"DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM?" Cardin yelled in pain.

"A dead man walking!" I told him, looking at him in rage. Looking toward his friends in a rage they scurried away from Eri. "HOW DARE YOU TOUCH HER!"

Eri seemed to not have noticed me and curled up in a ball crying.

"Don't touch me. Don't touch me. I'm sorry. I'm sorry." she kept repeating. She was in her own little world not noticing what was happening around her.

"WHAT DO YOU THINK YOUR DOING GET HIM!" Cardin yelled at his team, still holding his knee.

His team got over their fear and got up and tried attacking me. One of them tried tackling me, another tried punching me in the face, and the last one was rushing for a weapon.

The one tackling reached me first. I grabbed his head while he was still in the air and slammed him into the ground. Which allowed me to dodge his friend trying to punch me.

Using the person that I slammed into the ground head as leverage I used my strength to spin myself around kicking the person I dodged across the face causing him to get sent backward.

Using my cold quirk I turned the person on the ground into an ice sculpture. He didn't even get a chance to scream before his body was turned to ice.

Standing up I noticed that the guy who went for a weapon had managed to get one. It was just a basic sword that looked to have some improvements for dust. I noticed it looked to be a poorly made sword; it may just have been poorly maintained though.

He rushed me in rage and tried swinging the sword overhead. I put my hand up stopping it with just my hand. The blade was that of a mortal weapon so it didn't even scratch my skin.

I grabbed the blade pulling the attacker to me and used [Overhaul] on him causing him to explode. Guts going around the room not hitting me or Eri but covering Cardin and the guy I kicked in the face.

I must have used a lot of force on my kick or the guy had a glass jaw because he still hadn't gotten up. Going over I touched my five fingers to the unconscious guy and used [Decay]. He was probably the luckiest one out of team CRDL because he didn't have to feel the pain of turning into dust.

Cardin was trying to crawl away in fear. I sneered in rage. Grabbing him by the neck I slammed him into the wall and started applying some pressure.

"Why are you doing this? She is just an animal they don't deserve protection. Animals deserve to be bred and treated like what they are." he said, making me apply more pressure on his neck.

"I don't think I've ever hated someone as much as you. Eri is one of the kindest people you would ever meet and you tried doing something so horrendous to her. I'm going to tell you something..." I told Cardin still squeezing his neck making him struggle to breathe.

"W-What is it?" Cardin struggled to ask.

"Eri doesn't look at how she appears. She is actually six years old and doesn't even know what you were trying to do." I told him. "What do you feel about information?"

"I-I don't know." he said, causing me to squeeze his neck harder.

"I want you to tell me what you feel. Don't lie because if you do I will know." I said to him and he went quiet. "TELL ME!"

"NOTHING! I FEEL NOTHING!" he screamed in fear.

"You don't feel remorse or regret?" I asked him, barely containing my rage.

"N-No I-I don't." he said quietly.

"What do you think is the most painful way to die? Burning to death or every fiber of your being turned to dust?" I asked him.

"P-Please don't kill me." he said in tears.

"Shhh... don't cry. It is just a question that I want you to answer." I told him to calm down.

"I don't want to answer though." he said and I just smiled and applied pressure to his neck. "Wait, don't kill me. I'll answer it... I would say burning to death because it is overtime."

"Good answer... you are really an idiot." I said before calling on my fire dragon slayer side to create a new skill.

The idea for this skill is to cast my hand on fire causing whatever I touch to burn. Which was perfect for the situation of wanting to make Cardin suffer. My hand erupted into flames before slowly consuming Cardin. He screamed out in pain while his body was on fire. Dropping him to the floor he tried rolling to extinguish the flames.

It wasn't working because these weren't normal flames. They were the flames of a dragon. The flames spread throughout his body slowly melting his skin and cooking him alive. The smell of burnt flesh was felt in the air.

Cardin soon stopped screaming but his corpse still remained in flames. Looking at him you could see that his body looked like a charred corpse. His eyeballs looked to be melting from their sockets.

Finishing off the filth I ran over to Eri. I crouched down next to her and tried getting her to calm down by pulling her into a hug. When I touched her though she screamed trying to push me off her.

"Don't touch me! Don't touch me!" she yelled but I noticed she still had her eye clothes.

"Eri it is me. Open your eyes. I'm not going to hurt you." I said, still holding her firmly in a hug. Her head was in my chest crying trying to push me away.
