6 Ch 6

I lay on my bed looking up at the large holographic screen above me. Various places show up on the screen such as the Lucifad the capital city, the Gremory and Sitri territory to many other places I even have them watching important people like the heir of the Glasya-Labolas clan. i am already friends with Iryuka but that is about the only member of that clan i have managed to make friends with. Zephyrdor and the heir were no use though they hold no respect for the rankings of devil society and the heir is similar to how Diodora was in the show arrogant and extremely prideful of his bloodline and his connection to one of the satans. just remembering how he treated me when we meet infuriates me so much.

I take a deep breath to calm my self. I know he was killed by Diodora but that won't happen now. Shalba was the one behind the entire thing so even if i remove Diodora there is a very good chance it could still happen. If i manage to save the heir of the Glasya-Labolas they will be indebted to me and my popularity will rise in devil society, so it is important to keep tabs on him.

I keep switching through the screens until i come across probably the most important person right now. this watcher was in the Naberius domain watching over a member of the branch family or well more specifically the two nekoshou sisters in his peerage.it was currently in the corner of a dark room where a black haired Nekoshou is strapped to a table while a tall man with gray hair that looked in his mid-twenties was humming peacefully as he flipped through his notebook while grabbing all his tools for the procedure he is about to do.

" i must give credit to that human he really did know his stuff. it is a shame he died your father i mean. If only he was here to see how close you are to making his research complete. "

Kuroka didn't bother to reply to her master it seemed she was more so bracing herself for what is about to come. the man walked over to the table and laid the assortment of tools to the side as he grabs the scalpel from his tools. he places the blade of the scalpel against her chest slowly pushing the blade in till it punctures the skin and drags the knife down her chest making a long vertical cut down. she thrashes about but the straps hold her into place making it futile. she may no longer be scared of him or what he will do but that doesn't stop the pain it is ever present in her life since she became a servant to him. she has no choice but to go along for Koneko her little sister this is the only place they have.

the inhuman acts performed on her continue for another hour before they finally stop they all ranged from using toxins and injections and to cutting her body and replacing them modifying her body hoping to achieve creating a artificial super devil. even with all that happened once she gets back to shirone it is as if all the bad things that happened to are no longer affecting her and the little white cat is none the wiser of what really happens at this lab.

I cut the screen off since I don't want to see anymore.

' Poor Kuroka she endures all that just to be hunted and hated by her own sister. '

if I could do something to help her right now i would but there isn't much i can do until she breaks out of the Naberius domain. i have recorded all the experiments i could gathering enough evidence to convince the higher ups that she shouldn't be labeled as a stray. I also took pictures of all the research on super devil's but I am hesitant to show that as the higher up's could confiscate that information and attempt to perform there own. Greedy old bastards they are.

the only way i would be able to protect her is if she enters into my service then i would have a chance. I know I would be able to do it then as I already have the support of two satans Serafall and my father. Serafall would be really helpful in this as this counts as foreign affairs i sent some clips to her of what was happening over there and gave her the gist of what he was trying to do and upon hearing that she was all more than willing to help me out on this. she has already headed over to the youkai faction to speak to Magari about this and she also wanted to help the daughters of Fujimai. as it stands with the youkai faction getting involved this is more than likely to work as we devils already have many enemies and don't need anymore. 

I sit up and make a communication spell connecting me to Serafall.

" Serafall how are you doing. " I ask her in a relaxed manner with no formalities or anything like that.

" Alex-Kun it's so good to hear your voice again. I'm doing fine. " says Serafall in a happy tone but the tiredness in her voice was also noticeable.

" thanks for doing all this Serafall I'll be sure to make it up to you " she really has done a lot for me so far and yet I haven't done anything to repay her.

i hear some small laughter on the other side. " if you want to make it up to me i can think of a few things. " says Serafall in a low seductive voice.

what she said stays in my head for a minute before a blush creeps up on my face. "S-s-serafall please be serious for a minute. " 

she just laughs at my response. " sorry, sorry it's that you're too cute I can't help myself. it is so fun teasing you. "

she has been messing with me like this pretty often for a while now I don't mind it really in fact I really enjoy our talks. she is fun and cheerful it is nice having her around. 

" so I take it you called to know how the talks with the youkai faction went right. " Serafall said with a voice that was more serious than how she was talking before.

"yeah i would like to know how it went are they onboard with helping me especially Magari. " it is very important to have her support in this as she is the leader of the nekotama.

" yeah it went surprisingly well Magari is all in with this she was very supportive of getting involved after I showed her the clips you sent me. she wasn't happy seeing the daughters of Fujimai being treated like that. " she said with some sadness in her voice.

