15 Visit

Before departing from China, Cao Cao visited the village where grew up.

It was certainly nostalgic for him. Seven years ago, he was just going around the entire village, harvesting wheat and killing monsters, wondering what he would do in the future.

Now? He finished the hellish training that those Buddhas gave him and was about to explore the world.

For someone like him who experienced poverty in this world. This may have been impossible. However, he has the True Longinus on his side. It's his fate to be great and leave his previous life.

Something that most people don't have.

"Seven years huh?" Cao Cao dispelled Kinto-un and landed in front of his old house.

Seven years have passed and the entire village has changed, even the house he once lived in has now been desolate and abandoned.

"... Did nothing change?" From what he remembers in the original novel, Cao Cao's family hanged themselves due to debt. They have received the payment after selling their child but due to their incompetence, the money that they got, eventually lost and was put in even more debt, therefore causing them to kill themselves in order to 'escape' the debt collectors.

But it shouldn't happen here, his master gave some treasures and even hypnotized them.

Is this their fate? Whatever happens, there are things that wouldn't change?

"Young man, what are you standing there for?" An elderly voice coming from his behind asked him.

Looking back, Cao Cao saw an old man with a cane walking towards him.

"I'm just wondering what happened to the people who used to live here." The hero's descendant gestured at his old house.

The old man looked at Cao Cao. His unique clothing and the expensive looking cloth on his waist, plus the oppressive atmosphere around him makes him look like a royalty.

What does a royalty looking child doing here?

"Uh, I apologize young man but I do not know myself. All I know is that they left one day."

'They left?' Cao Cao, "Are they kicked out by some people?"

"People? No, from what I heard, they leave because of the wealth that they have. Maybe because they feel they don't belong here anymore?" The old man shook his head. As someone who has been here since he was born, he had looked down on their choice to abandon their homeland.

He knows those husband and wife, they were, they were…..

Who are they again?

Hearing the old man, Cao Cao was lost in thought. They left? That was a relief for him that they weren't forced out by debt collectors and were even well off after. He was also a little sad that he didn't get to see them.

Maybe it's for the best.

"Is that so grandpa? Thank you." Saying his thanks, Cao Cao left. His goal here is done.

Seeing the teen, the old man scratched his head, he feels that he knows the kid somewhere but can't remember where.

"So where am I gonna go now?" Cao Cao asked himself while riding Kinto-un in the skies.

After leaving the village, the hero descendant immediately took a flying trip to clear his mind.

There's no reason for him to stay there as his parents were not there anymore. He also doesn't know where to find them.

This may sadden some people but for him, as long as they're alive, fate would make a way for them to meet.

This is more acceptable compared to their original path.

"Do I go to Azazel now to have my Sacred Gear studied? Or go to the Vatican and establish my team first?" He finds it hard to choose. Judging by his and Bikou's age, there should be at least 5 to 6 years before the main plot starts.

Although he's more inclined on learning about his Sacred Gear, he also feels that if he didn't find the original members of the Hero Faction in this timeframe, then he might lose them for good. They have their own unique backgrounds after all.

"But exorcism huh?" The Vatican is located in Europe, same with Romania.

Should he rescue the possessor of Sephiroth Graal? If he remembers it correctly then Qliphoth shouldn't have made any contact with the Tepes Faction yet as they didn't know if the existence of other worlds are real until Issei got his first Boob Goddess revelation, whatever that means.

Although it would've been beneficial in the long run and even stop Rezivim's plan, he doesn't have anything backing him up. At the end of the day, the Tepes Faction is still a faction. It'll be hard to succeed while simultaneously avoiding them in the future.

They won't be happy that their treasure was taken away from them after all.

"What a pain." Cao Cao sighed. Despite this, he knows he can't leave the girl there for too long or else she would be broken. Even without Rizevim, her brother would still be there to torment her and abuse the grail's power.

The sooner she got out of there, the better. For her, and for the world.

Shaking his head, Cao Cao decided to think about these things later on.

"So this is London huh?" Standing at the top of an old looking building, Cao Cao looked at the busy streets below him.

He has always wanted to visit London, it's something that he wants even in his past life.

It does feel odd though, maybe because he's Asian?

Or maybe because he has spent most of his years in this world living in a mountain? He's not used on many people after all of those monk exercises.

"How to start from here?" Cao Cao sat crossed leg and contemplated. He doesn't know the background of most Hero Faction members. He does know that Siegfried and Jeanne were in Church while Georg was studying in Grauzauberer. Other than that, he doesn't know about the other member's whereabouts.

"Ugh… this is gonna be hard." He lay down and looked at the sky. This is his way of clearing his mind.

The only way to contact George is through Azazel with his connections to Mephisto, and the only way to contact Jeanne and Siegfried is through the Church.

He knows that once he does either of those, then he's gonna spend a long time on either the Church or Grigori. He needs to rescue Valerie Tepes before he enters that organization.

"Fuck it! Nezha didn't teach a coward," Cao Cao grunted, "But Master also didn't teach a reckless idiot."

Stretching his waist, he made up his mind.
