiel would simply throw a beam of holy light. Expecting for Issei to be blown back...
Issei activated Berserk Wrath...
Penetrating straight through the beam, taking the damage but having so much damage reduction that it wasn't detrimental, Issei slammed his sword straight into Kokabiel wings, the part that Kokabiel wasn't able to dodge with. Burning straight through the majestic wings, Issei watched as the sheer force from his attack was able to even burn his other wing and his back.
"You fucking bastard!" In rage, Kokabiel covered himself with his own energy... becoming one with his energy. "I will KILL YOU!"
"Big words... worms don't talk."
Opening his palm, Issei watched as Kokabiel waited for something. In seconds... Kokabiel had a weapon in his hands. "Yes... I will be... one of the very last users of Excalibur... be grateful young one... for you will fight me while I use Excalibur."
"Do you think you can defeat me with this sword in my hand?" In seconds, Kokabiel empowered his entire sword with a golden aura... holy energy began accumulating in the sword. Issei simply watched this without having any reaction. The moment when Kokabiel felt that it was time... He screamed, "EXCALIBUR!"
Slamming the sword into the ground as a huge jet streaming beam of holy, divine energy shot straight out of the sword. The ear piercing sound that came from the beam had bothered Issei, but the man simply stood in front of the beam...
Responding to Kokabiel's earlier remark, Issei only said, "Nah, I'd win." Before the entire beam of energy engulfed Issei...
"ISSEI!" The voice of Rias could be heard as everyone had to shield their eyes. Artemis, who was watching from afar widened her eyes before gripping onto her bow. Her heart was racing as she began sweating from fear... there was no way that her beloved was dead...
Rias could only collapsed to her knees... her hero had died... tears began streaming down her face as she tried wiping them. She didn't know what to say... Issei was dead...
Once the smoke cleared... There stood a body. Issei simply had his sword in front of him while activating Iron Flesh and Berserk Wrath and using his magic to make a small barrier around himself. Tanking most of the blow, Issei was still standing strong with more than half of his health points. He was just... way much of a fucking tank.
Kokabiel could only widen his jaw in shock as Issei stood with only burn marks and minor bruises. His entire shirt was melted off while his pants were saved thanks to his sword tanking the blow for them. "Is it my turn?"
[Boost]
Walking towards Kokabiel while the Cadre could only watch in on fear... What was he going to do? He just tanked... Excalibur to the face with only minor injuries.
[Boost]
"I forgot... I can get much stronger the more I boost... sometimes I'm an idiot." Hearing Ddraig laughing in his mind, Issei couldn't help but roll his eyes.
[Boost]
"I think it's time to end the fight."
Leaping into the sky, Kokabiel watched as Issei began empowering his weapons with magic. While the smoke was covering him, Issei had bought a mana potion to recover his mana after using most of it to defend himself.
Kokabiel was prepared to dodge the same attack he expected... However, he wasn't expecting for Issei to throw his Great Sword. Piercing straight through the sky and stabbing right into Kokabiel's right leg, the Cadre could only grunt in pure agony. However, that was short lived as Issei was right in front of him with his Black Knight Great Sword ready to deliver the final blow. Slamming his sword into Kokabiel, the Cadre couldn't even feel pain as he exploded into thousands of black feathers...
"Sometimes... A bonk is all you need."

Anyways... Issei wondered what type of equipment he was going to get? He was really hoping for the legendary rarity... At least bare minimum he wanted something that he would be able to use.

Squealing like a child when he obtained the armor, Issei couldn't help but be like a child upon obtaining the chest plate. Surprised that he hadn't heard anything from Ddraig... he suspected that the old dragon couldn't see anything system related.

Shutting off his communication with Ddraig for now, Issei was met with a slap from Artemis. Turning to see her, Issei was shocked to see her with tears rolling down her face. The most beautiful woman that he has ever meant was crying in front of him. It hurt him seeing someone who's so special to him being this hurt.
"What happened?" That was all that he could say. Issei was going to be in some serious trouble.