" that is great to hear with this there will be one less problem to deal with. "

She hums in agreement with me. " well if that is all i will be leaving i have other matters that i need to attend to. "

" okay see you soon Serafall. " with that I end the communication circle.

well with all that set this problem should be fairly easy to deal with now. the only thing missing for this to work is the evil piece set but i will be getting that soon along with rias so right now i am in no rush cause Kuroka will only kill her master sometime after rias gets her evil piece set.

but what should i do now?

the watcher got complete and there are no events to attend. my schedule for the first time in a long while is free. i could practice my magic but right now there really isn't a need to I already have the most demonic power out of all the younger devils and magic is my strong suit. if anything, I should work on my weaknesses which is close combat and experience but how would i train those two areas.

' I got it ill go train in the forest there are plenty of monsters in there to fight. " the forest of the underworld is filled with plenty of monsters ranging from weak monsters that low class devils can fight all the way to ultimate class beings like the dragon kings.

 If i can be honest I'm not sure it is a good idea to go there myself i should go and see if anybody else is willing to come. I'm pretty sure if i ask any of my friends they would turn me down. devils in general don't train since they grow stronger the older they get so they see no need much less heading into the forest to fight monsters away from there luxurious lifestyle. now that i think about it i probably seem like a nutjob to them.

' Hmm who would be willing to come with me. ' I didn't take long for a certain some one to come to my mind. I immediately start heading to where they are. it didn't take long to get there if you fly just a few minutes.

I land on the on the side of the courtyard that we frequently use for training and see targets set up in various places in the courtyard before they are blown away by multiple blasts of demonic energy destroying each of them with dead on precision.

' just as i thought he was here. ' Diodora has become a really hard worker since the first time i meet him.

" Sup Diodora " 

Diodora is breathing heavily with sweat dripping down his face. he wipes the sweat off using a towel he had nearby before approaching me. " Alex. "he said with a smile.

" i see you are training for that beat down in two weeks huh. " I say while laughing a bit.

" Don't compare me to you. " says Diodora with a smirk on his face.

I lose my smile at his reply. " I'll have you know i made it out of that match fairly well. "

" sure. " he says as he rolls his eyes. " you know you had a black eye, a broken nose. multiple broken ribs and bruises all across your body the maids freaked out. " 

at his words I avoid his eye contact not looking him in the eyes. " okay maybe it was bad but that is why i am here i need your help. this could help the both of us."

he looks at me with interest now curious as to what I'm going to ask him.

he tilts his head to the side. " so what is it? "

" would you like to go into the forests of the underworld with me to go fight monsters. "

At what I said he looks at me like I'm the dumbest person on the planet. " NO are you crazy you know you would just get yourself killed right? "

' like i thought it might be a little hard to convince him this is a good idea which it is not. '

" okay i know it might sound a little stupid bu-

Diodora interrupts me as i am speaking. " no buts this is stupid go find somebody else. "he refuses me as he starts to walk away.

i get Infront of him blocking his path. " yes, you are right but we need this the experience of combat me and you are strong enough, but we lack experience i promise we won't fight any thing we are not capable of beating and if it gets to dangerous, we will leave okay. " I look at him to see what his response is.

he scratches his head looking rather conflicted about the offer. " Ahh fine, fine I'll go with you but if it gets to dangerous and i mean it we leave. " he stretches his hand out for me to shake which I do.

with Diodora on board we head inside to go get supplies making sure we are prepared for just about anything. we pack up food medical supplies tents and other various things we think that might be needed. Diodora grabs a map that highlights more of the dangerous parts of the forest and monsters we should be looking out for. I pack extra clothes to just in case. with all that me and Diodora head towards the front door and open it.

we however were meet with a strange sight of a little girl in a dress with blue eyes and twin tails for hair pacing back and forth mumbling looking nervous.

" just hand him the invitation and ask him if he would like to spend some time yeah thats it you can do it Ravel. " she says in a soft voice that only she can hear.

" Ravel "

" Eeepp " she takes a step back obviously startled

" A-a-alexander how long were you there for? " She asks in a small voice but loud enough for us to hear it.

" we just stepped out and saw you there by the way what are you doing here. "

her face becomes a light red color as she comes closer and hands me a envelope with the phenex clan symbol stamped onto it.

" This is a invitation to the party we are hosting for my brother Ruval for making it into the professionals of the rating games. be happy i came here to give it to you personally. "

I give her a smile " thanks Ravel i will be sure to be there. "

She blushes as she fidgets around. " also if you are free i was wondering if would like to spend some time together. " Her face becomes more and more red as she speaks.

" I would love to ravel but I'm going to be doing something for about the next week. " I feel bad real bad as she looks really dejected about my answer and starts to walk away.

" Oh, I see maybe next time then. " She says with all of her previous enthusiasm gone from her voice. 

" Smooth going there " says Diodora as he side eyes me.

I go to catch up to ravel calling out to her. " Ravel wait. " she stops and turns around to look at me.

" um do you need something " she says as she avoids looking me in the eyes.

" yeah I just wanted to say sorry Ravel but I will be sure to make it up to I promise. " I say as I give her a quick hug before leaving with Diodora heading out to the forests of the underworld.

Ravel had a huge blush on her face as she walked away with a big smile on her face. " he hugged me hehe. "
