"No, just go back to your lamp." I told her already having my question answered.
She disappeared into blue smoke and was absorbed into the lamp.
'I must have been a real monster before.' I thought.
'It would seem so...' Ddraig said clearly, understanding I was upset.
'Do I even deserve to remember?' I asked him.
'I think you need to find that answer yourself. What does your heart tell you? Isn't that what you told Raven?' he answered me.
"Mavros, you told me you were a prick. Didn't say you were that evil. Then again you were stronger than them. The strong rule the weak, so I won't say anything." she said, making me sigh.
"Even though I told you we would meet my team after getting this relic. I think I have to go see someone first." I told her to get a nod.
"Who if I may ask?" she asked me.
"Ambrosius." I told her.
"Who?" she asked, in confusion.
"The relic of creation. Being on the staff." I elaborated.
Even if I didn't have the winter Maiden, I had my ways to open the vault.
Opening up another portal we walked through it coming out right in front of the vault of creation.
"So, how are we going to open this vault? We don't have the winter maiden." Raven asked me, causing me to chuckle evilly.
"I learned a few things about myself today that I wasn't happy with. I'm going to take my anger out on this door." I told her, getting a surprised look from her.
Summoning Ddraig, I activated the balance breaker form. Which reminded me how close I was to the Juggernaut Drive.
When I got a notification pop up saying level 85 had been reached.
"Balance Breaker!" Ddraig Yelled. "Boost Boost Boost Boost Boost Boost Boost Boost Boost Boost Boost Boost Boost Boost Boost Boost Boost... Boostx100" Ddraig started repeating.
When he did all the boosts my body felt like it was going to burst. Felt like it would explode with the slightest twitch. However, the power felt right. Like it was meant to be for me to be this powerful. It also felt... weak though.
I felt a sense of longing for something else. I then saw a glimpse of the wall in my mind that shined several different colors. They all glowed for a moment and I could see chains forming that suppressed them down. However, the wall kept expanding and I saw parts of the chains break before they seemed to tighten again. Locking the wall down.
Taking a look at the wall I noticed a few of the sections looked to be cracking. The blue and red were the ones that had the most cracks. Only one section showed no signs of deteriorating.
The black section. Looking at it I felt the sense of longing again. Reaching my hand out I brush my hand along the wall. The wall seemed to try sucking me in before a chain with several locks formed wrapping around the black section and pulling it away.
My sight quickly changed again and I found myself in front of the relic of the creation vault.
'I have figured out my answer.' I said to Ddraig.
'Already? What did you find out?" he asked surprised.
"I may have been a monster. In my past. I'm not saying I'm still not or won't be again, but I can say this... that power is a part of me. It wants me back and I want it. After all, If I don't obtain it my family will be left behind." I said out loud.
Clenching my fist I punched the door of the vault. The aftershock that followed shook all of Atlas. The door dented under the pressure, surprising me. I punched the door again and another shock happened. The door still stood.
"Ddraig now." I said to him, "EXPLOSION!" he yelled and I felt all the boosts before it seemed to go into overdrive. My strength seemed to quadruple from the numbers before.
Clenching back my fist one last time I punched the door. The boost made my sight faster and I could see the door crease in on itself before where the two big doors connected exploded open. Both doors bent in the middle leaving a small opening for Raven and me to get through.
Dropping the armor I collapsed on a knee out of breath.
That took way too much out of me.
"That must have taken a lot out of you, Mavros. Will you be okay?" Raven asked.
"In ten seconds." I told her.
After ten seconds my fountain of youth ability activated and refreshed my body, healing my fatigue.
Standing up, I started walking toward the relic that was emitting a sense of pain and fear at my approach. Looking around I saw we were in a beautiful field. It had a peaceful landscape.
At least Ambrosius had some solace over the years.
Grabbing the staff time stopped and a cloud of blue smoke came out. Ambrosius must have known it was me because he instantly kneeled.
"I'm sorry for my disobedience master. It won't happen again. I'll be eternally loyal to you. Tell me what you want to be made and it shall be done." he told me.
"Is the pain gone?" I asked him.
"It is master. Thanks for your mercy and forgiveness." he said while his eyes seemed to lose light in them like Jinn.
Looking at him I could physically see the drain I caused him. His eyes were bloodshot. His blue skin looked to be feverish. Looking at his neck I saw the invisible chain that linked him to me.
"Good, go back to the staff we will talk another time." he said and I could visibly see the relief in him.
No use saying anything else. No need to apologize he probably will act loyal to me anyway.
"Let's go. We are done here." I told her and we walked out of the vault.
