The bell had finally rung as Adrian was currently in the middle of his studies. He felt utter boredom from just listening to these lessons. However, there was an obvious rumor spreading around school that a new student was transferring to Kuoh Highschool.

"Did you hear? A new student is coming to our Highschool!" "Wait, really? I thought that was just a rumor!" "Oh! I hope I can make friends with them!"

Plenty of other students were discussing about the new student. They were ecstatic about the idea of a new face around. However, all Adrian could feel was annoyance and boredom. The teacher had sat everybody down and decided to introduce the new transfer. "Hello, everybody! I'd like to introduce to you our new student! Ophis Ouroboros!" She waved politely as she then looked in his direction with a small and smug smirk.

"Tsk." He looked away with annoyance as he clicked his tongue. He knew that she'd probably follow him everywhere during school hours and even when he got home.

She walked down the row of seats until she arrived at Adrian's seat. A small and genuine smile had appeared on her face as her lips curved upwards when she saw him. She would then take a seat near Adrian before she was left with her thoughts.

"Did you see that? I think she smiled when she looked at Adrian.." "Wait, do they know eachother?" "I swear she smiled at him when she entered the classroom."

A few whispers and rumors started to spread around the classroom before the teacher would then clear their throat to get everybody's attention and start teaching.

Ophis POV

Is it a surprise to say that she wants to stay by his side? It was strange. She saw that vampire threatening him and she couldn't help but feel .. something?

It was almost like she felt anger..

Could that possibly be? She hadn't ever felt such strong emotions before except when Great Red had kicked her out of her own home.

She felt the same exact thing when he was threatened. She felt annoyed, frustrated, and angry.

Hm.. Something to think about later.

"I. Fucking. Hate. School." Adrian swore as he fell onto his bed and ruffled his hair in frustration. "I'M THE ADMINISTRATOR OF AN ENTIRE SUPERNATURAL ORGANIZATION AND I HAVE TO GO TO SCHOOL!? THIS WORLD IS CRUEL!" He said dramatically despite nobody being there.

"Do you want me to destroy it?" Ophis asked with a tilt of her head as Adrian suddenly jumped up in a cold sweat as he used the classic potential man hand signs.

"WITH THIS SACRED TREASURE, I SUMMON— Oh, it's just you.." He almost killed himself for no reason! Was he gaining Megumi's instincts? How horrible..

Wait.

What did she just say?

"Er.. what?" Adrian asked hesitantly as he stared at the Dragon God.

"Do you want me to destroy the world?" She asked once again. He stared at her for a hot minute before he decided to ask her something. "Why would I want you to do that?"

"Because you said the world was cruel. I can destroy it if you don't like it." She answered politely.

"And.. why would YOU do that because I said that?" Adrian asked with a bored expression. What was her game? Her end goal just wasn't clear to him for some reason.

She had been acting a bit weird for the entire time that she'd been here. She always wanted to be involved with whatever he was involved with, always did whatever he asked except if it involved her not being near him. Now.. he had a crazy theory. However, he'd probe a bit more before telling her his theory.

"… I don't know." She answered as she looked at the floor. Adrian thought for a moment. He sighed as he put on a small smile afterwards. He placed a comfortable hand on top of her head to comfort her. She didn't object to this action as she even felt content with it.

"You're experiencing an emotion, Infinity." He explained as he smiled at her softly. "Affection."

Ophis felt confused for once in her life. She was one of the few entities that had been around for the longest times. However, what he said made her feel somewhat joyful in her heart. "It's so unfamiliar and strange.. but I don't seem to hate it for some reason."

"However, this doesn't mean that you have to do everything that I want to appease me. As much as I hate to admit it, I enjoy your presence more than enough." He spoke softly as he pulled her into a warm and gentle hug. She seemed to melt in it as she looked up at him while reciprocating the action. "I can't help it, though.. Whenever you feel accomplished, I feel the same. I like seeing you happy because it makes me happy in return."

"Nonetheless, you shouldn't push yourself. I'd rather you discover how to feel these emotions yourself instead of having to rely on me." He explained with his casual smile.

"… I don't understand."

"You don't have to. You can understand anytime you feel is right."

"Can we stay like this for a bit longer?"

"As long as you want."

"Improvement, I have a question." Ophis asked as she clinged onto Adrian. He would sigh as he decided to entertain her for a bit longer.

"If I answer, will you let go?" Adrian asked as he walked down the school hallways. However, he already knew the answer to his own question.

"No."

"Haaaah.. What's your question, Infinity?" He relented while trying to avoid the obvious stares.

"Can you teach me more emotions?"

"I will when we get home, okay?"

"Okay." A small smile appeared on her face as she walked to their next class together.

"A-Adrian, I.. er.. have a question. Why is such a powerful being attached to you?" Kiba asked hesitantly as he could sense her immense power.

"Mm.. It's kinda complicated." He shrugged while he tried to push Ophis off. She, however, wouldn't let go as Adrian would then give up after a bit.

"She's a dragon." He gave them an easier to digest answer than a Dragon God. Everybody seemed shocked except for one person.

Issei was extremely excited as he would pause for a bit and ask a question. "A dragon?! Holy shit, that's awesome! This dragon even took the form of a cute girl! My Sacred Gear is based on a badass dragon too! But.. er.. why is she attached to you?"

"Great question! Why ARE you attached to me, hm?" Adrian answered that question with a question directed towards Ophis.

"Comfortable." She answered plainly.

"…"

"…"

"Okay then. Let's just ignore her and do our thing." Adrian said as he knew he couldn't get her to leave.

However, a sudden rumbling in the ground could be heard as a magical circle appeared beneath everyone! A figure appeared from the magical circle. It was..
