They waited for the giant of a man to finish his prayer before greeting him. After five minutes the man got up and walked towards them with a small smile on his face.

"So Dulio, this is the friend you guys talked about yesterday" the man said as he looked at Aizen.

"Very strong indeed. I am Vasco its a pleasure to meet you young one" Vasco said introducing himself.

Aizen smiled and greeted him back. "Its a pleasure to meet someone at such a high position, I am Aizen and the pleasure is mine" Aizen said putting out his hands to which Vasco shook firmly.

After the introductions were done they walked to the back of the church and walked to Vasco's office to converse with him.

Reaching the office Vasco gestured for them to sit on the couch in the corner of the room. Aizen and Dulio did just that before Vasco walked into the corner of the room and brewed some coffee.

"So what brings you guys here. Don't you have classes" Vasco asked.

"We got excused from our teacher" Aizen answered.

"Boring isn't it. Learning things you already know" Vasco said as he looked towards Aizen.

Aizen looked at him and chuckled before agreeing with him. "So how is Merlin" Vasco asked.

"So you knew who I was form the beginning" Aizen asked making Vasco chuckle.

"Of course I knew, who else do you think helped could help you get into the school in a single day" Vasco said laughing a bit.

"So how did you know him" Aizen asked.

Vasco stopped laughing as he kissed his teeth before speaking "That old bastard started a fight with me".

Aizen hearing this laughed and said "So he beat the shit out of you huh".

Vasco got embarrassed and rubbed the back of his head before nodding. Aizen turned serious and said "You're lucky he didn't train you. It was terrifying".

Dulio hearing them talk about Merlin was confused. "So who's this Merlin" Dulio asked.

"Probably the best magician out there. Not only is he good at magic but his body weak like other magicians taking. But he still doesn't hold a candle to me" Vasco said as he puffed his muscular chest out in pride.

Aizen smirked as he said "He still beat you didn't he".

Vasco kissed his teeth as he said "Tsk, he was just lucky" making Aizen and Dulio laugh.

"Anyways I'm pretty sure Merlin told you about what I'm planning on doing after the end of the year" Vasco said making Aizen nod and Dulio look at them in confusion.

Vasco looked at Dulio and said "I'm planning on taking the strongest student in your grade as a disciple. There's already one girl who is able to wield my Durandal but I have yet to make her the next wielder of it and if by chance there is someone stronger and more fit for the holy sword I will chose them".

Hearing this Dulio's mouth opened wide in shock. 'If I get first I will be able to wield a cool as sword' Dulio thought with his eyes sparkling.

Seeing Dulio act like this Vasco smiled and thought 'Well its to be expected. After all I am the highest ranking Cardinal'.

"No need be shy Dulio, I understand you want the opportunity to be my-" Vasco was then cut off by Dulio who said "So you're saying if you pick me I can wield a big ass sword. Sign me up".

Hearing this Vasco's eyes twitched a little wile Aizen burst out into laughter.

"Vasco is there a way to have both me and Dulio as disciples. After all there's no doubt that Dulio and I will take the top two spots" Aizen said making Vasco think for a minute.

"I guess that fine but only one of you guys will get the sword" Vasco said.

"That's fine" Aizen said.

'Plus I'm planning on making a skill to copy weapons anyways. That way I can exploit the gifting feature of my Sacred gear' Aizen thought as he started thinking about all the skills he will end up making.

"I have one more question Vasco" Aizen said.

"Go ahead" Vasco said he walked back tot he corner of the room and got his coffee. He the walked back towards them and sat down across from the two.

"As you know exorcists have partners. I want to be paired with four other people when on dangerous missions. I want Asia, Veronica, Jack and of course Dulio on my team. As for the regular partners make it so Dulio and I are together. I don't want some weakling watching my back after all" Aizen explained.

"Hmmmm, I guess I can do that. A lot of exorcists make teams. As for Dulio being your partner I can easily make it happen" Vasco said.

Dulio looked towards Aizen and said "I can count on you watching my back, but do you think the others are strong enough. I mean sure they're strong in our age group but can they fight against devils and fallen's who use underhanded tricks. Not only that but would they even be able to kill".

Hearing them debate about this Vasco decided to step in. "Hmm, I can do you a favor and train them a bit. After all, the stronger the team is, the stronger the church will be. Plus I already know you guys will be the top two, after all, one was trained personally by Merlin and the other has the second strongest Sacred gear".

Both Aizen and Dulio happily agreed to the plan and after talking for a bit longer they came to the conclusion to keep the secret of the holy sword to themselves.

They were about to leave but before they could Vasco told them to go tomorrow again to begin their training.

"Oh and make sure its just you two. Ill train the others on the weekends, you two will have it everyday except the weekends" Vasco said before the two walked away.

And like that two years passed and Aizen was finally 15 years old .
