The Goddess Amaterasu was nothing short of the reflection of the sun itself. Her delightful hands were rammed with tattoos that resembled the red of the fallen leaves of summer.

Her flaming sword lifted up, releasing unprecedented heat.

It emitted a single shockwave that made her delicate kimono blow like gales of wind. Ares gritted his teeth and used Durandall to cover himself from the shockwave releasing one of his own, however... that wasn't her objective.

*CRACK!!*

The invisible reddish barrier set by the God of War cracked like feeble glass before shattering, further sending him into a maddening rage.

"You stubborn wench!"

Amaterasu ignored him and instead flashed her eyes to the ruined Kuoh Academy.

'Akeno from the Himejima Clan... Tsubaki from the Shinra Clan... I hereby revoke your exile... assist the rising sun during this time of crisis... the rest of the families should be mobilising soon together with the Onmyouji and the Yokai, we merely had... difficulties'

Amaterasu felt ashamed to have to rely on mere mortals, but... Takamagahara was currently at war as well... Susanoo together with the Shinto divinities were engaged in a fierce fight against the Hindu Goddess Parvati and her brother, Tsukiyomi.

She had made her decision, she merely hoped it wouldn't be too late.

Two surprised voices shouted back at her message.

'Please rest assured, Amaterasu-sama!' Both Akeno and Tsubaki were already doing their best together with Sona's peerage who had been there during the chaos, they were trying to save as many humans as possible; even devils were injured.

"Are you ready to play, Amaterasu?~" Ares flashed in front of her with all due disrespect. She twitched her lips and brandished her flaming sword.

*BOOOOMMMMMMM!!!!*

Her flaming sword was shattered immediately, but the Goddess refused to back off, taking her sleeves imbued with blazing fire, she crashed her elbows against the sword, astonishing Ares.

"Do you think you can take a blow from me with your sleeves?!"

"Anytime, kid~"

The sword produced sparks and shockwaves before coming to a stop, Ares was aghast.

"To face me, the Sun Goddess, Zeus or Hades would have to come out from their filthy palaces; stop wasting my time, junior"

Amaterasu brushed her sleeve imbued in flames and it was as if the sun itself had descended, Ares felt pushed hopelessly even while imbued in his crimson berserk aura.

*BOOOOOOMMMMMMM!!!*

The God of War had used his sword to cover himself, but that didn't stop him from furiously crashing against a building, he stood up in the middle of the rubble only to see how Amaterasu utterly disregarded him and instead pointed her hand towards the North, three of her nine fires crashed together to form a devastating blue flame that she shot towards that direction; There, Yasaka, Azazel and Satanael were still clashing fiercely.

*WHOOOOSHHHH!!*

The torrent of flames was so great that the whole world seemed to turn blue and as if in perfect Sync the Fox flashed away, taking a confused Azazel into her maw and leaving an exposed ridiculed Satanael.

"HAAAAAAAA!!!"

The Cadre's body was engulfed by devastating flames, but that wasn't the only thing, all of that area filled with crumbling buildings was completely burned to a crisp, when the torrent of flames ended, there was no more cadre.

"For the sake of preserving our land, souls shall perish, rejoice for your death has sent a devastating message to our foes. None threats our land with impunity" Amaterasu closed her eyes for a second, sending a symbolic message to all those fallen in this catastrophe... her beloved Japanese citizen, the source of her faith.

"DON'T UNDERESTIMATE ME!" Ares disregarded her pleas and instead the aura that was originally crimson in colour, turned heavy and musky like blood.

His aura increased several folds, rendering the goddess to open her eyes and release a sigh.

Yasaka landed nearby spitting out a stupefied Azazel.

"Ew! could have told me before doing that..." He complained but was ignored by the Golden Kitsune who received a transmission from her beloved Sun Goddess.

'Yasaka... help the devils from the old satan faction and the Archangel Gabriel, they're losing the battle against Archangel Azrael'.

'Don't you need my support, Amaterasu-sama?'

'This is not an opponent you can assist me with, help the five families protect Kanto, this is your task, I allow you to command Nurarihyon and his legions during this junction...'

'Understood!'

Without even asking for questions Yasaka wrapped an irritated Azazel with one of her tails and leapt away towards the other battlefield that was causing equal destruction, for her, it was ridiculous how three Ultimate Class Devils and a Great Seraph were unable to face Azrael equally. Yasaka was a Demigoddess while Azazel was a powerful cadre, they should be able to cope, or at least that's what she thought.

While in her thoughts her palm lifted up to receive a blow from the God of War.

Amaterasu grit her teeth, feeling the increase in power, it was exponential, at least three times as heavy as last time and it was still increasing.

"What a stubborn kid, truly a battle maniac... you could learn a thing or two from Hachiman, or even your own sister, Athena..."

"Shut up!"

His sword kept pressing forward, but like a mistress adept at dancing, Amaterasu swirled around a barrage of flames, perturbing Ares' momentum and ending it with a slap to his face.

*BOOOOOOMMMMMM!!!*

"I told you, boy... from your faction, only Parvati, Nyx, Erebus and Hades could ever hope to face me... you're still not there"

"Tch! I do not belong to the Fallen God Faction, bitch... our interests merely coincide, as long as I keep you here and away from the underworld, I'm already keeping my end of the deal with Hades".

"Is that so? that deal may cost you your life".

She extended her arms out and released a torrent of flames that covered the whole world, Ares remained on guard and ready for anything she was going to do, however... the flames converged forming a spherical sphere around them that made it look as if they were in the core of the sun.

"Allow me to show you, the power of faith, God of War. Unlike you who causes nothing but destruction. I'm loved a worshipped; Alas... the beloved sun shall not only bring life and beauty but also... scorching destruction!"

Amaterasu extended her beautiful hand forward and yelled with all due authority of a goddess of her calibre.

*RUMBLE!*

Ares gasped when he, the God of War, suddenly felt as if he was inside a volcano... a very hot and hellish one!

Torrents of crimson fire were released by Amaterasu's whole body before the whole world inside the barrier began to melt and evaporate as if the sun had just descended.

Ares had to look stupefied the moment Durandall began to melt at the tip, it was then that he realised that he needed to get the hell away from there.

'Fuck the Fallen God Faction...' He grits his teeth and tore a gnashing wound in space, seeking to flee to the dimensional gap, alas... it was then that he met with nothing but pure nothingness from the other side, pitch blackness!

The dimensional gap is unavailable!

'Dammit!'

By the time he desired to tear space towards somewhere else, Amaterasu had more than seen his intentions.

"Where do you think you're going, trespasser...? you can dream of coming out of this alive... I'll burn your disgraceful soul to plead in the name of my fallen worshippers... be ready for nothingness".

"BITCH!!"

It was when a gigantic palm made of blazing fire gripped him, that Ares knew he wasn't coming out of this alive.
