13 Chapter 13: Years

Yamato leaned against his chair his eyes closed in deep thought, it had been a couple of months since Kokabiel's visit, and An intricate map of his laboratory was behind him.

The laboratory was set up like a normal house but just underground, To the center was Yamato's main laboratory beneath the hidden orphanage where he was currently, the hallways that went out from the main laboratory and that connected the various rooms, such as Yamato's main office and storage rooms, were filled with the various failed experiments in glass cages.

To the very south of the main laboratory was the minor vassel laboratory which was where Kashin was contained.

Yamato's ear twitched as he heard glass shattering coming from the minor laboratory, he quickly stood up a magic circle appeared underneath him as he swiftly teleported to the area.

The sight that greeted him was horrific even by his standards, It was Kashin having exploded out of the vat of blood with the thick liquid, dying every single inch of the floor with that disgusting fluid, it didn't smell particularly nice either.

His hair was dyed with blood pushing himself up with his hands, his face remained exposed and not covered though the most unmistakable thing about him was his left hand which had become like a claw, It was monstrously disfigured with a dark brown color running from the elbow to the wrist and a pure black palm sharp fingers that seemed like they could rip apart metal effortlessly.

The young boy from earlier was beside Kashin his eyes filled with disgust.

His right hand was covered in dark blueish rune patterns turning into a similar Claw Shape and he was clearly about to put down Kashin for good.

"Arjuna what're you doing?" Yamato said calmly his mere presence stopping the red-haired boy in his tracks.

"L-Lord Yamato I'm merely getting rid of a pest for you…" Arjuna answered stiffly his body completely still in submission.

"You little …" Yamato grabbed a metal beam and slammed it into Arjuna's head sending him crashing into the walls.

"Did I permit you to touch my experiments? You're nothing but fodder know your place…" Yamato said calmly he wasn't very angry or emotional just offended that Arjuna had taken action out of turn.

Arjuna was one of his many failed experiments but was slightly different.

Rather than just using randomly kidnapped devils or humans he made Arjuna through DNA samples of the Indian mythological hero Arjuna, the original.

He had thought with Arjuna's great physical prowess, his clone would be better suited to harness the natural energy, however, it proved to be wrong.

As Arjuna himself couldn't fully reach that desired 0:1 ratio rather than only meeting a ratio of 5:1 another disappointment.

"B-but lord Yamato he's not suited-" Arjuna said waking out of the rumble, with not even a scratch on him something as light as some falling debris couldn't even penetrate his skin much less hurt.

"Quiet…" Yamato commanded before walking up to the still-stiff Kashin whose eyes were confused and hazy.

His clawed left hand was like that of a lion claw without fur, it looked heavy and dense you'd think it'd be hard to maneuver but it was anything but that.

As soon as Yamato was within a foot range of Kashin his eyes twitched and locked onto Yamato, his clawed hand moving like a whip that was determined to tear everything in its path as it struck hard at its creator.

Yamato dodged taking steps in succession closer to Kashin before his hand firmly planted itself onto Kashin's left shoulder ripping it off its joints and connective tissues with very light effort.

A mass of blood veins and various bone tissue was revealed underneath as Kashin doubled over in pain making animalistic growling noises.

"Seems like I overestimated how much natural energy you can take at once…but it's not all bad it seems like your regeneration is…" He didn't finish his sentence for he didn't need to.

The previous stump of a shoulder on Kashin was slowly recovering already, with the bone mass and muscle tissue underneath already reconstructing themselves.

"Truly a masterpiece of my creation… you're able to change your body composition too…though I wonder if you're able to already use the four natural forces…" Yamato remarked Arjuna was able to use the four natural forces but to a slightly lesser degree than satisfactory.

"Lord Yamato...please let me kill him." Arjuna from the side said obedience in his every movement.

Already very dissatisfied In his heart that Yamato had another person he considered important, to him only Yamato his lord and creator existed because who else was he other than his most loyal servant?

How dare another person dare try and claim his spot as the right hand of his lord?

"Arjuna for the last time… don't speak unless I give you permission," Yamato said mildly irritated.

5 years later

Kashin growled his arm extending beyond human proportions as it pierced the heart of his monstrous assailant.

Said assailant was a large monstrous black tiger-like beast with disgusting red warts growing around its entire body, Its eyes were bug-like and pure green, a nature energy monstrosity or rather an innocent person forced into becoming one.

"Gravity 2x," he whispered as He tugged his arm like a whip it split his enemy into two its organs bursting out with black blood spilling everywhere.

"Good job Kashin…You have grown exponentially over the years." A clap and an almost mocking voice were heard over the darkness as Yamato appeared in all his glory a white robe covering his frame.

"Hn." Was the silent response that met him Kashin's eyes were cold and apathetic when he met Yamato's his face devoid of emotion, The torture this man had put him through was enough for a thousand lifetimes of apathy.

"Aw don't be so grumpy we're finally going to a different place today! Some Youkai establishment." Yamato said cheerfully while using a natural energy-enthused hand to slap Kashin to the point of his nose and teeth breaking.

"And that's for speaking out of line." His actions and temperament spoke completely different lines, Kashin wasn't even speaking.

"Can we kill people while we're there?" Arjuna said lazily leaning against the walls as Kashin's nose and face recovered.

"We will do plenty," Yamato replied cheerfully his voice containing a sick excitement unlike Arjuna and Yamato, Kashin lacked the excitement of killing but rather just a dull boredom for all of this.

"We go to the nekoshou territory first we have some things to collect there," Yamato said offhandedly.

"Dead bodies or soon-to-be ones?" Arjuna asked dullness in his eyes were already bored of this.

"Soon to be ones."

Thought I'd be nice to add some more monstrous elements to nature's energy rather than it just being "peaceful" The whole claw thing is to show that once a balanced ratio is maintained monstrous abilities are to be able to be welded properly.
