[Richter's POV]

For me, keeping his calm was the best code of action for the time being.

"Are you worried about the Treasury Realm?" Grayfia asked from beside me, our hands clasped together like a couple.

We were walking through a city, catching everyone's eye. She was dressed in her golden maid attire while I was sporting golden trousers, a formal shirt, jacket and shoes, everything golden; it was similar to some I saw other devils wear, she called this a 'suit'.

Eventually, we found what she called a restaurant, a rather fine shop in the Lucifuge Territory, the place she recalled was where her family lived, except that in the past, it wasn't this big or technologically advanced, in fact... Grayfia said this had been a wasteland.

Grayfia explained a lot of things to me, she was surprised at how much this world had changed since the last time she was here.

"No, I'm not worried about my stove per se... every single treasure of mine is marked, and the gold corrosion should still be in effect, if anyone is bold enough to take my treasures while I'm not there, I will be able to trace them back, however... I'm worried about something else" I opened up to her, perhaps my secretism was also one of the reasons why she kept things from me in the first place.

"What?" Grayfia asked, holding my hand.

"My wife's tomb..."

"T-That..." Her lips shivered in realisation, why there were caves that I never allowed her to tidy up.

"My wife Monique... her tomb is in Goldstein; a concealed cave... it has no access but if it is any of those bastard primordials... they would be able to enter," I said with gritted teeth if anyone dared to profane my wife's tomb... I don't know what I'm going to do to that fucking multiverse.

Destiny or Nebulous are gonna have to pay for it.

"Is that one of the caves you didn't want me to enter?" She asked, clenching my hand from the other side of the table.

"Yes... moreover, my greatest treasures are in that cave... I made it into a concealed dimension... the [Primal Spark] is in there. Whoever wants to enter and rob anything will have a difficult time reaching that cave, moreover... only three primordials know of its existence. If it is plundered, I will at least know who it was that did it."

"Who?"

"Destiny, Nebulous, Ether and the Primordial of Life, they're the only ones that know. Let alone the Primordial of Life and Ether are unable to enter, only Destiny and Nebulous can".

"..." There was relief in Grayfia's sight, I think she's more worried about the gold than me, I'm not worried about the gold. The authority to create and destroy gold belongs to me. I'm more worried about the other treasures which she arranged.

In any case, one of the things that surprised me was my lack of concern... perhaps if Grayfia wasn't here, everything would be a lot different.

"You don't need to be downcast, if people steal my treasure, that only means we're going to need to travel to a lot of places in Helius and pay a lot of 'visits' when we come back~" I smirked, placing my hand on her soft cheek.

She held it and smiled nodding, I was doing my best to not make her feel guilty. As my first apostle, Grayfia was very important to me.

She spoke with the restaurant people and ordered something for us to eat, we didn't have the currency but Grayfia said it shouldn't be a problem since gold is accepted as payment regardless of wherever we are.

I trusted none of those three women were after the Primal Spark, I'm more inclined to think that the entity's purpose is to isolate me from Primordial Gold by throwing me into another separated multiverse altogether, but... that entity failed. I'm still connected to my Primordial Gold in Helius... I'm merely lacking the resources to open a portal right now since I don't know the 'direction'.

Not only that, the Primal Spark is still in my body, so long as it is here, regardless of now or in a million years, I shall remain as Primordial Gold.

My confidence seemed to reassure Grayfia's exasperation... I know she feels guilty and by all right, I should be blaming her... but her authentic behaviour tells me that she doesn't know what is going on herself... we were sent here even before she managed to 'conquer' my heart, which confuses us both.

Grayfia looked all around her longingly, she looked gorgeous with those golden strands of hair.

I leaned forward and without giving her a warning, stole her lips.

I never closed my eyes, witnessing the surprise and infatuation show in her silver ones for but a moment before the kiss escalated.

*COUGH!*

Someone coughed beside us, making us separate... it was the restaurant's service that brought the plates for us, a dish I had never seen.

"I hope you enjoy it, master" the guilt seemed to be ridden from her mood the moment I kissed her, my maid is a relatively simple individual... a kiss seems to be enough to change her completely.

"What is this plate?" I asked, casting all problems aside and focusing on her.

"It is seafood hotpot, there are a lot of new plates that even I don't know of... but this had always been one of my favourites~" She looked at me expectantly and even waited for me to start before she took her scoop, like a proper maid.

I had a 'shrimp' and tasted it for a while before swallowing it, it was nice indeed.

"It is tasty"

"Really? I will cook it for you from now on~ what did you use to eat master?" Grayfia began having her dish and held her cheeks in wonder upon tasting the first scoop; she had missed it quite a bit it seems.

"What have I eaten all this time? I used to eat until I became a Dragon Emperor... what I ate was mostly dragon flesh..."

Her spoon fell.

"Huh? but master, isn't that... cannibalism?" She gave me a half-lidded smile, as if not caring about me doing it, just surprised.

"Dragon flesh, tiger flesh... lion flesh... as long as it was something strong, I'd eat it. Dragon flesh is naturally the best of fleshes" I smirked, whispering in her ears, after all, she had already 'devoured' me once.

"..." Grayfia blushed and moved her head away, "You're a pervert, master".

"Moreover, I even ate my tail several times" I spoke almost pridefully, what can I say, from all the fleshes I had, mine was the tastiest... the more powerful the dragon, the more flavorful the flesh, so it was natural.

"What?! Why?!"

"When you need to survive, it doesn't matter what you eat. Moreover, I'd eat my tail again to see how it tastes now".

"P-Please don't do that... you won't need to eat your flesh anymore, master... I'll make sure that your dishes are tasty every day!" She seemed concerned as if I was genuinely going to take a chunk of my tail right now and eat it.

I'm sure more than a few people would puke if I did that.
