8 8. Rating Game 3

"You're at your limit already Rias. I'll give you one last chance, consider this the final act of mercy I'll give you as your husband-to-be. I won't even make fun of you or your servants... It's checkmate, surrender yourself Rias." Riser said, seriously. His tone is far from his usual mocking tone he had. His eyes stared directly on Rias.

Rias who saw this felt differently from before. The Riser today is different from the usual Riser she knew. He was frivolous, overly confident, looks down on everybody who is lower than him, and tons of hateful personality. However she had to admit that he's being particularly being 'gentle' with her. Even before this, he's always been indulging her of her wishes. Though he might be a pervert and had a intimate relationship of his harem of female servants despite having a fiance, Riser was also the same as her. Bound by their family's wishes.

Rias began to realize. In Riser's perspective, he had always suffer humiliation getting rejected and metaphorically slapped in the face by rejection of their engagement. However he was in no position to cancel it since both the family heads and even the Maou Sirzechs also wished for this. He didn't have a choice but to continue this marriage even if he suffered humiliation.

Though it didn't hold the fact that marrying him would bring great benefits to Riser as the Maou's brother-in-law.

Today Rias didn't find Riser as detestable as before, but has a certain level of respect for him as fellow Devils, and King's of their own respective teams.

A smile appeared on Rias's face.

"Shut your mouth Riser. I won't give up! They knew the outcome? I have no more choices? Me, the King, is still active you know?" Rias laughed fearlessly.

But still, even if that so, Rias still stubbornly refuse and selfishly rejects Riser's mercy.

"Very well let's end this, Rias." Having had enough of it, Riser was at the end of the last drop of his patience he could give to Rias.

"Super Phenex Transformation."

WHOOSH!!!

Intense Hellfire consumed his whole body. His aura significantly spikely rose above than what anyone could believe. It was reaching the realm of the legends.

"SCREEEECH!!!"

The cry of the legendary bird of fire Phoenix echoed through the entire battlefield. Riser's aura turned so intense the entire artificial space could barely even hold stably from the weight of his aura.

A legendary bird of fire manifested behind Riser. It's majestic feathers made of hellfire, his talons as sharp as the sharpest swords, it's wings so gigantic it covers the entire sky.

Seeing Riser's transformation, Rias is now visibly shocked.

"Riser-sama! You have exceeded the power required to sustain this artificial space. If you continue this, it will be extremely dangerous!" Grayfia's voice could be heard from the announcement.

However Riser paid no heed of Grayfia. This is the moment he has been waiting for ever since he reincarnated.

"BOOST!"

Then suddenly they heard the voice of the Dragon in the Sacred Gear on Issei's left hand.

"Let's do this, Boosted Gear!"

"EXPLOSION!"

"I've kept you waiting Buchou! This is the limit of the power that I acquired that I could give you." Issei said.

Ever since earlier while Rias and Riser were fighting fiercely. Issei was silently accumulating his power and Boosts himself to the limits that he could. A couple of minutes late Issei manage to accumulate twelve boosts from the Boosted Gear before reaching his limits. His plan is to use his newly acquired power in this.

"Buchou, I'll leave it all to you! Boosted Gear Gift!"

"TRANSFER!!!"

Whoosh

A terrifying amount of demonic power flowed into Rias exponentially increasing her overall power by 2¹². Even Rias could barely control the power she was just given to.

"Issei!"

Issei collapsed and lost consciousness. He really went beyond his limits on this giving it all he's got.

"Rias Gremory-sama's Pawn retires."

Seeing Issei's body slowly disappear, Rias teared up.

"Thank you." Rias closed her eyes.

She then faced Riser with all seriousness on her eyes.

"I will give it all in this final attack." Rias said.

Riser was right earlier, she had already spent most of her demonic powers. The only shot she got on winning now is to squeeze every last drop of her power and send a final attack. With Issei's Gift, her powers are beyond any High class devil could ever muster. Maybe even reaching the ranks of the Maou.

On her palms gathered dense amount of the powers of destruction. It turned into a black hole of destruction. The purity of the Destruction of this ball was unlike ever Rias has conjured before.

"Just like I ask for! Come, Rias! Throw everything that you've got and experience the despair of defeat! Be it the power of Destruction or a Dragon, I'll let the world know how terrifying the might of the Phoenix can be!"

The gigantic Hellfire Phoenix and the ball of Destruction collided causing extremely powerful explosion.

CRACK

Cracks begun to spread out from the sky into the ground. The fabric of space could barely withstand the amount of power colliding into each other.

BOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!!!!!!!
