Golden Peerage II

The 'astronomical' event was breathtaking, to say the least. The set of pieces was finished, floating in front of me and Grayfia's awed gazes.

Two Queens, Two Bishops, Two Towers, Two Knights and Three Pawns.

I felt a connection to all of them similar to what I share with Grayfia, so this will allow me to give apostle-ship to anyone I desire willingly.

"I have never seen anything like this... every single one of them... mutated" Ajuka gasped, when he tried to touch any of the pieces however, a small golden lightning discharge rocketed his hand.

*BOOOOOMMMMMM!!!*

Ajuka was sent flying like a cannonball, Sandalphon managed to catch him in time, and both of them looked at me in fear.

"Boy... I didn't do anything, it was the pieces" I remarked, amused. So these pieces are just as prideful as I am.

"I-I see... t-they must not want anyone else to touch them, how ridiculous" Ajuka dusted himself off with Sandalphon's help and took a flask of Phoenix tears, his hands were burnt.

"So you're telling me that by giving these pieces away... I can allow someone to become my apostle?" I took all of them in my hands while Grayfia stared at the Queen pieces longingly, she then evaded my gaze when I looked at her, how amusing.

"I don't know, but at the very least the person who inherits your piece will receive immense powers from you, he or she likely won't be reincarnated as devil but instead, something else..." He remarked, slightly regretful.

I imagine he wanted to study these pieces but, the pieces themselves wouldn't allow him to inspect them.

I took one of the Queen pieces and turned towards Grayfia who gulped a mouthful and turned towards me with infatuated eyes.

"M-Master, there is no need to-" She began.

"Stop your nonsense, you want this don't you..." I place the pieces in front of her eyes and she nodded.

"I want it... the Queen piece" she confessed, it is natural... if she didn't want it, I'd be disappointed and perhaps a little heartbroken.

"Then have it, this one belongs to you, Grayfia~ you're my mate".

I placed the piece in her chest and it was absorbed into her body. If what Ajuka says is the truth, then she doesn't really need this piece... she already has my golden scale in her and is recognised as my apostle, so I didn't need to give it to her.

Grayfia smiled, holding her chest with tears.

"This is the fourth thing you have placed inside me, master~ thank you, you have marked me yet again".

'Oh?' My scale, the Heart Lineage and this Queen Piece, what's the fourth?

She blushed for some reason when I tried to ask her.

"Ohhhh~" Sandalphon giggled together with Ajuka, these kids!

Anyway... Grayfia is my mate, my maid and my first apostle... I have to give her the status that rightfully belongs to her, such is the hierarchy of dragons; even if I have countless dragonesses in my cave, she is forever my Queen, the one that manages the cave.

She has rightfully placed me as her mate, and therefore, I also need to place her as mine.

The piece entered her body and there wasn't much of a reaction, as if it had belonged there all this time, we kissed one another deeply; she jumped on me literally and confessed her love, henceforth she is my 'Queen'.

"Thanks for the pieces, Ajuka, what do you want in exchange?" I told him, what he has given me is quite useful.

"Please, receive them freely... it is my gratitude to you for not killing Sirzechs. He may be headstrong and a fool when it comes to love, but his contribution to the underworld is undeniable... if he had died, I don't want to imagine the catastrophe that would ensue afterwards... thank you for sparing his life again, Richter-sama" Both of them bowed towards me and I accepted their judgement.

I guess sparring that trash was somehow worth it.

"You can just call me Richter, Ajuka and you too Sandalphon... thanks for today, we will be on our way, take care of yourselves, I'm not ignorant enough as to not know that my action won't spread waves" I smirked and prepared to leave together with a clingy Grayfia, I think we will have a busy evening again.

"Richter-sam-*cough* Richter-san, about my daughter..." Sandalphon stopped me, making me turn around to face her, the topic she was about to touch seemed to be in synchrony with Ajuka as he too seemed quite awkward to speak about this.

"Uhm?"

"I-I can tell that she's really into you, so... I won't ask you to accept her but, please... if that happens, take care of my daughter, she has suffered... quite a bit... for our mistake" Sandalphon spoke regretfully and bowed to me, begging me to consider.

"Mistake?" Grayfia inquired in my stead.

"Because I'm a Satan and she used to be a Seraph... me and Sandalphon's union was supposed to be 'prohibited' hence... she has never been accepted anywhere, Albedo has forged her path with her own hands, if you could love her dearly, as her parents we couldn't wish for anything more" Ajuka summarised.

I smirked at both of them prompting them to look at me with aggrieved expressions.

"Don't you think she's too young for me~"

"Surely you jest, Richter-sama... for existences like us, what is age?~ I know that girl is quite experienced as well, despite being a virgin, she has always been interested in 'that', hoping that she'd find her partner... alas, here in the underworld she won't be accepted as for the humans, she only regards them as disgusting weaklings... with her entire time spent in trying to become stronger with her 'sisters' Albedo never paid attention to her most inner desire, to find a partner, that is until now~ I have never seen her looking at anyone as she looks at you".

I smiled and nodded, turning around and opening a portal to lead us back to the Lucifuge Clan.

What am I going to do with Albedo? I don't know yet, but I won't ignore her forever.

"He rejected, me, that bastard rejected me..."

A gigantic red dragon was in front of a massive shrinking fissure, she focused all of her strength on fixing this spatial crack, her body wasn't as bloodied as before, but she hadn't yet recovered from everything that happened.

'Such a strong dragon... y-you, how dare you reject me... Richter Golden-Haze... I'll definitely go back at you, I will see if you reject me again!'

What remained of the gigantic crimson dragoness, was what could only be described as a bombshell of a female. A crimson-haired beauty with red-slitted eyes.

This would be the second coming of Great Red.
