Chaotic Universe I

[Richter's POV]

Upon entering the portal, I immediately felt a feeble rush of faith entering my essence. It seems this world doesn't have that many gold worshippers.

"Are you sure you want to let me in your world? It could be dangerous…" I looked around, spreading my senses as far as they could go and catching on a nigh-infinite amount of planets and realms, as well as a massacre that was taking place.

A battle between devil gods. Jie Yuan didn't seem to care about those happenings, as expected of her... she's an ancient existence that cares little about life. Instead of paying attention to the rumble, she turned around to consider my words.

"If you wanted to do something… you would have done so. When even I am unable to create a spatial gap in that world, you're able to do so easily".

Indeed, if I wanted to destroy this universe, it wouldn't be too hard. I'm more interested in knowing what the difference between universes is. I don't know about Destiny, Ether or Nebulous... but this is my first time leaving Helius. Great Red and Ophis had been a pleasant surprise in Grayfia's world. Such strong individuals with complex concepts, I wondered if there were such individuals here.

So far this woman, Jie Yuan, is quite strong but her concept is simply darkness... I don't know why she calls herself a 'Devil Emperor' when not only she holds authority but she's also a woman... to each their own.

"It is not a long time that I can spend here, Jie Yuan" I stated and she nodded at me with a neutral expression.

If I stay here for too long, I don't know how long will it be before I head back to Grayfia's world. I don't plan to leave her and Gabriel for too long.

*RUMBLE!!*

I extended a little of my aura around this world, several spatial cracks appeared with this simple move. But these spatial cracks weren't simple. They were not purely spatial, instead... they were being produced by void.

"This world's spatial mantle is not fragile at all, instead… it is this energy that keeps the laws working together which is feeble" I analysed it.

"Clever... this place is called the God Realm of Absolute Beginning, from ancient times it has been the place in primal chaos with the highest concentration of profound energy, the energy that keeps this universe together on the spatial mantle… back when I was thrown away, it wasn't this scarce and weak, something must have happened".

"Why were you thrown away?" I asked out of mere curiosity, but Jie Yuan evaded my gaze and clenched her hands, obviously a hard topic.

"I committed a 'sin' and I was betrayed as well by my devil race. There could be many other reasons, but... as of now, I don't know".

"I see".

"And you? why were you exiled?"

"There is this dragoness that's obsessed with me, and she will stop at nothing to get together with me, even the most skewered of methods..." I growled with wrath upon remembering Destiny's ploy. Jie Yuan deadpanned when I said so, maybe thinking that I was joking... sadly, I'm not.

"Those devils…" I questioned her further about the devils that were fighting in the distance. There was a colony of nascent dragons in this world that was being attacked by a few Devil Gods, but... some of them protected the colony and allowed them to flee.

"The Dragons of the Beginning, to think that even their race has become this weak... after thousands of years of void and emptiness, the devil gods from my clan have gone insane, however... some of them do still hold feelings for the primal chaos. I don't care anymore... whatever they want to do, to this world, I won't meddle… the primal chaos owes them and it will pay. Come with me, Richter".

Jie Yuan dismissed the chaos as if it was a daily routine; this was her world so I didn't say any more and just followed her. This is the truth of the world; the same is happening in Grayfia's world, war.

And it is also likely to be happening in Helius upon my disappearance, war.

She took me far away from our location, past thousands of realms into a shallow spot on the outskirts of this universe. The world here was weak as well, in the sense of that 'profound energy' being almost inexistent.

It was a planet resembling the earth in Grayfia's world, except that this world had a lot more water than land.

"This used to be my and my husband's home… it seems to be called Blue Pole Star now. It is the only lead I have except for the Northern Divine Region. How far can your senses spread?"

"This universe is big but I should be able to cover all of it if I try" I shrugged, my only worry is how feeble this world is, I believe after searching long enough, I should find the cause.

"Is that so... how strong are you exactly?"

"We can fight and you can find out, Jie Yuan~"

"..." I could sense some challenges coming from her like she was ready to give it a go, but eventually she sighed and turned away from me, "I don't think now is the best moment; not when I'm so worried about my daughter" Her gaze refocused on the planet beneath.

"These are the lower realms, from the beginning this place is the one with the most scarce profound energy and that's also why we left it in this world, however... this planet has moved from its original location by a lot, several million miles. There also didn't use to be this much water on it. My husband's power was the elements while mine is darkness".

She continued to tell me some characteristics of this world of hers while my senses covered all of it; I only found several oddities which quite resembled Grayfia's world.

Just like in Grayfia's world. The Netherworld, The Underworld, The Heavens, Takamagahara... those parallel dimensions were situated in the Earth. In this world, there were also some parallel dimensions, but they were more deeply concealed.

"In any case. There are several oddities in this world".

"Like?"

I took her arm, something that surprised her slightly before the two of us disappeared and reappeared in one of those dimensions.

"This is..." She questioned, "how could I not feel this parallel world?"

"It is a concealed spatial dimension; I believe it must have been created by your husband; that treasure you now have belonged to him, right?" I explained to her.

"Yes, how do you know?"

"You are not aware of this world... yet this parallel dimension was created with that same artefact... they share the same aura" I pointed to the needle she was holding in her hand, that treasure that released an overwhelming spatial aura... she was likely unable to use this treasure to its full potential, unlike her husband.

"..."

Jie Yuan's whole aura began to permeate this world, inspecting it... and it was then that her eyes widened, aghast.

"Qingyue, RUN!"

Her gaze set on a pair of children that were fighting a beast, I didn't understand why she was so interested in them.

"That's... my husband's profound veins... a seed and also... the sky poison pearl?"

I don't know what she found, but... it seems I brought her to the right place.
